I
would
stay
away
from
Dr.
Ana
Cristina
Cunha!
My
experience
and
that
of
my
wife
at
the
Júlio
Dinis
Maternity
Hospital
was
terrible,
almost
exclusively
due
to
who
I
consider
incompetent
and
inconsiderable
-
Dr.
Ana
Cristina
Cunha.
After
my
wife
had
a
terribly
botched
second
trimester
ultrasound
done
by
a
doctor
at
the
internship
(it
took
4x
longer
than
at
the
private
school),
the
doctor
appeared
and
said,
with
the
greatest
of
coldness,
that
there
was
a
growth
in
both
kidneys
that
could
mean
trisomy.
21.
Naturally,
my
wife
was
shocked
and
nervous,
asking
-
"What
do
you
mean?
In
the
combined
1st
trimester
screening,
and
in
the
2nd
trimester
ultrasound
that
I
had
already
done
in
private,
there
was
no
evidence
whatsoever!"
-
to
which
the
doctor
replied
-
"I'm
not
talking
to
you
like
that,
calm
down
and
we'll
talk
in
30
minutes".
An
absurd
lack
of
empathy.
When
we
returned
to
the
office,
he
came
in
to
say
that
he
was
doing
us
a
favor
and
that
he
didn't
understand
my
wife's
agitation
-
does
she
think
that
pregnant
women
are
calm
when
they
spill
news
like
that
without
any
calm
explanation?
Then
he
started
giving
a
sermon,
saying
that
he
didn't
understand
why
we
were
followed
in
private
too
(thank
God
we
went
to
demystify
this
incompetence)
and
saying
that
the
solution
to
be
sure
was
to
do
an
amniocentesis,
which
carries
a
huge
risk
for
the
baby.
The
rudeness
and
coldness
that
this
woman
showed
towards
us
was
inhumane.
Then
we
went
to
the
private
sector
to
clarify
all
this,
and
we
decided
to
do
a
DNA
blood
test
(without
risk
for
the
baby)
which
did
not
show
any
signs
of
trisomy.
Furthermore,
they
explained
to
us
that
the
symptom
that
Dr.
Ana
Cristina
Cunha
talked
about
has
not
even
been
considered
an
indication/marker
for
more
than
10
years.
This
only
proves
that
in
my
opinion
this
doctor
is
incompetent,
a
horrible
human
being
and
full
of
frustration.
If
I
had
to
guess,
she
is
single
and
has
no
children.
I
would
stay
away
from
Dr.
Ana
Cristina
Cunha!
The
experience
at
Maternidade
Júlio
Dinis
was
absolutely
horrible,
almost
entirely
due
to
the
incompetent
and
inconsiderable
Dr.
Ana
Cristina
Cunha.
After
my
wife
had
an
awful
experience
with
the
2nd
trimester
ultrasound,
which
was
carried
out
by
an
intern
and
not
a
doctor,
Doctor
Ana
Cristina
Cunha
said
there
was
a
growth
in
both
kidneys
that
could
mean
Trisomy
21/Down
Syndrome.
My
wife
naturally
got
agitated,
and
the
Dr.
said
"I
can't
speak
with
you
like
this,
go
calm
down
and
we'll
speak
in
30
minutes".
When
we
both
got
into
the
office,
she
started
scolding
my
wife
and
got
angry
because
we
were
being
looked
after
in
a
private
hospital
too
(our
blessing).
The
stupid
part
is
that
at
the
end
of
the
1st
semester,
we
did
a
blood+ultrasound
check
to
outline
any
possibilities
and
everything
was
good.
We
ended
up
checking
back
with
the
private
hospital,
and
did
a
DNA
blood
test,
and
everything
was
good.
This
had
all
been
a
false
alarm,
and
what
Dr.
Ana
Cunha
was
advising
was
an
amniocentesis,
which
has
a
huge
risk
for
the
baby.
In
my
opinion,
this
doctor
is
absolutely
incompetent,
and
a
horrible
human
being.
To
me
she
has
no
empathy,
no
humbleness
and
is
full
of
frustration.
I'd
guess
she's
single
and
has
never
had
kids.
