I enjoy this place every time I visit here. Always something new to learn about people who lived in this area a few centuries ago. The surrounding nature is so beautiful and the hike up the Bambo hill is a very special experience.

Bakone malapa it's a very nice place and everyone can visit it as it teach us about our culture , eg houses used by our forefathers their lifestyles , many things that our generation doesn't know . I encourage parents and educators to take their children to go and learn about their culture.

We visited on the 24/12/2019 and it was empty, which is so sad because the entrance fee is just R15. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Our tour guide was welcoming, informative and demonstrated some examples as well. our heritage and culture need to be preserved. so grateful for this place.
