TL;DR Zero stars, do not stay here, safety risk. I was traveling with a family member and we had separate rooms. The person I was with was booked in a suite but was told it wasn't available and they gave him regular room. Once checked in to his regular room he let know the window in his room was left open and to check mine. Well mine was closed but the window lock was missing so there was no way to lock the window. This is a room that is ground level and faces the parking lot so a major safety issue. I talked to the person working the front who to be fair was very nice. She offered to try and get in touch with the maintenance person but couldn't tell me when they would show up or if they would show up at all. I asked for a different room but was told they were booked, but there were only 8 cars on the parking lot and that seemed strange. Well turns out the entire upstairs (where the suites are at) was being painted. We checked the website and they were still allowing you to book a suite even though that entire floor was closed. I decided it was such a safety risk that we needed to cancel and stay someplace else. We told the front desk person and she told us we would still be charged. I told her that you can't expect me to stay in a room with a non locking window as that is a major safety risk to myself (plus my possessions) and I would just do a charge back if they didn't agree to cancel. They relented and said they would cancel. Also the pool is drained and they told us it would not be reopened because they wanted the space to add more arcade games.....doesn't make any sense to me either.

One star is one too many. Can't believe that Wyndham associates themselves with this place. Should have read the reviews and not base it on the star system. Booked through Expedia (refunded). Checked in and went to our room. Stained sheets. Went back to the front desk and got another room. The new room smelled like smoke. This is a non-smoking hotel. Apparently, the staff is aware of this and nothing can be done to rectify this issue, despite deep cleaning (so they said). The pool is drained and permanently closed. Why are they still listing it as an option? STAY AWAY. This is a sub-$100 "hotel" at best. Checked out and got a room at Best Western in Hulett. Highly recommended.

Booked on Priceline. It says there is a pool but The pool is completely drained and has been closed for quite some time per the front desk staff. They did offer to let me cancel but after working a 12-hour day I was exhausted and didn't want to have to drive around looking for another room. Just because the staff is nice, doesn't mean the hotels were staying in. This hotel is dirty and dated. Many broken and worn things in my room. When you walk on the carpet, your feet feel dirty. The bathroom floor is sticky. The garbage wasn't emptied. I had to leave it out my front door. At least my sheets were clean. I can't believe this is a Wyndham. The hotel is connected to a Pizza Ranch and next door to a convenience store and conveniently located right off of i-90.

Bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs, black mold, leaky bathroom ceiling dripping on you from above bathroom toilet. this place is a filthy dump. Do not book this place, we were there in October 2023 while passing through on a long driving trip looking for some rest and OMG what a dump. We complained which fell to deaf ears at the hotel, then complained to Wyndham who basically has told us to screw off. They told us we had a choice, we could have slept in our truck! They don't care, stay away from this place and all Wyndham hotels, because if you have an issue, they won't do anything about it accept keep your money. We reported to the south dakota department of health and hopefully something gets done.
