I came here in the morning and later in the evening for the light show. It’s an amazing wooden structure in Seville. With the rooftop walkway, you can have a panoramic view of Seville city. The light show wasn’t so incredible but still nice to see with a very light music playing. One small tip is to book your tickets beforehand, and choose the show time around 7pm to 7.30pm to enjoy the sunset (if you want to see sunset) and also the light show which costs just 8 euros. If you just want to see the light show at night then the ticket costs 10 euros. The light show will start at 8pm.

Beautiful location, great view from the top. Lovely colours, enjoyed the video of the highlights in the city as it was our last day there - a nice end to the trip! Take care if it has rained as the bridge is sloped in places and quite slippery. It costs a little more at night but the lights look more spectacular so it depends on what view you would like. Staff were lovely :)

A landmark starting point that connects the entrance to the old town with the outer city. It was like a time machine connecting the present and the past. The design was also very unique and did not blend in with the surroundings. But it is unrivaled. It provides shade in the hot summer and is easy to find because it is very visible. I recommend going up to the observatory.

Very cool architecture and landmark in Seville. Was too late to get into the facility but was very exciting to see. Provided nice shade from hot weather and pleasant to look at. Updated: we came back for an evening in Seville and we're lucky enough to walk the top of the structure at sunset and shortly afterwards! Talk about beauty in architecture and engineering! Views for miles and the changing colors was incredible. We stayed for a short movie that highlights the area and I really enjoyed. I hope they offer a video on the construction of it as well, some day!

Really, really great spot! The ticket allows you to enter the place twice, so go there during the day to see the city views in the sun and then go there in the evening to see the lights and music show making you shiver. Oh and of course there is this movie show which elevates the overall impression. Truly great experience. Highly recommended.

A very cool place to visit. The structure is made of wood and is impressive. While you can walk around the outside for free I recommend paying to go to the top. It is well worth it. Pro tip.. buy tickets on your phone and you can skip the slow ticket line. Also, go around sunset so that you can see the Setas in both the sunlight and the light show that starts about 30 minutes after sunset. There are amazing views from the upper most deck.

really interesting structure in the middle of downtown Sevilla. we were there during the day, so we paid 5€ to go up to the scenic view. we were up there for about 30 minutes which was plenty of time to take in the scene. it was a little tricky to find the entrance to purchase tickets. it’s under the left side from where you see the I 🤍 Sevilla sign on the stairs. someday we’d like to be back to see the sunset and light show. it was a quick and fun little stop.

Unique building, interesting & enjoyable experience. Tickets allow you to visit twice, so we went during the day & again that evening just before sunset. Long queue to enter for evening visit, so arrive in good time if you want to watch sunset before lights come on when it gets dark. Film is excellent. Lots of information on construction on boards (on stairway walls) + sample of wood, which we enjoyed on our day time visit. Fabulous experience. We stayed over an hour on our day visit & 2 hours in the evening when we also watched the film a second time! Market was not open as it was Sunday.

This was a cool place to visit with amazing views of Seville! Admission is a little bit pricey, but they allow you to enter twice with each ticket. I recommend visiting once in the daytime and again in the night when the structure is lit up! The immersive video is also a must-see.

We really wanted to see the sunset, and to some extent, we succeeded. It's crowded. The light show is absolutely stunning. It's worth going up if you're in the area. There's music playing, and the way the colors change is mesmerizing. It was a bit difficult to find the entrance. I think it's worth going in time to see the sunset because the city is beautiful.

It's a wooden structure located in the old quarter of SevilleIt's. You better to come before sunset so you can see more diversity of the sky. The colors of the monument are changing after the sunset. The panoramic view is picturesque and truly marvelous.

A good experience even in the rain when every other day had been hot intense sunshine! It's nice to walk around and people watching from above but it doesn't feel high enough to enjoy the view of Seville from above. Seville is a beautiful city but the skyline isn't the best view, the city is better enjoyed on the ground. It's also a little pricey for what it is at €15 and its over and done with in 30 minutes. The structure itself is impressive and definitely stands out around all the old buildings and architecture.

