DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Unless you're absolutely desperate. The rooms are not what's pictured. Nothing is as advertised. The rooms are disgusting. Infested with cockroaches. Floors were dirty when we came in, sheets had burn holes, tables had burn marks from cigarettes. Electric plug in would not keep charger for phone plugged in, just fell out. Fridge wouldn't cool properly. Next room over had a dog that barked randomly in the middle of the night and a couple that always argued. Told the staff about the roaches and they ignored it. Just simply said they come in through the door. They didn't even clean the tub out from the previous people. Other guests claimed they had bed bugs. I wish we could give something zero stars.

I stayed in this hotel with my family about 2.5 weeks ago. All the reviews are true. This place is nasty. The sheets had stains and cigarette holes on them. I saw two roaches in the bathroom, the tub was disgusting and clogged. Our "non-smoking" room smelled like an ashy tray. During my two day stay, not once did housekeeping come to clean up or swap out our towels. Yuck! When I spoke to the front desk about these issues. These scam artist would not give us a refund nor switch our rooms. WARNING: This place also have a no refund policy so you won't get your money back when you check in. You'd be better off sleeping on the sidewalk than this place. There are better hotels on this street if you're willing to look. Do not waste your money.

All the reviews for this place are so bad, I'm glad I didn't listen. As you can see from pics, for the price, it's not bad at all. It could be a little cleaner, but I always clean my own rooms anywhere I stay. The room is spacious, plenty of storage space, the mini fridge has plenty of space w/a freezer. No signs of bed bugs at all and I haven't seen any signs of roaches yet either. Not sure why they got all the bad reviews, but I'm quite happy with the accommodations. The pool is big and clean looking, they have a play area for children, it's walking distance from Freedom Lake Park, also walking distance from Walmart, there's a restaurant on site, they accept pets and have an outside area fir them, they pretty much have a little bit of everything. For the price that you can get this room for and especially the weekly rates, it's a great deal. The only downside is the $50 deposit that you have to pay at check-in.... however, you get it back when you check out. So at least you know you got the money coming back to you ๐Ÿคฉ

Definitely one of the best hotels in the area and worth the price. Friendly service. Clean nice room and love the upgrades they have made. Everyone who was there already was friendly as well. I enjoyed my stay here. The best part about it is they have a restaurant and they also deliver it was a very nice hotel compared to the over rated ones in the area. I will definitely be back and staying here again

New owners have recently taken over. In the process of remodeling and adding kitchenettes to the rooms. Is no longer a short term stay, they are now extended stay rooms. Management is wonderful, they do accept pets with a pet fee. Reasonably priced in a time where you can't afford to live anywhere.

When I booked it I knew it's not gonna be 5 star hotel but this was beyond what I could handle. Mold smell was so heavy I couldn't even breathe. Bed linen had make up and BLOOD stains. Dirty was everything. Broken furniture, black mold, bugs, dirty linen, walls and carpet that probably had a layer of mold under. As soon as I walked in to the bathroom I had to kill a roach. I'm not picky but it was dangerous to stay there. After 5 minutes we walked to the front desk and asked to give us the best room they had. It was a little bit cleaner but still was dirty. We decided to leave but here there was another surprise. NO REFUND. We lost 800 bucks . They know people would leave that's why they don't refund the money. Only a deposit which is 50 bucks. Total scam! If I could leave minus 5 star review I would. People, it's literally dangerous to stay there!

honestly it wasnโ€™t that bad, the staff was very respectful of me and my boyfriend. the only complaint i really have is the roaches but then i remember we are in florida ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ hot shower and cold air and bed was comfortable. itโ€™s what you get for the price.

I have rented a room here for several months and I am very happy with my experience. The new staff are amazing. They are so helpful and friendly. I have more positive thoughts than negative. I am going to continue to stay here and I definitely recommend Bayside Inn to anyone who is in need of a good and safe place to stay whether temporarily or long term. Convenient location as well. Not the Don Cesar but neither are the prices. Great overall experience with Bayside Inn!!

If i could give this place a negative rating i would. I know the price is tempting but trust me this place is not worth it. Youโ€™d be better off spending a bit more for a decent room. I literally had brown spots on the bed i was given and the bathroom looked like its never been cleaned also the room smelled of cigarettes and a$$. Guys PLEASE dont stay at this place if you can really help it.

Well, I get there to check in for my reservation, but the office was closed. I walked the property to find someone working here and I just cannot believe how unbelievably terrible this place is. I saw through the windows stained mattresses, walls, garbage and cigarette buttons everywhere. I called several times, I heard the phone ring but no answer. Just as well, I wouldn't have stayed there anyway. Amazing this place is allowed to operate.

The bottom line is you get what you pay for. The room wasn't "dirty" but it definitely wasn't clean and while the towels were stained, the sheets weren't, and that's where it really matters. Where they failed for us is on the service side. Things that don't cost extra, like being friendly, making sure there are 2 towels in a room where 2 people are checking in, etc.. Pretty much everyone there has an issue with effective communication.

