The Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans, also known as Circuit de la Sarthe (after the 1906 French Grand Prix triangle circuit) located in Le Mans, Sarthe, France, is a semi-permanent motorsport race course chiefly known as the venue for the 24 Hours of Le Mans auto race. Comprising private, race-specific sections of track in addition to public roads which remain accessible most of the year, its present configuration is 13.626 kilometres (8.467 mi) long, making it one of the longest circuits in the world. Capacity of the race stadium, where the short Bugatti Circuit is situated, is 100,000. The Musée des 24 Heures du Mans is a motorsport museum located at the main entrance of the venue. Up to 85% of the lap time is spent on full throttle, putting immense stress on engine and drivetrain components. Additionally, the times spent reaching maximum speed also mean tremendous wear on the brakes and suspension as cars must slow from over 320 km/h (200 mph) to around 100 km/h (60 mph) for the sharp corner at the village of Mulsanne.

Brilliant experience, amazing track! Great time. Few things to note if you are thinking about attending the event: - Bring good shoes to walk in, we camped and did 30000 steps a day. - Beer is fairly expensive (€8-€9 without cup charge (€2)) bring it on site in your backpack. - Lots of food stalls to choose from - Lots of other activities (sims, fun zone, team stalls, karting etc) - Limited number of merchandise stalls for team wear, get it online before. - Festival music in the evenings. - Lots of spectator areas, don’t need a grand stand seat, just take a foldable chair. - Buses run to different corners throughout the night (Mulsanne, Indianapolis/Arnage).

An amazing iconic, legendary track! There were some motorbikes using the circuit when we were there, so it was good timing! We were also able to drive down the Mulsanne straight, which was brilliant!

Without a doubt the greatest racing experience ever to see the 2022 Le Man's Race. A***** 10/10 I will definitely be attending every year that I am physically able to do so.

Awesome track for any petrol head to visit. Excellent museum full of racing legends and you can drive part of the circuit which is a public road.

This circuit is really a complex place to review. I went here for the 24hours of Le Mans, and have to say, that the experience was absolutely amazing. The track is, from a racing perspective, really exciting with a lot of history, and an iconic layout with some famous corners. There are so many corners however, that each should be evaluated on their own. And by attending the 24hrs of Le Mans, you will be at the circuit in the most busy event of the year - and it shows. The infrastructure around the track is a bit lack-luster, so be patient during the most "busy" hours, because you will be queing a lot, and often very tightly.

Fantastic place to visit. Not very big ( you can probably go round it in an hour if pushed for time) and you can also buy a circuit pass. Full of history and cars that raced. Opens at 10am

Words are never good at describing sacred grounds. Historical locations. Revered and hallowed grounds. Such a high honor to see the track. I can’t wait to visit during an event!

    Participating in the 24hours Le Mans Classic with 3 group C cars, a GT40 mk1 and a Lola t212. 1 pole position (gt40) 1 win (spice group C) and a 2nd place in the 24hours series (gt40) doesn't get much better😎💪🏆🇺🇸

Second time visiting and general experience was pretty good. The le mans classic is a must for historic racing. The only issues we come across was poor parking attendant knowledge and the lack of quick turn around camp plot finding at bleu Nord on arrival day. The venue itself is clean and tidy. Staff helpful. The classic boasts 8500 cars on display and around 350 racing. Took advantage of the paddock supplement this provides great access to the race teams and cars that are racing. During the day these areas can get very busy. Evening time is generally the best time to go for reduced footfall. Like most race tracks food is generally on the expensive side. To combat that grab snacks and beers from a local supermarket to reduce the outlay. You can't beat the noises and smells of classic cars running on the famous 24hr circuit. The buzz of the classic is like a huge celebration with everyone in good spirits ready for 3 days of celebrating Motorsports and manufactures.

Totally worth it. You should also check if you can get in free before paying for the entrance, since most of the time you can. They give you access to basically everything, so you can have perfect views of the people driving on the track.