Setas De Seville is a breathtaking architectural marvel that truly captivates the essence of Seville. Our visit post 10 pm was nothing short of magical; the illuminated structure offered a mesmerizing panorama of old Seville, creating a sublime experience. The intricate play of changing colors on the wooden freestanding structure was a sheer delight, enhancing the beauty of the cityscape. This vantage point allowed us to witness Seville in all its glory, a view that will forever linger in our memories. Setas De Seville is a must-visit, offering a unique perspective of the city that is as enchanting as it is unforgettable.

It was a great experience. Better than I thought it would be. I was worried the views would be poor because most buildings around it seem the same size from the ground but you did get great views on the higher parts. The feel seville experience was a nice added bonus 15 min cinema type experience really felt like you were moving

I think it is one of the most beautiful views of Seville along with those of the Giralda and the route that is made over the building and the different perspectives of it and the different panoramic views of the city will make you take unforgettable photos of the city. Such a beautiful place and the sunsets are breathtaking. What a magical place. I was mesmerized by every detail from the flamenco dancers, to the amazing ceramic art of each city! The colors, the energy, the vibe are absolutely amazing! Plus there was a wedding taking place while there, so that made it even more beautiful! Love was definitely in the air!

Very cool attraction that is best viewed at night to get the full experience. Entrance is a bit wonky, as opposed to going up the stairs to find an elevator, or into the shopping mall beneath you actually need to go around the side and go into the basement. Pretty poorly marked which was a tad bit confusing. Still, the view from up top is very hard to beat, the lights within the mushroom structure are very unique.

I came here for the first time in June 2015 and loved it for the quirky looks and the commanding views over the area. Despite being end of December 2021 it was a sunny clear day with blue skies, so the view was the same or possibly better due to the cooler air. There was also no queue to get in.

Must see in Sevilla. This monument is a great example of modern architecture, being combined with the historical sites. In the night there is gorgeous light show. The best time to visit os the sunset - you can see it in the daylight, see the sunset and also the night light show. The time is not limited 😉

One of the most impressive structures I have ever seen! Awesome views from all sides. Gorgeous nose lighting gives a special charm to the textured forms of the building. Even better view in the morning at sunrise. They say that you can go upstairs - to the balcony, but unfortunately I could not get there.

Amazing architecture and a site to see in Seville. It’s not an extremely high viewpoint but you get a 360 view of the city in a more personal way. Recommend booking tickets in advance to ensure you don’t have to stand in any line and also recommend visiting just before the lights turn on

Actually very cool attraction - more than meets the eye. We walked by a few times in the day time due to its central location but did not plan on entering. However around 8:30 PM we started to see people lined up - we realized that this was for the nightly light show. Since the ticket is not overly expensive (€15) we bought two for the 9PM time slot, with sunset being around 8:45. After a very quick elevator ride you set out onto the top of the Setas. The view is amazing - especially when the sunset happens. It is truly picturesque. After the sunset, the light show begins, which is also amazing. If you are free at night I’d highly recommend this. It is completely different from the top than from the bottom, as you can barely see the colours from the bottom. It’s probably worth it to get there a bit early to get a good spot to watch the sunset and show, as it was extremely busy at the best viewpoints and people tended to stay for a long time. Also would be good to buy the sunset slot tickets ahead of time, as it was sold out when we walked up. 9PM was the next available which was a bit close for comfort with sunset around 8:45.

Definitely one of the top-3 sites in Sevilla, if not the best! Located in the middle of a very nice park that is already worth the visit. The Plaza de España is a great mix of beautiful arquitecture, ceramic decorations and Sevilla spirit! Specially interesting for Spaniards to find the bench with your city (there is one for each city in Spain) If you are lucky you will see some live flamenco in the square which makes the place magical!

One of the best place I've been to in Seville. Amazing building exterior and interior. Wide space with water fountain, where the kids are really enjoyed playing with it. There's a small boat with paddle you can hire. Paddling on the small stream in front of the Plaza. During my visit, not many tourist although it was Seville Feria festival. But I can see some locals wearing the traditional flamenco dress walking around the Plaza.

