I've been coming to Hillview for a lot of years, and it has changed for the better. Nice clean trails, and parks. It's a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle and camp. I've also kayaked and swim in the small pond, although there are times it's not the cleanest

A nice place to decompress and get out in nature. Has a nice trail system and the resident elk herd adds something you don't normally see. I've never camped here, but people must enjoy it since it always seems busy in the summer.

A very nice, clean public park. Nice facilities and amenities. Events year-round and very family friendly.

First of all, the conference center and picnic shelters and playgrounds are quite nice. My family has had events at all of these and its been great. I love the elk nearby as well and the trails are well kept. My only small complaint is the beach area as its quite muddy but I'm guessing its hard to deal with that. I also took my kayak out there and it was quite fun. Quite enjoyable for a small lake.

Hillview was beautiful tonight. Wildlife and flowers were in full view Man made frisbee golf, volleyball, playgrounds, shelters, and trials are well maintained. We were surprised to see new barbeque grills. My only complaint is the large pond was overcome by green algae making it unappealing for swimming.

It is one of the better campgrounds in the Siouxland area. Spacious sites with plenty of shade. We will definitely camp there again!

A nice secluded little recreational area to retreat to. Very clean and staff seem very active. Swimming area was full of algae and overgrown which was a bit disappointing but expected this time of year

Great place to camp. We were at the Beaver Creek site and we'll definitely be back.
