This was the first place we decided to stay while visiting Houston. The deco was recently updated to a more modern look. Some of the rooms were also being updated, but we couldn't hear any work being done. The front desk was really nice and we were put into our room at the time expected. The room was spacious. We absolutely loved the bed, which is hard to say when traveling but the bed was so comfortable and so were the pillows that it makes me want to update my mattress when I get home and I just bought it. The bathroom was spacious and the stand up shower was nice. I wish the shower head was a little taller and was a better quality. It was the only thing in the bathroom that looked outdated. There was also a gym and a pool on property as well. The next morning, breakfast was complimentary and let me say I've never seen a setup for breakfast like this before unless you're at a restaurant. They had a lot, too much to name all, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, make your own waffles, fruits, juices, coffee, bagels, muffins, granola, pancakes, eggs, etc... it was impressive!!! Hands down best breakfast setup I've seen at any hotel I've stayed at. This is a place I would definitely return to and it's located close to everything we wanted to visit. If your visiting NASA and looking for a hotel to stay, I highly recommend staying here.

Hotel room reeked of mildew, bathroom smelled strongly of cat urine and the bedding was not soft, felt starched and pressed. They cleaned my room, but never replenished things like soap, shampoo, conditioner or lotion like they would at other Hampton Inns I've stayed at. Instead I had to ask for these things at the front desk where they would apprehensively give them to me. I'm also very confident that when they clean bedding and towels they do the minimum amount of work required, really not doing well to add to the cleanliness of the place. Needless to say I will not be staying here my next time in Seabrook. I'd rather sleep in my truck.

My family and I were in town for a family gathering and we stayed one night. I called the morning we were arriving to ask if we can check in earlier if possible. The front desk lady said the earliest they can get me in is at 2pm. Which was fine. We ended up arriving shortly after 2pm. Upon arrival, the parking lot was small but walking in it was very pretty and clean. However, there was no one at the front desk. A few moments later, a lady walked up from the sitting area where breakfast is held. She wasnโ€™t very warm and friendly as I would expect being the face of Hampton In, but she did have the room ready and we were able to check in with no issues at all. Walking into our room it smelled cleaned and was very tidy. Honestly, one of the best Hampton inns I have stayed at. It was more modern and had very high ceilings. The AC worked very well, we had no issues. We were on the first floor near the side exit door and when we tried entering in through there with our room key it was not working which was not convenient as we were unloading our things. We had breakfast and it was very good! My son loved the cookies that were put out on the reception desk. Overall, I would recommend The Hampton inn in Seabrook and would come back if we are ever in town again. The hotel is located near many restaurants and grocery stores.

We arrived at the hotel at 7:40pm after a 7 hour drive. The room had a horrible, very strong chemical smell. It was unbearable and certainly not fit for a guest stay (at least not to Hilton standards). I requested another room but the receptionist didn't appear very interested in our problem. She said that there were no other rooms available and left it at that. There was absolutely no effort on her part to solve the problem, and continually mentioned that it was not her fault but that of housekeeping. She promptly checked us out and left it to me to find us other accommodation. As mentioned, this happened late in the evening after we spent 7 hours on the road and were very tired. This was the worst experience I ever had at any hotel, yet alone from all my stays at any Hilton.

Left here pretty upset, I called ahead to make sure this hotel could accommodate a late check out at 2:30 pm as we had a wedding we needed to get ready for. At 12:30 we received a call stating we needed to get out unless we wanted to be charged for another night. I tried explaining to her we got permission from the front desk the night prior and she was not having it. I told her we had a wedding to get ready for and no where to do that, and she again stated if we stayed in the room we would be charged another entire night. I told her we would leave. Not five minutes later she came knocking on our door telling us we needed to leave. I told her we needed two more minutes to do a final walk through of the room as we had just finished packing. Not happy that there were no notes stating we had late checkout. It really put a damper on our trip. AC was not working right either.

Super clean and up to date decor! Staff was super friendly and we were very happy with the accommodations. View was less than perfect but it was not a deal breaker. Breakfast was continental but staff worked hard in keeping it stocked and clean. Enjoyed this location and I would stay here again!

This was a weekend getaway for our 1st anniversary. The third floor smelled like paint and sewer water. Paint chips on the floor. The shower didnโ€™t really get hot. At 8 am the fire alarms kept going off. Eventually everyone one was asked to leave the hotel. We were allowed to go back in 30 minutes later. The best thing about our stay was the breakfast.

Alot better than the Hilton down the street, there the hallway and rooms look older-not worth the price. Here at the Hampton, everything looks more new or modern, the beds are firm, quiet hallways, See if my pic shows up. Good breakfast 6 to 10am. Everyone on staff is nice and helpful. If i had to be picky about any negative things, it would be the pool (3ft- 5ft deep) is open until 10pm but no lights underwater like at other hotel pools, they Only have lights by the outdoor tables. There's Seafood restaurant across the street from hotel but try to go in a vehicle, the street has 6 lanes...

This is one of our favorite places to stay. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because on one of our stays the shower didn't work, which we did not realize until the morning of checkout and nothing could be done. The second reason is I really don't care for the egg omelets. There are plenty of secondary options, fruit, waffles, cereal and oatmeal along with pastries sometimes. I prefer a hot breakfast and the scrambled eggs were better than the omelets. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. I stay here probably 4-5 nights a month.

