Authentic and enchanting!! This is a plain door entrance in a strip shopping center..you walk through the door and voila; a beautiful space and the food is amazing!! Being from Michigan, we are used to Greek "coney islands" and a chain called Leo's.. .clearly what we had today is far more authentic and delicious! We will "have Greek once a week" here, just like their menu suggests! See you soon dear Nomiki's place!

Our first time out to eat since the pandemic started in March. Both had the Gyro plate one with fries the other with Greek salad. Meal very tasty and authentic. Our server, Jamal attentive and courteous. Nice dining experience.

Customer service was amazing, timing was on spot (ordered ahead for pick-up, and changed my pickup time 2'ce) it was fresh and ready when I arrived. Added another dish upon arrival to go as well. 10 out of 10.... highly recommend!!

Very authentic with so much flavor. Very family oriented. They give you little pitas with oil that are amazing. Get the chicken souvlaki.

If you want authentic, fresh, homemade Greek food, then this is the place! Everything on the menu is cooked to perfection. Truly the BEST Greek food and hospitality in town! It’s obvious that this family puts a lot of love into their recipes. Not only is the food delicious, the deserts are always amazing too! I have been dining at Plakka for 13 years now and the experience has consistently been exceptional! Very good food and service. The portions are massive, my wife and I shared the mixed grill and pack up her gyro. I would certainly come back when looking for a great greek restaurant.

SO good. I'm going to go into a food coma once I get home! My husband got the Loukaniko with fries, and I got the classic Gyro with roasted potatoes. I was expecting bite-sized potatoes but was pleasantly surprised when I received a whole potato sliced in half. We also had the Tzatziki starter and the herb dip first. And to end it all, we finished with the Bakalava. Don't skip dessert, and make sure you get the Baklava!! Your waistline will regret it, but your taste buds will not! Our waitress was so sweet and friendly. We also overheard the others in the restaurant praising the food and the cook. Overall, it was a really lovely atmosphere. It's definitely worth putting up with the construction on McGregor to get here!

Our family was eager to have some authentic Greek food. Unfortunately, it lacked much flavor.

Incredible! We sat ourselves where we chose and had our drinks within two minutes of walking in. We already knew that we wanted to try their gyro platter, so we ordered right away. We had our salads within 10 minutes then half way through our salads we were brought pitas and an oil and herb topping and as soon as we were finished with our salads, our gyros were at the table. I found the food to be fresh and delicious. This was the first time we were there and we will definitely return. We recommend this restaurant.

I've been eating here for my goodness: years and years. Their Greek salads are perfect and HUGE, flaming saganaki, hummus with pita bread. Just the way they make their green beans is spectacular. But my favorite: order a souvlaki "wrapped" tightly in pita. Get either the chicken or the lamb. It's so darn good and so fresh. Thank me later!

5 stars all around. First time eating here, and while initially I planned to just place a to go order, the atmosphere and staff were so welcoming; I decided to dine in. I ordered a gyro which was absolutely delicious! My server had such a positive vibe and energy. His name started with a J, but now I can’t remember it unfortunately! Will definitely be back!

They catered our graduation party for 50+ people. They accommodated my requests, went above and beyond and the food was simply delicious!!! Everyone at our party RAVED at how delicious the food was! The Greek salad they made was gorgeous!!! We will be ordering from here again for sure!!!

Love this place! Absolutely the best Greek food I’ve found in the Ft Myers area. Narrow restaurant in strip mall. Unassuming and casual atmosphere. Kind and efficient service. I’ve been here many times, but have tried only a few items on the menu because my favorite is the gyro salad. It’s fresh, huge, and is served with a side (I like their fries, and ask for them to be on a separate plate) and pita bread. My husband loves the gyro sandwich or platter. Excellent restaurant with authentic greek cuisine. Every bite was a symphony of flavors all in perfect harmony that transports you right to Greece. Congratulations to the Yiayia for her decadent recipes. Will definitely come back to this fine establishment.

Great Greek restaurant in a strip mall. The food is very good with large portions so I recommend splitting and also sharing appetizers. Also enjoyed the house Greek wine.

We have lived all over the U.S. and the world, to include 2 years in Greece. This Greek resturant is the best ever!!! Katie our server was very attentive to our needs and courteous throughout our dining experience. This authentic Greek food is the best we have had in 50 years since living in Greece. The grilled octopus is to die for!!! All of the food quality and quantity was superb. You will not be disappointed at this establishment. Truly a 10+ out of 10 rating!!!! Don't miss out on this experience.

Absolutely fantastic food! MUST order the hummus & pita & olive oil - no matter what. Fresh, full of flavor and has something for everyone. Table ordered chicken souvlaki, hummus, spanakopita, and chow mein …all recommended. Their pizza we ordered to go after having a side of rice with their tomato sauce 😆or was delicious as well and would have never guessed it would be so incredible -from the bright tomato sauce to the pita it’s on. CANNOT wait to come back!!

In my opinion taste better than Kabab Village And cleaner I love kabab village but this was better to me Vegetarian grape leaves Gyro and Greek salad Food was great They offer dessert but also have a candy machine I was unable to give 5 stars bc they had a M&M candy dispenser That machine has to go

Went for lunch. I ordered the chicken on skewers. It came with rice. I was disapointed the chicken was over cooked and dry no flavor it was inedible. I won't be going back. A new one was offered i declined just wanted to get out of there. I paid the bill but probably should'nt have.

Excellent food! The moussaka was a perfect blend of ingredients. Salad was amazing. Soup was very tasty. Gyro meat was tender and flavorful. Portions are very generous! Prices fair and great service.

A quaint locally owned Greek restaurant. Very clean and a friendly and inviting staff. Food portions were very generous and outstanding quality with excellent tastes and flavors. We will definitely return again and again!

The service was fast & friendly and it has a great atmosphere - much more than what I was expecting from a small strip mall. The food was also quite good: the tzatziki and the olive oil dips were both good, but a little mild for my taste. The Nomiki's Salad has potato salad in it - YES! - although they also have more garden variety salads as well. The portion size was generous and we will definitely be back to try more menu items.

Food was fantastic! No air conditioning. Out of one of our favorite dishes and a limited selection of wine and beer.

Fast service (for pick up), friendly staff, and clean resturant. Got two gyros to go and they were ready within 10 minutes, asked if we could add another 10 minutes and it was ready when requested. The fries were not the best but not soggy when I got them. The taziki sauce was perfect and not super fluffy like other places. $23.41 for two gyros and fries.