A place worth visiting, to immerse yourself in ancient Spanish history, looking at the amazing art-work on walls, each depicting a period or event in one Spanish province... at around 18.30pm during the summer months, you maybe lucky enough to see a fantastic Flamenco dance by street dancers.

Visiting the viewpoint (mirador) at night is a must. You can walk on top or the construction and enjoy lighting show, as well as panoramic views of the city. It is also beautiful during the day, but night experience is just different, so if I were to pick one, I would recommend going at night. The place also has a gift shop.

Setas Sevilla offered a pleasant counterpoint to the historical landmarks in Seville. From the top of the structure you get a panoramic view of Seville city. And, if you manage to get in at sunset, the structure transforms into a brilliant light show as the sky darkens. For sunset entry, be sure to book in advance from the official website.

Interesting strukture with a beautiful view of the city, nice multi media show. The only thing we found strange is that children from 15 to 18 pay the same price as adults while students above 18 years have a discount. When we asked the woman at the ticket office why is that she was little bit rude answering something like - this is it. But otherwise I would definitely recommend the visit.

An exquisitely beautiful and distinct locale, exuding a unique charm and an independent spirit. We were enraptured by a 15-minute cinematic masterpiece, imbued with enchantment and breathtaking splendor. Little did we know, an awaiting spectacle lay there. Every second was relished, with a longing for its extension lingering within us. The allure and majesty of the Andalusian landscape are readily apparent on its surface. A panoramic vista unfurls, spanning from the eastern to the western horizon, and from the northern to the southern reaches. Take a moment for introspection, indulge in the experience, and allow your heart to synchronize with the captivating strains of an exquisite Andalusian melody.

Wonderful! Winding your way through the streets past older buildings and churches, there is no clue what awaits as you come into the plaza. Then you round a corner and this massive wooden structure is there. A photographers dream as the light changes from every directional view. Setas de Sevilla Metropol Parasol The Metropol Parasol, popularly known as the Mushrooms of the Incarnation, is a wooden structure with 2 concrete columns that hold the access elevators to the viewpoint and is located in the central Plaza de la Encarnación in the city of Seville. It measures 150 x 70 metres and is approximately 26 metres high. It was the winning project in the competition opened by the Seville City Council to carry out the renovation of the square in which it is located; its designer was the architect from Berlin, Jürgen Mayer. The structure consists of six large, mushroom-shaped parasols, whose design is inspired by the arches of Seville's cathedral and the ¨ficus¨ of nearby Plaza del Cristo de Burgos. All in all, it has five levels. The upper level contains a lookout point and a panoramic route that covers most of the area. Inside the central parasols, at a height of 22 metres, there is a tapas restaurant and space for events. Under the parasols is an elevated, shady and diaphanous square (Plaza Mayor) designed to host events of different character. At ground level is the current Mercado de la Encarnación market, along with commercial and catering spaces. Finally, the basement hosts the Antiquarium Museum, which displays the archaeological remains found there. This Antiquarium was designed by the Sevillian architect Felipe Palomino González, who participated in the entire construction management of the major project.

Beautiful! Definitely a place to visit in Sevilla, if you are lucky (and no covid restrictions) you will find guitar player and flamenco dancers that complete the charm of this place. You can do a little boat tour (by yourself) or just enjoy the visit inside and outside. Best spot for pictures.

