Authentic & Delicious! Hands down the best /only truly Greek food in the area (tried them all and was extremely disappointed) Had the chicken souvlaki dinner, delicious lemony grilled flavors, the potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside, the salad is perfect and you know it's legit when the feta is sheep's feta (no real Greek restaurant would serve cows feta!) Am happy to stay this will be my regular spot!

I guess I ordered food on an off day or something, as the beef in my pita was downright gross. It was charred but also had some other odd flavor that I can't put my finger on. The meat was also very stringy and tough. The hummus was thick and mealy, as well, though it did have a very good garlicky taste to it. The fries were fantastic, but not good enough to make up for the rest of the food. Also, the person at the counter literally tied my food in the bag and threw it on the pickup shelf. The gesture was so off putting that I didn't even realize it was my food until he brusquely told me as much. I won't return here.

Truly delicious and definitely an authentic experience. Had the gyros sandwich with roasted potatoes and it was amazing. The customer service was excellent, several customers came in and Fabio knew them all by name. Will definitely be coming back to try more items from the menu!

Good food. HORRIBLE treatment. I usually don't write bad reviews but after looking through the other bad reviews on here I've realized the mean treatment from the "older gentleman" go back a few years. He actually followed my staff and I out of the restaurant because one of them didn't tip and said "I won't be wasting my time on you"! We have been dining here for years but will not be returning. Bad reviews about a mean man behind the counter run back for years....he's ruining the establishment and I can't understand why he's still there. Sad part is the food is actually pretty great.

I will definitely be back. This felt like a neighborhood Greek place where everyone was welcome! I was able to substitute one of my sides for a different one with no problem and the 4 things we tried (Tiropita, Falafel wrap, beef-lamb gyro, and baklava) were all amazing. You could tell they were made with care.

Words just can describe this place. I can't believe we haven't been here already. Shown is the appetizer sampler which I couldn't stop eating. The lamb and potatoes also pictured was absolutely finger licking and rib sticking comfort food. And to top it all was these 2 scrumptious cookie things I know that gentleman told me what they was but I think he Undersold this place. Highly recommended and I mean multiple times we'll most likely see each other there. I gotta try everything, last pictured was 2 other plates about to be served I just snapped because look at that if you could smell that picture right now.... oh my goodness

Really good food. Portions are great. Price is average compared to other Greek restaurants. I had the gyro (beef and lamb) with fries. The flavor was great. Didn't see kids meals. My friends ordered: Salad, lentil soup, potatoes, and hummus, which were all good.

Pretty good food, had the beef and lamb gyro and it was very good. Fries were pretty good too. We also tried the appetizer for two (not pictured) and it was interesting. Lots of flavors. Service was fast and they were playing Star Wars on tv lol. Would come back to try more dishes

Surprisingly good. We ordered 3 different lunch specials and they were all amazing. The potatoes and salad were delicious as well as the gyros. The chocolate baklava was decadent. There was one man handling the entire restaurant and he was on point. Will definitely return.

Food is always fresh & delicious. Service is great. Friendly staff. The lemon chicken soup is super tasty if you like lemon. There are lots of Greek places around but the food here is the best in my opinion.

I've never had anything from here that I didn't really enjoy and I have a tough time deciding. But also, if the only thing I ever ate for the rest of my life was the lemon and chicken soup, I would be happy. I always get to go and the guy that is usually at the front is always super nice, even when he's clearly being pulled in a lot of different directions.

The most delicious Greek food around the Clear Lake and Houston area. The Lamb was so juicy and delicate. Perfect for date nights or for a quick bite to eat for lunch. The prices are reasonable and the portions are just right!! I highly recommend this place!!!!

The lamb and potatoes were too salty. Green beans and vegetarian burger were wonderful. The waiter/ cashier/ bus boy was a 1 man show! I'm not sure how he did all he did by himself and was so good at at all!

