It is worth the drive to this place. I spent 5 hours driving round trip just to visit this museum, and it certainly did not disappointed me. Instead, it nourished my soul and spirit, that I left the museum 3 hours later with a great energy. Beautiful pieces! Small enough to see in under 2 hours, and although if you like art, you can spend 3 hours like I did, enjoying some beautiful creativity glass art. I am not going to post photos of the ones that I adore, but just some idea of what you will find. They are absolutely some incredible pieces, some changing colors depending from where one looks at them. They even have an exhibit of glass art about alien life! I highly recommend this museum. I certainly will be back.

Well worth the visit. We’ve been twice now and would go again. It doesn’t take long to see it all but you can go as slow as you want. I didn’t see little kids there and I don’t recommend this for them. It’s so tempting to want to touch the pieces - even for adults. I can’t imagine managing a child at this museum. There are pieces from all over the world. Many interesting applications and art forms. Looking forward to next time.

Really worth the visit! This carefully curated modern art museum specializing in glass from artists around the world will delight almost anyone. You are able to get close to most pieces and walk around them, taking in the glass from different perspectives. The free audio tour available on your own phone is insightful and well produced. Also, the staff are simply wonderful and genuinely want to share the collection with guests, eager to answer any questions.

WONDERFUL. Would recommend this over and over again. Surprised at how much I enjoyed this as I’m not the biggest museum person and I struggled a little in the beginning to completely appreciate just how incredible these works of art are. It is also quite interesting that many of these are fairly recent created in 2010s vs. most museums being so incredibly historical. The modernness of this museum is a breathe of fresh air and forces you into creative thought. Want to go back!! You also can pick up and take home small note cards located sporadically throughout the museum consisting of inspirational/thought provoking quotes from Buddha, etc.

The staff was incredibly friendly. When you walk through the door, someone is always ready to assist you. The museum itself is quite fun. I just happened to be across the street when I wanted to check it out. The first floor has a treasure hunt game for you to enjoy while you browse. I like that they added both visuals and auditorial experiences. You can also get an audio tour. Each room presents a different dynamic. Some rooms are simply dazzling to the eye. It inspired me with my inner child's interior design aspirations. They have two floors. I really did love the art work. It is a treasure to have here in St Pete.

A lovely place to see various collections of glass arts. Must visit place. Well maintained and helpful staff. Visited the museum using 5$ entry of September 2023 offer. Good to get few souvenirs from their Store too.

Beautiful facility with a wide range of exhibits. Staff were available and friendly, imparting tidbits of information without being intrusive. I was amazed at how many pieces were in the museum - the first floor featured American artists while upstairs showcased international works. Definitely a must go to for anyone wanting to add a little culture into their day.

Absolutely wonderful galleries and pieces. The entire experience is conveyed across two floors. Tickets are only $5 on Sundays, but I would gladly pay the full price ($15). I had no idea glass could take on so many textures and appearances. This museum has inspired me to study the medium in greater detail. It might not be best with small children, because the pieces are out in full-display. But a properly behaved teenager might be acceptable. The pieces are spaced out enough, But you can never be too careful. We parked on the side of the street and didn't pay. However there is a parking lot behind the museum.

Amazing glass art museum. Beautiful and mind blowing exhibits with a cool gift shop (items in price from $5 and up). Well worth the entry fee. I attended on a Tuesday night and they had live music and wine. There was also a scavenger hunt on the top floor among the exhibit rooms which was fun. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Good vibe and a very relaxing evening. I’d highly recommend going.

The Imagine Museum is so breath taking! I can't believe how many beautifully striking pieces of glass art are in this museum. There certainly is more than enough to see to make it worth the admission price. If you have less than 1.5-2 hours of time to go see it, I also think the evening hours are worth looking at, which is what my group decided to do. They have discounted admissions to go view the museum from 5-8 pm on certain days. It's so worth coming in, especially with the free parking in their parking lot, within a busy city!

Didn't know i liked glass until i visited this Museum. They had entry for front line workers for a short time and fortunate enough to get complimentary entry. The team at the museum were helpful and inviting. Happy to meet them. Sample pics so visitors have a snippet of what they have. But they do change i think. Allow shopping time and $ in their gift 🎁 shop.