When i had booked this hotel i asked for a non smoking room as it was an option. I am asthmatic and smoke is a trigger for me. The room smelled heavy of smoke! I thought no biggie maybe a mix up. When i got to the lobby another person that had booked a non smoking room had the same issue. She was accommodated. When i went to also explain the issue the guy was rude and i was given a glade spray bottle and said that thats all they can do. When i went to get my refund because of the matter it was not a cancellation!!! They didnโ€™t have non smoking rooms available! I did not receive a refund and the deposit has yet to be returned. I guess you get what you pay for.

Great Price and great location, the staff there are super friendly. I left my credit card at the check-in counter and a nice maid hand delivered it to my room. My room was spotless and had everything I needed, the wireless was fast and the TV hand endless channels.

The Bayside Inn is a no frills hotel and that was perfect for our stay! If youโ€™re expecting the Ritz Carlton then this place isnโ€™t for you, but if you want somewhere to sleep and shower itโ€™s absolutely perfect! You get what you pay for and we got an amazing rate for 2 rooms. The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating. We had 2 dogs (one large and one small) and 2 cats and 3 kids with us because our house was having some work done. If you decide to give the Bayside Inn a try youโ€™ll have WiFi, cable and a comfy bed. The Mexican restaurant on site has very yummy food! They get great reviews. So if youโ€™re passing through and need a place to to lay your head and shower the Bayside Inn is definitely the place for you!

Where to I begin... This place was beyond terrible. First I get there to check in and no one was there in the front desk. I called and called, but no answer till 30-40 minutes later. When this older indian guy answers and I say I am in the front, the guy says "okay wait". He gets there and then directs me to the wrong side of the building, I figure it out and come to find out, our room smells really bad and is dirty and was not what we asked for. I tell him and he says that that is normal for the room to smell. I had no choice to sleep the night because it was late, but it was so bad we checked out the next day very early. We lost the money for the second day we were supposed to be there, but I don't even care. This place is a joke. Pictures online is not at all what it really is.

Extremely dirty. The first room smelled like a dog kennel/ bathroom. I almost gagged. I went to office and asked for another room. They charge a $50 deposit fee which doesn't get returned for 3 weeks after check out. I spent over 900 for 12 days. The website makes this place look fabulous don't be fooled. No hangers to hang clothes. Manager not friendly didn't make you feel welcomed at all. Had I known how nasty this place is I would've spent the extra money and booked somewhere else. I booked non refundable so I was stuck there. Never again nor would I recommend this place to anyone. Don't waste your money book somewhere else.

I went today to check out the rooms and they were very nice, the grounds were clean and the ladies at the front desk were very friendly and walked me to several rooms. They are under new management. I don't know what it was like before but I an tell you that I have been going to different hotels looking at what they have and one of 8 I was only able to see rooms at 2 places and the lady actually showed me 3room not just 1. I'm excited to make my move there

If I could give no stars I would. This place is absolute cesspool. The room smelled liked smoke, lamp shade was broke and light didnโ€™t work. Cigarette burns on the tv console, hole in the wall, bathroom/tub area was nasty, mold above the shower head. The door locked but not all way, easy enough for someone to kick it in. Kids running around outside as if they lived there. We were charged $50 for a deposit that my husband got back but did ask if there was another room available and was told no.

Absolutely horrifying. This is the most disgusting room I ever stayed in. The floors had not been swept/vacuumed, there was hair all over the toilet, tub and vanity area. There was toothpaste splatter all over the sink, faucet and mirror. There were no blankets. Most of the the electoral outlets didn't work. I'm absolutely appalled at how disgusting this room was. Never again!!!! This room wasn't worth the 60 something dollars we paid for it this room wasn't worth $5. Would not recommend. And the staff was not friendly or helpful by any means.

I stayed for a few months in multiple rooms. Sometimes there would be no microwave or fridge. When they booked us in the same room they didn't clean it the toilet and the outlets didn't work. When I asked the cleaning ladies to bring things they wouldn't after a week I brought my towels and the guy wouldn't even take them. Cops and ambulance nearly every day. The first day here someone died of an overdose. For the price there's better locations.

My friends had made a reservation here and when they arrived they were told the establishment had been sold. The new owners offered them a room . They needed a ground floor, they had no rooms available on the ground floor. They checked out the room offered only to find roaches . They refused the offer and went somewhere else.

Cigarette butts everywhere on the grounds, bugs in the rooms, very stingy on handing out towels and toilet paper, broken beds, leaking toilets, 1 day without water, no power until 230 am one night. If you like cops then this is definitely the spot! Every day the cops, fire trucks and ambulances were on site for some reason. People fighting, slamming doors, yelling and screaming. People letting there kids run the place! First and last time staying here!

This place is great .. now with new management. Their cleaning it up. Prices are comparably lower then most places around. And we love the pool. Always sum kids for my kids to play with. . I'd give them 10 stars if I could..

They need to update there website online. They do not have ice machines, free breakfast or vending machines. I like my room. There's no bugs in it. It's quiet here I love the sound of the kids laughter I like the swimming pool I like the fact the rooms are all the same price so you can get one bed or two beds I like that I can have a visitor overnight if I want I think customer service is super friendly and understanding

The key point of interest are housekeeping and building maintenance. The pool was really really dirty. I used to worked at pinch a penny main plant in clearwater, it smelled better than your swimming pool

This place is very interesting, but it has extremely delicious Mexican food connected directly to it I would say itโ€™s a little bit scary for my liking but the food at the Mexican restaurant was delicious