In my opinion, best viewed at night when it's all lit up. As we entered the plaza we heard music and assumed it was background, until we saw a flute player on the entrance main steps. It was a fantastic ambiance! The whole plaza beautifully decorated and very romantic. Of you're thinking of proposing to your loved one.... look no further (I'm already engaged to her, or I would have done it here)

(Translated by Google) Thanks to the Guadalquivir, the only navigable river in Spain that divides the city in two, Seville has always been a thriving commercial center, so much so that in the fourteenth century it earned the nickname "puerto y puerta de Indias". Mythology has it that Seville was founded by Hercules but in reality its origins are due to the Tartesi and the Romans, who called it Hispalis. In 712 the city was conquered by the Arabs and in this period Isbiliya, the Arabic name of Seville, experienced its maximum splendor reaching its peak in the mid-twelfth century when the Major Mosque and its minaret, the famous Giralda, were built. today a symbol of the city. Since 1248, when the Catholic Ferdinand III of Castile reconquered Seville, the city underwent rapid transformations: the Major Mosque was replaced with the Cathedral and the port, in the 14th century, obtained the monopoly of Spanish trade with the American continent, effectively transforming Seville in one of the richest and most cosmopolitan cities in the world. Thanks to the arrival of numerous artists during the Spanish Golden Century, such as Zurbaran, Murillo, Juan de Valdés Leal, Juan Martinez Montanés and Pedro Roldan, Seville experienced a great artistic and architectural development with the construction of majestic Renaissance and Baroque palaces. Unfortunately, with the plague epidemic of 1649 and the covering up of the Guadalquivir in 1717, Seville experienced a strong period of decline that, with ups and downs, dragged on until the twentieth century. Before the Spanish Civil War Seville hosted the Universal Exposition of 1929 and, on the occasion of the 5th Centenary of the Discovery of America, welcomed millions of visitors for the 1992 Expo. For these events Seville has undergone an important modernization: Piazza di Spain, Piazza dell'America, the pavilions of the Maria Luisa Park, a Tecoological park home to important companies, new roads, stations and AVE high-speed rail lines that connect it to Madrid in a few hours, avant-garde style buildings and eight bridges on the Guadalquivir, like the bridge of the Alamillo, symbol of modern Seville.

Sure, largest wooden structure in the world, but 10€ to go up? Seems a bit steep to me. The view is very nice though, you can see all the churches of Sevilla and even skyscrapers in the distance. Upstairs, there is an interesting souvenir shop and a 4D cinema of sorts.

  • 5/5 Harry 2 years ago on Google
You can get a full panoramic view of city of Sevilla! The architecture is truly amazing also. The stairs can be steep and slanted at certain places so be mindful. The prices are different depends on the time. It is more expensive at night. 15-30 minutes would be sufficient for this place. Stay longer if you want to appreciate the view a bit more. 👍

It doesn’t have any type of student discount. There’s different prices depending on the time that you go (day, sunset, night) it gets more expensive has it gets late. Even though it’s beautiful, I wouldn’t say it’s very necessary to go up since you only get to see a view of Sevilla and that’s it. For the price I would pass.

  • 5/5 Irwin M. 1 year ago on Google
A beautiful wooden sculpture that looks like a floating honeycomb, amongst the old neighborhood. Even if you wish to stay in the bottom where it’s free, it’s still a marvelous sight to behold. As Seville is a city known for its landmarks, this recent addition to the city helps Seville live up to its grand reputation as one of Europe’s most grand cities.

It’s the biggest wooden structure in Europe… but you wouldn’t know it. Sprayed to protect it ‘looks like’ concrete slabs when close up. Worth a visit but would recommend evening / night time as has more visual impact.

A great opportunity to see Sevilla from a different angle. And the actual structure is impressive in itself. What I liked is that there are information boards explaining how the structure was erected and providing the visitors with some interesting facts. We visited during the day time but I honestly think it is also worth coming back during the evening when lights are on.

  • 5/5 Sean O. 1 year ago on Google
This is a cool structure in the middle of Seville, on the edge of the old town. A meeting place for the young, a photo stop off, an underground market, surrounded by bars, definitely worth a visit with your camera. You can get on the roof, we saw folk up there, but google will have to be your friend.

  • 5/5 Aitor B. 1 year ago on Google
One of the most impressive structures I have ever seen! Awesome views from all sides. Gorgeous nose lighting gives a special charm to the textured forms of the building. Even better view in the morning at sunrise. They say that you can go upstairs - to the balcony, but unfortunately I could not get there.