Gorgeous contemporary glass museum. A large collection with every piece being unique. I saw at least one Chihuly piece. Admission is only $5 after 5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Otherwise it’s only $15 for adults and $10-$13 for all others above age 6. They are only closed on Mondays.

What an amazing place to get immersed in the creative world of glass. Learning about glass artists from around the world was eye opening. The two floors divided into small galleries were easy to navigate and access even by someone with a walker. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The scavenger hunt was a great added component to get more immersed into the art. Super idea!!! The gift shop has incredible and unique pieces. We got to meet the artist of one of the pieces we bought and heard about her technique. Quite fascinating and special!

Such a truly special place! Filled to the brim with unique and beautiful pieces of art, I cannot recommend Imagine Museum enough. I believe this is one of the best museums I have visited and at only $15 a ticket, this is one of the best financial deals around as well. You will have a wonderful time visiting this museum!

Extraordinary. Staff are friendly and helpful as you navigate the museum. I found myself taking at least an hour on each of the floors. Incredible work. Enjoyed the international tour which is on the second floor Wednesdays at 3pm. The gift shop is exquisite. Definitely a must when in town. The only down side is the adherence to the mask mandate :-(. There were about 5 ppl total?? "Imagination is more important than knowledge."~~~~ Einstein What will be. Will be.

Got a Groupon here. It was actually tons of fun and very beautiful to see all the different art works. There's a lot of diversity and different mediums and details that make the glass really stick out and be unique. They have a little scavenger hunt too which is usually animals but since it's the holidays it's tiny little themed glass deserts. Got some little glass animals too

Took the day off and decided to hit a museum in the St Petersburg Florida area. After looking at a bunch of places online I decided to hit the imagine museum contemporary glass art exhibit. I'm so happy that we did because it is a beautiful museum. The grounds outside was very nicely kept. Once entering into the facility it was very light open and bright. The people that the counter that helped us was extremely pleasant. A lot of very nice and interesting pieces to look at. It's not a very large museum but at the same time it's not small. The cost to get in was very reasonable and worth it. I will be coming back to see additional exhibits.

We chose to go in on a Sunday (the month of May they are doing $5 Sundays, which I think is a great deal). This place is awesome as well as informative. Several galleries and it’s two stories. You do not have to pay for street parking either because they have their own lot! Lots of cool things to see here

Magnificent art. Breathtaking glass that’s curated in such a way that each room gives one a different experience from sublime and austere to mystical and “liquid.” My heart was pounding from the excitement I experienced. Do go!

Always interesting, each visit is unique because the displays are always changing and so it is never the same twice. Small and intimate yet rich with the variety of works displayed, there is plenty to enjoy without being overwhelmed. Imagine Museum also provides amenities to ensure visitors are comfortable such as strategically available seats and water fountains with cold water and clean restrooms. The gift shop is also lovely.

We loved to experience the glass museum. We got to see many beautiful pieces of art on display. Definitely a must to visit if you are in town. If you LOVE art of any sort, definitely visit!

Addition St Petersburg treasure. The Imagine museum is dedicated to Contemporary American Studio glass. Currently the museum is home to more than 500 pieces of American Studio glass and represents over 55 artists and 55 years who were and are integral to the development of this Medium as a fine art form. In addition to the regular exhibit there are always traveling exhibits. This is really a treat for the eye and the imagination. Everything from the beautiful to the whimsical. It can really be enjoyed by all ages

If you have any appreciation of art this glass museum is a must see. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!. There are such a variety of styles from artists all over the world from geometric designs to cast glass to laminated to blown and etched to paperweights. I was totally awed by what these folks can do in this medium. There is something for everyone here. And the work is set up by glass artists who know how to display the creations in the best light. I'll be back... Pics are only a small representation of what is on display.

The museum is bigger than expected. As you walk through the first floor the pieces are incredible, only to get to the second floor where they are just as amazing. It is fun to take pictures of this glass art, every piece is photogenic.

Amazing place that should be on "Must See" list in St. Petersburg. Friends recommended to visit Imagine museum and we were so happy that we went. Great and friendly people that work here and amazing collection of art should be enough to go and visit this museum. Highly recommend.

Extensive glass collection and very interesting curation. It was my first visit, but won’t be my last. I’m told the selection changes constantly, only 10% of their collection is exhibited at one time. Combine it with lunch or dinner, and you have a perfect outing!