I’ve seen reviews about a rude server and maybe we just haven’t gotten him but our server (same one everytime) has been absolutely amazing ! He makes small talk and is very attentive as well as fills our water without us even asking. The food is AMAZING. I would go there just to get the pita bread lol but I usually get the fried shrimp. It is beyond soft in the middle and the crust is perfect , the salads are also very flavorful and they never skimp on the feta or dressing . Overall this place is well worth it and me and my boyfriend keep coming back for more :)

We frequented this place for years. The food has been great. The service is so horrible that I can’t describe it. The fellow who waits tables, handles cashiering, and works take out is a BIG problem. He has been rude and abrupt for years. We overlooked him because the food was great. So we stopped eating in and began ordering to go. Still could not avoid him, but at least we limited the contact. Even then for the past few years his unfriendly attitude and abrupt manner has been tolerated. We have attempted to be overly nice and sensitive to him, even attempting small talk with little or no response. He seems to dislike everyone equally. On the last 6 trips I have made there he has become increasingly rude, even hostile. But the last time was the ultimate abuse. I entered, placed my to go order, and expecting more of his abruptness I complimented him on how he ran the tables and take out. He actually seemed offended that I spoke to him. I simply moved aside and waited patiently as usual. Unbelievably, he coldly asked if I wanted a “drink” while waiting. I was stunned! What a breakthrough! I smiled and asked him, “water or tea OK?” He said ,”Yesa.” (He adds an “a” to most words.). I thanked him and poured myself some tea. Thinking that there was actually SOME niceness under his demeanor, I figured that the owner must see something that customers did not. As I sat at the table waiting, he stepped out from behind the cash register, walked toward my table, stopped three feet away, produced another check for me, bent forward, and tossed the check on my table. Very derisively he forced a smile and sarcastically said to me, “I SAIDA WATERA! YOU MUSTA PAY FORA THE TEA!” He abruptly turned and walked away. I was stunned. When he told me my order was ready, I picked it up and meekly said,”I’m sorry, but I distinctly asked, “Water OR tea?”” He said “No, I saidaTEA!” I smiled, paid for the tea, and left. The owner should have stopped this behavior years ago. Enough is enough. I won’t return even though I continue to receive invites and discounts. What the owner needs to know is that his employee’s actions over the tea incident have cost him dearly. This last affront can’t be overlooked any longer, even by sending me a monthly invite with discounts. I can only wonder how much business Sokols would have if a bit of courtesy and friendliness were offered along with good food??? I service the public every day. I NEVER have treated a customer in this rude and sarcastic manner. And, by the way, I am 78 years old!

The food is always fresh and made in its own unique recipe. Never have I enjoyed eating Greek food as much as when I'm at Sokol's! Their Guro meat is unearthly good and its staple secret recipe comes out the same way EVERY SINGLE TIME! Not only can I go on and on about the food, but the one thing that might top it is the service! The staff and owner are always so sweet and make sure that their customers are comfortable and taken care of. Always ready to help and quick at that too! Their also always open to sparking a good conversation and just being friendly. I'll say, being someone from a small city that was always community oriented and service minded, this makes me feel at home! I love eating here everytime... but my only request/complaint is that you guys may need to get the place updated... PLEASE!! 😂❤️

Food is fresh and delicious! They are very accommodating when ordering gluten free. Low-key inside with excellent service. I just had the lemon chicken, and it was flavorful, moist, and so so tasty.

We love this neighborhood restaurant and have been coming for years. Everything always tastes fresh. Our waiter was great and we were a party of 9 this time around.

My first time eating at Sokols Greek in Clear Lake. WOW, my chicken gyro plate was fantastic! My waiter Chris was great, friendly and provided outstanding customer service. I definitely recommend this place! Jerry Morales

Fantastic as always. Been going here for years, quality never waivers. Hard to not get the gyro platter when we come in. Tried the meatball sub. Been a while since I found one this good. I worked at a Greek restaurant for 3 years that unfortunately didn't survive the pandemic. I had been craving authentic Greek food for YEARS! My mother introduced me to this place and I fell in love. I had the tiropita, skordalia, and avgolemono soup and it was all DELICIOUS!!! I am so grateful to have found this place and I urge you to try it.

Bring the good hot sauces back! All the bottles are empty or just junk sauce. This place used to have excellent hot sauces… don’t let that fall off, Sokols!!!!!