We try to always stay at Hampton Inn because they are clean and nice rooms. Only complaints are this hotel was very very close to the road so a lot of noise from traffic. Also there was a very bright light shining on the front of the hotel that was super annoying and it stayed on all the time. That said be sure to get a room on the back of this hotel.

Took a minute for the front desk lady to greet us but itโ€™s because she was working hard on getting a mattress situated for a guest. An inviting and neat NASA/space styled hotel with just exactly what you need for a pleasant stay. Rooms were nice and clean. Pets are allowed!

Hotel was quite nice. Redecorating was done very well. Gym was good. Breakfast was good. Had to ask for the pool to get unlocked every morning. We never got a code for the pool washrooms. We couldnโ€™t get anyone to refill the water in the hotel gym.

Hotel is located a couple of miles from the Kemah Boardwalk. It is clean and the staff friendly. The rooms are typical Hampton Inn. The negative was my first room the television did not work. I had to change rooms, and in the next room the temperature control in the shower would only deliver hot water. Perhaps I was unlucky, but one has to wonder.

When we tried to check in, the desk clerk was a cold and devoid of personality as wet towel. And there were great big signs on the front of the hotel saying no open carry allowed, and no concealed carry allowed. Any establishment that wants to deprive me of my constitutional right to protect myself does not deserve my business. Just find another place to stay.

Very nice hotel but we were given a room with a cement wall in front of the window after requesting water view and they were replacing floors in the room next to us which we were not informed of, so starting at 9am and lasting until after 5pm, all we heard was the pounding of mallets/hammers and we had no opportunity to relax. We canceled the rest of our stay and feel that our 1 night should be refunded as we had absolutely no quiet while on our vacation. Ridiculous.

Love staying at this Hampton Inn. We Always stay here at least oce a year during our Anniversary, Aug. 1st. Everything is so clean and all the Staff is so considerate. We enjoyed the Full Breakfast. My husband has too watch his cholestrol, so we brought our own Egg subsitutes to microwave since the Breakfast is not Cholestrol friendly. Thank you again for a Wonderful family and Anniversary stay. Eddie & Celisa Johnson-Ft. Worth, Tx.

Upon arriving the smell of mildew/rancid was overwhelming. There wasn't anyone at the check in counter. She finally got up from her seat in the lounge area. I kindly asked about the smell & she had a blank look on her face & bacame a bit stand offish. It's not her fault. However, after returning from a night out we wanted to wind down & watch some TV as we never do. Well, the remote only worked on volume. My husband called the front desk to troubleshoot & was told that maintenance wasn't available. So disappointing especially after my husband went down to check in to ask for batteries & still didn't work! We were looking forward to this mini vacation with no hiccups! This is a bad start...for sure!

Hampton Inn is a fabulous hotel! It has a delicious breakfast buffet with waffles and fresh cut fruit. It has warm and welcoming helpful staff members at the front desk. In our double queen bed suite, there was a coffee machine, a desk, and a small closet. Thereโ€™s a gym and an outdoor pool here! The only reason I took off one star is because it doesnโ€™t have a view of anything, nor are there locks on the bathroom doors.

Great team in the lobby both at check-in and check-out. First assigned room had electrical issues, but we received a better room without hassle. Breakfast was included and tasty.

This was a really great location. Close to Nasa and Kemah. There was also plenty of food options nearby. The staff were really helpful and kind. This place was also really clean. Disinfecting wipes were provided in the dining area and sanitizer by the elevator. Breakfast is a real breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, breads, juice, coffee and milk. The rooms are small but there is a mini fridge. The bedding was not very comfortable even my kids complained. They end up using blankets from the car. The kids swam in the pool every evening and they provided towels which was a plus. We would stay here again because of the location, staff and breakfast. We would just bring our own blankets.

I arrived to have a relaxing weekend before I am admitted for another procedure. The service representative (Emily) decided to question my health condition as to confirm my ADA status for my service dog. Understandably inquiring to a degree but asking "what is your condition?" THATS NOT Legally acceptable. Mind you, not only do I have a certified ID for the dog but it's illegal for her to inquire about medical conditions. I did disclose and even was willing to call my doctor to speak with her. I informed her that she cannot legally inquire about my status and she said she could. I'm offended and annoyed. I will never visit this location again. They have no respect for anyone with a disability so I hope they have respect for my veteran husband because he's calling the manager to get this addressed. I only told the representative about one of my conditions. Just an update: I decided to go and inquire about the questions they generally ask. This morning representative asked THE APPROPRIATE questions but she had to step about 2 to 3 feet away to find them. This leads me to believe that the team here is trained appropriately but Emily may have made just a common mistake that many do when trying to recall questions. I'm not done with ordeal but I'm more empathetic that she may have made a mistake. Regardless, mistakes or not, I did tell her that is illegal to ask me and I will be moving forward with ensuring corporate steps in and the local ADA is advised of this matter. "When traveling with a service animal, according to the ADA, the hotel staff only has the right to ask you two questions; โ€ข Is your dog a service dog? โ€ข What task(s) does your service dog provide?" Please note that the facility was lovely and all staff, even imposing and disrespectful Emily, appeared to be helpful. I would not recommend anyone coming here due to my experience but if that never occurred then this truly would have been lovely.