This year there were an incredibel number of spectators, but for many people it is about 3 years since they have hed the opportunity to go there, anyway its very good everythings is back to normal and the race was fantastic. Fantastic races, something all men with a little bit of petrol in their blood should experience, I have been there many times but the race in 2021 was very special because not many spectators were admitted only 50,000 due to corvid 19 so it was easy to get around and buy food and beer. I will be back next time for sure. This year there were an incredibel number of spect

First time at Le Mans 24hr and what a time to go, it was the 100 year celebrations. If you are into cars then this is an amazing event to go to. To get the best out of your trip I would recommend you join or go with someone who has been there before to get the most out of all the events going on during race week. I went with friends who have been going for many year and know the area well , I certainly would have missed most of the peripheral events if it hadn't been for their knowledge of the area. We camped at the Porche curves so we had a good view of the race, depending on the booking you may be able to access other parts of the circuit during the 24hr race so your not tied to one location. Once the race is over the public roads that form part of the circuit are open to the public so if you're quick!!! you can run your car on it. We got on between Arnage corner and Porche Curves . What a finish to a fantastic weekend #LEMANS24 #nickthebufferdetailing

Amazing experience, and what a year to be there, the coming of IMSA prototypes, and the Garage 56 were super bright moves from the organisation. The ability to approach the staff and drivers is so unique, I think there's no other sport you could do that. Especially considering the price too, I'm very likely to return at some point However for fans sake make better indications on how to get to the train, as well as having decent toilets. Apart from that this was amazing, well different than following the race on TV.

Great Experience, the noise is awesome, the crowds , the atmosphere and well organised. Highly recommended, plan for 2024/5 ICE cars and Hydrogen super cars, ah, were are the triple A cars??? Oh yes they wont make it round the circuit on batteries.

Fantastic iconic circuit. Great race. Can be a bit expensive for food and drinks but that's totally expected. Plenty of viewing points with complementary coaches running throughout to bring you to the vantage points like Mulsanne corner and Indianapolis/Arnage corners.

I've been here many times and my father lives walking distance from the track. I love the noise and the smell of both the cars and the bikes, especially the noise of the cars at night during the 24 hours. I assisted once as a steward at the track side at night. Fantastic. And I ride bikes so being a part of the whole experience is great... nothing beats it.

It's always a great experience!!! This afternoon the pitch walk were closed but we enjoyed the beetles racing. Can't wait for Saturday. Its a racing place so there's toilet off course as clean as it is possible and options to get a bite is fries, hamburgers and crepe. Visited in August

Petrol head nirvana top of the list! In my opinion, the greatest car race in the world, ever! Nothing comes close to the 24 hr of Le Mans, I've been to Dubai, Nurburgring, Zolder, Spa and Silverstone 24 hour races and the are all good in their own way, but they ain't Le Mans!!! Cheapest campsite is Arnage followed by Mulsanne, cheapest ticket is the Arnage and Mulsanne ticket which gives access only two these two spectator areas, don't get me wrong if you are on a budget or have done the pit walk and grandstands then it's enough. If not buy the general ticket which gives you full access. The parade through the centre of Le Mans is good but it's seriously busy, three people deep in most places, getting to it is also not easy with a car. The museum is cool and worth going to. Find out what live bands are on usually on the midweek and Saturday night, I've seen UB40 and other fairly big bands play. Visit Arnage village on the Friday night, all the bars will be full. It used to be a mecca for cars to drive up and down the main drag doing crazy things but the Gendarmes are hot on it now. About 100 people drive and gather at the Indianapolis into Arnage section on the Sunday after the race when it turns back into a public road. Go to the public swimming pool it's cool has slides and a wave machine plus is a good way to get a shower. Don't speed on the way home on the Sunday night after the race, the French police are hot on it and will fine you massively and can confiscate your car, all of which costs a lot of money!
