Great small campground in great location within Custer St Park. Electric only hookups so make sure you have water when you come. Nice restroom with showers. Hosts keep bathrooms spotless. Legion lake and Lodge directly across hwy.

Beautiful campground! Electric only sites, clean area, love the woods, bathroom and showers in the loop, short walk is the lake (across the loop) with a store and restaurant. Our second time here and just wish we lived closer! Hiking trail in loop and one around the lake, there is also a playground for the kiddos.

Legion Lake Campground is one of our favorite places to visit as a family. With close proximity to the lake where you’re able to catch monster trout, to the clean bathrooms, it is a campground that checks off all the boxes. Bill and Nancy are the most phenomenal campsite hosts and go above and beyond to provide an amazing camp experience. Kudos to them for being outstanding in their field.

Nice campground, the lake across the road is beautiful. Can easily hike around it and kayaking on it is great. Had a Buffalo visit the campground the night we were there, not to mention whitetail deer in the mornings. Camp hosts were very nice.

Our camp hosts were the sweetest people and were very knowledgeable about the park when we asked a few questions. The campground was spotless as were the bathrooms! The sites were level which made pitching our tent for the first time an easy task. With a fairly central location in the park and right across from Legion Lake, you couldn't ask for more!