  • 5/5 Teeny Scott B. 11 months ago on Google
Loved this, my second time, fantastic views from the top and fun walking up to it and having a coffee to admire the view from below first! This time, there was a surround-sound picture 'experience' included in the ticket which was actually really good and highlighted lots of other fun things to do in Seville (if you could work out where they were). Recommended, archaeological ruins beneath (had to buy a different ticket, I think), and an excellent food market on the ground floor. We bought a delicious picnic lunch - yum.

  • 5/5 Vasilis S. 9 months ago on Google
One of the most beautiful places at Sevilla and on earth for me. Very unique structure with an interesting story. A great center to find food, coffee, drinks etc. Moreover, small souvenir stores have greater prices than the ones on the old city center (next to the palace entrance and the cathedral). I wish I had some time to visit the aquarium. Maybe next time!

  • 5/5 Nuno C. 9 months ago on Google
What an amazing piece of architecture situated in the centre of Seville. Worth the ticket price of €15 for access to the viewing decks at the top of the structure with 360° views of the entire city. Especially magnificent is the light show in the evenings. Light show starts at 22:00, but recommend going earlier to secure a good spot at the top, especially during the busy tourist season.

  • 3/5 Ghassan S. 9 months ago on Google
It is a nice attraction. I like it and I like the view and the stroll. However, I strongly disagree with the idea that there is an entrance fee. This attraction should be flat out a public one like a park. Otherwise I don’t see it worth the entrance fee. My 3 star rating is linked to the value attached to the fee.

  • 5/5 Ambrose & Brid O. 9 months ago on Google
Such a beautiful structure. Such bold vision to build this in what was previously a derelict site. Fabulous views of the city. A really dramatic IMAX film is part of the entrance fee. Underneath there is a food market.

  • 5/5 Michelle M. 10 months ago on Google
This is such a cool modern architecture in a small town. I did not go, but I know there is a rooftop track to this place that you can pay less than €15 to walk. I would recommend doing so during sunset. And at night this place lights up! They have benches on the bottom level where you can sit & rest or have a quick bite. Would recommend this as a pit stop, but not a 3-4 hour adventure.

  • 5/5 Gerben V. 9 months ago on Google
Quite a modern piece of architecture in the middle of the old city centre. It gives a nice 360 view over the city. It is best to go when the sun is down and when the city is light up.

It’s a modern structure that is one of Sevilla’s tourist attractions. We bought the tickets to the mirador in advance and were able to get a student discount. We chose the sunset schedule to go up. The view from above is great. They also put on some colorful moving lights on the Setas at night. It got a bit crowded though since almost everyone wanted to catch the sunset there.

  • 4/5 Arthur Z. 9 months ago on Google
Very cool landmark in Sevilla. Highly recommend going to watch the sunset and city at night. Price of €15 is probably slightly higher than what I’d pay, however. There was an interesting immersive show included that runs every ~15 minutes. The view and lights were nice, but that was pretty much all there was.

  • 5/5 Sarah F. 9 months ago on Google
Such a great place to visit. Even if you go and sit in one of the bars opposite. When you buy your ticket, it gives you access to see it during the day and at night for the light show. It’s so much better on a clear day, as you can see all the amazing views of Sevilla.

  • 4/5 Lydia R. 9 months ago on Google
Impressive piece of architecture and cracking view from the top! The experience is rather brief though so the €15 ticket is pricey. The cinema attraction was very bizarre. We came back in the evening for the light show which was very cool however it’s extremely busy (compared to being the only ones during the day) so prepared to queue and be crushed in the lift. The idea is great but think it needs a little rethinking.

BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE AND BE THERE EARLY FOR THE SUNSET. For July we bought the slot at 8:30pm and stayed to have the best view of the sunset. It was packed so we did a good job buying the slots early. Also a light show after dark.

  • 5/5 L R. 8 months ago on Google
Really enjoyable experience, especially if you book for just before sunset. You then get to see it in the light and in the dark. The light show starts at 10pm. The app has a little thing for kids to do with augmented reality. The video show is also good fun. Great time had by all, some areas do get a bit busy, but still very good. Make sure you book in advance to skip the queues.

