This Smorgasburg is not large like some of the other locations nearby but believe me, it’s totally worth it!!! The food is fresh, tasty, and you will go back for second helping. We went an hour and a half before they were closing they were packed and had a line. The whole time I was there they were bringing out fresh food and keeping everything stocked full of food. My only regret was not going back here to eat again, and wasting my time with other smorgasbords in the area. They came highly recommended by someone on YouTube who knows the area and now I’m passing on the word do yourself a favor and stop by here.

I can't say how disappointed I am, but not with Dienners, but rather with myself, for driving past this incredible buffet restaurant for so many years without stopping in. The buffet, although not fancy, features homemade fare that is both plentiful and delicious. And the price is much less than what you'd pay just down the street. My dad used to say that you know a good diner by the trucks parked out back. Well, in the case of Dienners, it's NOT a diner... but you know how good it is by how many locals... Amish and Mennonite and others... typically dine here. Highly recommended.

Dienner’s Country Restaurant offers delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner at a reasonable price. The food is always good and the customer service is amazing! The staff is super kind and show that they are genuinely appreciative of your business! We enjoy it so much we have eaten here three times in one week! Literally had breakfast, lunch and dinner here all in the same week. Joanna was one of our waitresses and she was very kind and attentive. We love Dienner’s! So good! Don’t miss this wonderful restaurant!

A very good place to eat if you like buffet style food. The salad bar was well stocked with fresh vegetables and a large selection of dressings. The clam chowder was good and had a lot of clam in it. The selection of hot foods was good. It was filling. They had two sugar free pies and I tried the Apple pie, it was delicious! 😋 We would go here again. Our waitress Miriam was outstanding.

Authentic PA Dutch food. The chicken was perfection, so moist and juicy! Brown butter noodles are so good! The chicken potpie was amazing. We had rolls with apple butter. So many options and not enough room in our stomachs! The desserts were great too. We had hot fudge cake, apple crisp and tapioca pudding. The waitress (Sadie) was super nice and friendly. Will definitely be back.

This restaurant was busy. We were told a 25 minute wait but maybe waited 15 minutes. Our whole experience was a good one. Clean, friendly, fresh, hot food.

SO DISAPPOINTED. Came in 2016 & 2018 and it was amazing. It felt like you were in the home of a local Amish family. Great atmosphere, great food, and an overall unique experience. I couldn’t wait to come back, so much that I insisted my out of town guests come back with me even though it is a 2.5 hour drive - and we waited ONE HOUR just to get in. There must be new management because now it is nothing more than another diner/nothing different than I could get in NJ. It has been remodeled and the older furniture/wood and antiques have all been removed for modern furnishings. Before it was clearly run by and the food was cooked by local Amish and Mennonite women. Today? Nothing. I didn’t see one Amish worker as they show on their website and I experienced before (maybe a Mennonite or two but no one Amish, which is the allure) any I even walked by to peak into the kitchen to be sure. Standard diner cooks. Worse, the homemade pies have been replaced by store bought pies and desserts. Food was also really mediocre, although the beef tips and gravy were still great. I was hoping to be a regular once/year customer but I’m sad to say I will never come back.

This is one of those places that are dangerous for me. Homemade food and all you can eat buffet at a decent price. You may also order off a menu if buffets are not your thing. I'm embarrassed to say how many desserts I had. Fortunately, the pies were sliced in reasonable sizes. If in the area, I would recommend a dining stop here.

Dinner is a must stop ever time when we come to Lancaster PA. This is not a big buffet but it has great food. This is what comfort food is. Simple yet tasty. Their peanut butter pie is a must get. Soooooo good!

Server was the least helpful I've seen the past few months as far as making recommendations and explaining the menu goes. Obviously, she disliked and treated visitors from different ethnic backgrounds differently, but she tried to show some fake politeness and smile. Food was good and healthy though. Get the buffet!!!! Almost everything on the menu is included in the buffet.

Pretty good for lunch. Price was around $14. Nice selection on the salad bar. Had a salad, then a plate with ham, sweet potatoes, green beans and roll. For dessert I had some type of Oreo pudding and hot fudge cake. All that was delicious and well worth the price. Couple things I didn’t care for. Service was friendly but not that great. Although it was crowded so that has to be factored in. It’s a small place and being crowded it was very hard to move around the buffet and seating areas. Food wise I was looking forward to chicken pot pie, but it was just chicken and dumplings. Not sure if that’s the way it’s done in that area but there were no vegetables or crust in it which is what I think of. Like I said, it’s certainly worth the price. I wouldn’t be opposed to coming back, but would rather spend the $4 extra and go to bird in hand smorgasbord to get a little bigger selection and more room to move around.