We had such a delightful evening attending the Sunset event here!! I can't thank Adam at Pacini Glass enough for his demonstration which mesmerized our granddaughter. He even gave her a work of his, a seahorse she treasures. This event was mostly outside vendors, beautiful handmade items, food as well as a Food Truck. Inside this spectacular Museum is a gift shop where you'll find gorgeous pieces of glass and displays that will bring you joy. I can't wait to come back. The staff couldn't be nicer. I also found a Murano cherry that will delight a family member for her birthday. A truly great experience.

I really enjoyed our visit to the museum. There were some truly stunning art pieces and the scavenger hunt on the second floor was fun. Particularly liked an installation called Siblings. And my favorite was a cube of glass with mirrors that felt like looking into an infinite maze. My photo doesn’t do it justice. Really would love to go back some day and have been told that they change out the pieces displayed which would be well worth a return visit.

Beautifully curated works of glass. It’s absolutely spectacular. So much beauty for the eyes to see and the soul to feel and experience. I’ve gone several times and each visit is different because I notice something new and it just puts a smile on your face. Take the whole family like we did and then go alone. I highly recommend.

My wife and I loved this unique museum. She is normally reluctant to visit museums where I love to spend hours, but she (and I) thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite beauty and impressive nature of the wide variety of glass sculpture and cast works. An amazing combination of creative art and intriguing physics and optics. The museum staff were friendly and enthusiastic and there was even a fun scavenger hunt. I highly recommend this art museum, you'll surely love it! Great for young toddlers on up, just be careful with the little ones not touching the works.

This museum has magnificent works of art by various glass artists. I was blown away by the intricate artwork - I never imagined some of this work was possible using glass. I hope you find it as enjoyable as I did. Then I went to the pier area and had lunch overlooking the bay. I was a perfect day of relaxation.

A great two-story building filled with multiple galleries and styles. The glass was beautifully lit, easy to get right up to and I especially enjoyed that most all pieces could be seen from all sides. The location is easy to find. A large free parking area is directly adjacent to the building. We used a discount for area residents for our tickets. I standard price is $15 and comes in lower than a many of the other museums in the area. Good for the budget. I did not expect to find so many pieces to view. The multiple galleries are arranged by style or artist. There is whimsical to ethereal. It's hard to even describe all the different styles and techniques on display. I was very pleased and my group all truly enjoyed the visit with each of us stating we would return and would be encouraging others to visit this museum. It is not stuffy or pretentious. There is no need-to-know art history or have any specific style of interest. If you like light, and color, and textures, there is something here for you to enjoy. Bathrooms were clean, the gift shop has a large range of things to shop for. Truly one of the better museum experiences I've had in some time. Highly recommended.

Stunning visual museum. Very intuitive user-friendly layout thats easy to navigate and the art makes you want to walk in the building forever. There’s videos and text to provide background and information about artists and specific works as well. There could be less motivational quotes (it was cute at first but got overbearing near the end of my visit). Also, I wish there was more rooms visit because it was so wonderful.

My family really loved this place. It was so beautiful around every turn. It was almost overwhelming to try to take everything in at once. There were kids there, as I posted one of my two, but it was a little nerve wracking at times with my son, who is somewhat hyperactive even when I'm physically holding his hand. Of course if you have a chill kid they will love the visuals. My older daughter really got into things even though she doesn't usually seem interested in these kinds of activities. I recommend 100%.

As museums go, Imagine is like one of those kaleidoscopes with bits of colored glass in them that create a brilliant new pattern with every fresh turn. Annette Kapfer, the docent who kindly showed us the difference between carved, molded, blown and woven glass, told me the displays change every three to six months. I believe her, because I recognized only a few favorites (the mini glass bakery, the space ship with lawn chairs) from the year before. So now I have an excuse to visit more often. There is this about Imagine which is unique: everything in it is new. This is modern art. Everything in it was created by artisans obsessed by what they can do with their medium. Neither the Church nor a wealthy patron nor even media had to be pleased. The museum is a celebration of the individual, a celebration of what is possible.

The art on display was divine. I look forward visiting again. Something that stood out to me was they allowed photos and encouraged it! A lot of galleries I have visited usually do not allow this.
