Great place to have a different view of the city. I tried it by night and got an amazing view of the Luiz 1 bridge and the Douro. It is the perfect place for a cocktail made of Porto Cruz (alcohol free available) while enjoying nice music.

Enjoy the river view at the rooftop. Queue is long but it took us around 20 mins. Music is quite loud but it is a bar so not their false. They control the queue so it is not too crowded when you get there. Most of the spot for your photo with the bridge are taken if you get there almost sunset time.

Amazing rooftop bar in Porto with fantastic 360 degree views, the best service we have experienced in Porto, great bar food and atmosphere/music!!! The waiters are incredibly attentive and not pretentious given the setting. Music on point and both drinks and food well priced and of excellent quality. The panoramic views of Porto, the Douro river and the bridge cannot be beaten. Fantastic find!!!! And so so relaxed!!!!

Our discovery of Espaço Porto Cruz was a fortunate accident, prompted by our desire to escape the bustling, touristy street. We inadvertently ended up on the rooftop, a separate bar, but it was the fourth floor that truly impressed us—an exquisitely decorated and well-managed restaurant. To be honest, I expected our bill for our party of three to be much higher. The food was not only delicious but also presented with impeccable service. A pleasant surprise awaited us at the beginning of the meal when each of us received a complimentary glass of 10-year-aged port. Our waiter, whose name escapes me, was outstanding. He indulged my attempts at practicing Portuguese, patiently answering questions and engaging with my linguistic endeavors. Every dish we ordered was a delight, and the desserts were equally delectable. What stood out most was the serene ambiance of this restaurant compared to the bustling tourist street it's situated on. I wholeheartedly recommend Espaço Porto Cruz for a delightful dining experience in Porto.

Along side the river you have several occasions to taste some port. This one has a great view and a nice lounge terrace. You can taste the different ports, enjoy a variety of cocktails with port. We went for the tawny version. And had a port and a cocktail and enjoyed the music and the views.

This place was recommended to me and I’m so glad we went. We did lunch at the 360 restaurant where we had delicious food and received amazing service. We then did port tasting on the patio with Rafa which was a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Porto as a lunch with a view and a wine tasting spot.

Head straight up to the 4th floor(arrive before sunset to avoid the queues) and enjoy some of the finest wine and cocktails in Porto admiring the amazing view. Or head down to the ground floor for a tasting tray and nibbles. Either way you can’t go wrong. Local tip, the store next door sells their wine a couple Euro’s cheaper per bottle.

Porto Cruz are makers of exceptional Port wine, so it was only fitting that they also have an incredible space in which to enjoy it. Inside the multi level building there is a restaurant, rooftop bar, shop and I think a museum of sorts. The rooftop bar is a great place to soak in the breathtaking views of Porto, whilst enjoying their very own exclusive Port wine or one of the many cocktails on offer. The relaxed seating and DJ were a nice touch too. Staff are very helpful and on their game.

Had amazing port tasting experience here. So grateful for the help I've got from the team while choosing, and the beautiful presentation. And the view is simply amazing. Such a nice place, definitely a highlight of my trip to Porto - highly recommended

We had two port wine tasting menus on the street level seating (tasting menus are not offered on the top floor bar). The guy who gave us an overview of the port wines was really personable and attentive and took his time, must have been 30-40 minutes he spent with us. He also answered a lot of questions we had and made the whole experience very enjoyable. On the next table the person providing the overview must have spent just 10-15 minutes. Maybe it was because we had 2 menus. At the end we were offered a complimentary tasting of two more port wines which was really kind. Wholeheartedly recommend, a must do when in Porto!

Found this rooftop bar by coincidence and expected it to be too fancy and crowded, however we were pleasantly surprised that it was a pretty relaxed vibe and we managed to find a seat. They have a lot of drinks on offer - a good selection of cocktails too and the view is amazing - you probably can’t find a better rooftop on this side of Porto. The prices were reasonably and the staff was friendly.

Roof top views are incredible. Crossing the river for the city view is a must. We didn’t go to the restaurant because it wasn’t open, and we weren’t able to order food on the roof, so maybe don’t go hungry. But the staff is friendly and amenable to us jumping tables to get a better view. Plenty of wine and cocktails, limited beer. Great bar vibe, saw a family there, so kids are fine but might not be the most entertaining for kids.

Porto Cruz is a great space for drinks, specially if you want to have the classics Porto Tonics. Also it is a hot spot for the view. I recommend going at night. The only wierd and bad thing is that it close very early, even at summer time, around 12.

Great experience with port wine tasting and espcially with guidance of Rafael, the guy from the counter. His expertise lead us in right direction. Ask for him and tip him well.

