A fabulously scenic location for all the family. Fronting onto and around Derwent Reservoir, there are many walking paths to explore as well as a roadway circulating the Reservoir. Well worth a visit for all the family.

Good parking with large overspill field. The machine does only allow coins (1.5£ per first two hours) The play area is very good, but very busy in warm days. Big play sand area for little ones! Dog field is huge and a great run around area for the pooches. Very little shade in playground on a hot day. There is grill area on site.

Stopped here whilst on our Nland250 campervan trip, was lovely to stretch the legs and see such a clean tidy place for dog walkers, cyclists and much more to visit. Would definitely reccomend stopping if you're passing by. Campervans can stay in the car park over night for a £10 fee which is payable at the ticket machine... carpark was big and very quiet.

Our first visit. We contacted the venue via their website and had swift and helpful answers to our queries. Easy access from the A69. There are modern clean toilets and a small shop and cafe. The cafe is self-service and has a limited range of chocolate bars and snacks etc. Dogs are welcome in the cafe area. Plenty of outside seating. Large level xar park. No height barriers. Self contained motorhomes are permitted to park overnight for £10. £1.50 for 2 hours. A much smaller upper car park is available too. Great play area, dog excerise area and picnic benches. Lovely peaceful walks available around the reservoir. Fishing available by permit. Well worth a visit.

Why are humans drawn to water? Is the peace is the sounds of nature or that magnum for 2.60 LoL!! Now be warned unlike everywhere else carparking is strictly analogue coins only 1.50 for two hours. I put 2 in same two hours no change kerching!?? Big play park for kids and lots of fishing goings on. No route round lake as yacht club blocks you off and the nice cafe has gone the other side but hey bring some sandwiches. Loads of lapwings today and others I can't name!!!

Beautiful place for a dog walk and a picnic and the grounds are kept in very good order. With the added bonus of a gift shop serving drinks and snacks! I wish there was more in the way of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and would love to see that in the future.

Went to the pumpkin picking today, staff were fantastic, facilities are immaculate and the pumpkin patch was lovely. Very relaxed, no rush to do the activities and lots of selection of pumpkins. Then spent a few hours in the play area to make a very full day of it!