  • 5/5 Sarah 8 months ago on Google
This trip was definitely worth it! I recommend buying tickets for just before sunset so that you can enjoy the view during some day light as well as see the wooden structure light up at night! They also have an emerging theater that's included with the entry ticket. This show highlights all the amazing things in Sevilla, making it the perfect attraction to wrap up your visit. Highly recommend 👌🏻

Loved this place once you're above it. It was huge looking from below and was breathtaking from above. We timed our visit before sunset and the cool breeze above plus the view is memorable for us. There is a 15 min video about Seville and after that, you can stay at the top until itd closed, 11:30pm. Easy to buy tickets.

  • 5/5 Dan M. 6 months ago on Google
Do yourself a favor: DON'T MISS IT! As we did unfortunately. Sunset and Night Show are exceptional and only by themselves a reason to Visit Sevilla. Of course Plaza Espana and the Cathedral are must sees, but this one as well. Book your tickets in advance on the net and pick a time slot that allow you to minimize the lines, find a good spot for Sunset and stay for the night show. It would be a tremendous FOMO if you don't do that.

  • 5/5 Adam B. 6 months ago on Google
Great 360 views of the city. Was not too busy in the day and is full of information of the sights you can see from the top. You can reuse your ticket in the evening and join a smaller queue. The sunset over the city is amazing. It is quite busy in the evening so make sure you get there early to get a good spot.

  • 4/5 Smithy 6 months ago on Google
Not far away from the Cathedral, 10 min walk through the quirky streets with shops on both sides to keep you amused on the way, the tourists information centre called it a huge mushroom! Anyway, still a good piece of art, good for photo's, once you climb the wide stairs there is a large ( i love Seville on top) you pay €15 for entry, ( a bit steep for what you get), then go up to the top for a view of the city below, neon light show Inc, think it would be better at night, the square surroundings are plenty of cafe bars & restaurants.

  • 4/5 Sonya M. 6 months ago on Google
A very interesting architectural masterpiece. It is squeezed by the surrounding buildings, but although oddly shaped it fits in well. I wanted to go up to take pictures from the top, but I couldn't find the ticket center. There aren't many signs in English. The market below is mainly meat and vegetables, but the stalls are few and far between.

  • 5/5 C.C. R. 5 months ago on Google
Enjoyable visit that's centrally located with many attractions, shops and restaurants nearby all within walkingdistance. There was a large mix or tourists and locals as we visited during the early evening. The structure is impressive however it wasn't immediately apparent if there was access to ascend to the top. Perhaps on the next visit.........!!! Recommend a visit if you are in Seville.

  • 5/5 Barry H. 5 months ago on Google
We prebooked our tickets so we would arrive 30 minutes before sunset. Upon entering, we watched a 15-minute immersive arty video about Seville, which was good, but you might be better off using that time to get a good spot at the very top for the best view of the sunset as it gets very busy about 15-30 minutes before sunset. You can always watch the movie after you've seen the sunset, too. We didn't fight for a space at the very top as the views from a little lower down were very good. A great experience. Do stay for the light switch on, which happens about 15 minutes past sunset. Plenty of good bars and eateries nearby, too.

Nice attraction, biggest wooden structure in Europe. Get your tickets online to avoid the queue and get to the top. The view on the city is breathtaking and sunsets are a moment you should see once in your life.

This is a fabulous place to visit on a sunny day. There's a short 15-minute film show included in the ticket price (15 euros). The views are great, and I'd say it's worth the money.

The mushrooms of Seville are an incredibly pleasant place for everyone - a romantic couple, a family with children or experienced travelers. A great combination of watching a video about Seville and exploring the city from a 360-degree view. During the day you will find beautiful surroundings of the city, and at night there will be a beautiful light show. Super place.

We bought the Tickets and Watched the Night Show, Feeling Sevilla and a Day Time View, Its Pretty good but I dont think so its worth 15€/person. Overall the Experience was good. The good thing is that with one ticket you can enter 2 times (within 24 hrs i guess)
