Just passing by on our way to Ubud. But they do sell colorful Bali sarong. Most of the payments are with cash.

For art lovers, you can pick up some decent prints for a reasonable price. Other than that, its just rows and rows of stalls selling souverniers.....all stalls selling much the same items. T-shirts, bags, handbags, wooden items etc. Be prepared for a bit of hustling as you walk pass the stalls. And be aware that they hike up the price. So be patient.... dont buy from the first stall you go to. Have a good look around, and get a 'feel' for what the real price of the items are

Nice little market with huge selection of local handicrafts. There were lots of purses, paintings, hats, and traditional clothing. Remember, the prices quoted to foreigners are upto 80% high, so bargain accordingly. (We were quoted 150k for a Saroong but we managed to get it for 40k, almost 70% off, paintings initially quoted for 1.5 mil were down to 600k) While we can bargain, it is good to keep interest of these people. We did give tip to them which made them quite happy. "Words of mouth" travel faster than light here, soon after the tip news people started offering good prices.

Traditional art and handicraft market.. where you can purchase lots of local Balinese arts and handycrafts. But, we have to be careful when dealing with the Seller.. as the price is negotiable.. and depends on how good is our negotiations skill. Good place to hunts for arts and handcrafts.

Pasar Sukowati is the best option to get some souvenirs from Bali. A lot of people sell Sarung, Udeng, Shirts, and Clothes. The customer can negotiate the price as long as it makes sense. It is always crowded with the visitors who visit Bali.

Price is quite reasonable after bargaining. They do charge International tourists higher than Indonesians. Tips: Dare to give your price 50% - 70% lower and avoid buying only 1 item at one store! I didn’t visit the new building of Sukmawati Art Market.

One of the places to look for paintings, souvenirs or souvenirs in the Bali area. The place is close to Sukawati market. Could be another option besides the Sukawati market.

So much stuff and a bit overwhelming. The people are just waiting for tourists and are a bit pushy to sell their things. But there are nice little shops beside where you can find beautiful work 😊

A bit hidden at the back of a parking lot just outside Sukawati is this wonderful art market with a lot of beautiful paintings, textile items all at very reasonable prices. You can stroll around for hours. Dont be worried by the salespersons, this is Bali!