There are different options for wine tasting, we went for the classic one with 4 glasses of Porto with a corresponding chocolate for each. The quality of the wine and the chocolate was superbe. The service was professional and friendly. Worth to mention the prices, absolutely fair

Hi! I advise not to have the Porto wine x 5 by person. It is a sweet wine and might be TOO much for one person. You can share it with your partner. However overall is a pleasant experience.

Amazing sunset views, they had this DJ Cris Fernandes- she played just the right upbeat music for our afternoon - service also very friendly, aperol and of course port wine on demand ! Will be back - beautifull

We came during the mid afternoon and enjoyed the rooftop deck! They have a few non-alcoholic options which were tasty! It’s a bit crowded with loud music but it does offer a beautiful view of Porto!

Rooftopbar is amazing. The view is epic, try their cocktails. It is very busy and the music can be a bit loud. They also have a small snack menu for some food.

Fun afternoon at the Porto Cruz wineshop in Gaia. The place stands out from the rest of the Porto wineries for its modern decor and its rooftop bar in case you would like to indulge in a sunset pre dinner drink. We chose to do a port tasting paired with desserts and the experience was good enough; staff was very helpful, clearly enthusiastic about their product and they made our experience very pleasant offering us some extra cheese and glasses of wine 🍷 afterwards. Great hospitality and definitely a stop to make while in Gaia as their Porto wine tasted nice. Thanks for your generosity!

They found a great table for two even though we did not book for lunch. Views are great over the street and down to the bridge. The restaurant is on 3rd floor so you dont see it from the street so it is a little less busy unless you know it's there. Good service and attention to details. Menu was reasonable and had a good selection, wine waiter was knowledgable and had several good suggestions to pair with our food. I thought my veal was done just right and cooked to perfection. The octopus, though not described as such on the English menu, was battered. The batter must not have been hot enough as it was soggy and white inside and the octopus a touch underdone and soggy. The complaint fell on deaf ears. That aside, I would recommend it and come again. Upstairs the bar is fabulous and well worth a visit for the views.

I recently had a great night at Espaço Porto Cruz Rooftop Bar. The views over Porto were truly amazing, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Great music added to the overall ambience, creating a fun and lively vibe. I highly recommend visiting as it's definitely worth experiencing for yourself.

A wonderful introduction to Porto, very well narrated by our on-site guide who was very knowledgeable and put in a lot of good energy into her descriptions . Cheeses, crackers and nuts were well paired to help drink 5 different Portos!

We went to Porto Cruz to get acquainted with their port wines and taste a little of the atmosphere. We were welcomed enthusiastically and provided with the options to choose from. After we made our choice we sat down and Christina came over to introduce us in the world of port 🍷 She was very kind and told us a lot and asked all our questions. Nice, relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a tasting!

Great wine tasting spot!! I got the “prova origens do sabor” flight that comes with chocolate. If you like Porto, you’ll love this. And the chocolate was delicious. Only downside is that the experience is supposed to come with some sort of explanation but my server didn’t speak English well so I missed out on that part.

This rooftop terrace blew me away! We did not expect to find such a gem, just by accident. The DJ was very good and played the perfect rooftop terrace chill dance music. We had the Coconut Cruz and Smooth Cruz cocktails and were very pleased with them. 🍷 The view was so unique and the guests were all different ages. We’ll be back!

Top location in Gaia directly at the Duoro River. We had the best port wine tasting of the whole vacation. Taste top and also the chocolates served were first class. Equally great is the rooftop bar with great views of the Duoro, beautiful sundowner spot, great DJ and good drinks. We also had a private dinner, the food was very tasty and the service was top. The room with private balcony was very nicely decorated, also here the sunset was great to watch. Conclusion: A clear visit recommendation!

Very nice roof top with DJ many places to sit, very nice atmosphere and a great view of the river and “cais da Ribeira”. Drinks were great and staff very friendly. Can’t say much more because it was about to close when I got there. Would go back to enjoy a little more and try different drinks. A little expensive in comparison with other places in Porto, but was totally fine.

Everything you could ask for in one place! The wine tasting experiences are amazing. I’ve been twice, and both Rafael and Mariana were not only incredibly knowledgeable about the history of port wine, but could not have been nicer and more welcoming if they tried. Both of them made these experiences A+ for my friends and I. The rooftop is also a lovely spot to hang out and enjoy the views of the city from the other side of the river. Very hip place with great drinks. I’ll be coming back here for both the wine tasting endeavors and to get my rooftop drinking fix in. Great spot.
