Fish and chips at the seaside are an essential part of any visit, and you'd have to go a long way to beat these. Very reasonable prices and very good portions, too. The whole thing was cooked perfectly, and the haddock was just the best quality ever. My girlfriend had a small fish, which in any other restaurant would be a regular. I had a regular which I'd have classed as large. Lord knows what the large haddock was like. We'd have needed to move tables to accommodate it!!. Exceptional quality and very good, quick service, too. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely fantastic. The food was amazing with light crispy batter, none greasy chips and well done peas. Everything was served really nicely and the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Can highly recommend

The food itself was lovely, the chips could have been a little hotter but no real complaints - the fish was great. However, whilst waiting for the fish to cook we asked if my 12 year old nephew could use the toilet to which they refused. They said restaurant customers only, what difference does it make? I’m a paying customer! Very bizarre policy given I was still spending nearly £30 for the 3 of us. We would have dined it but the place isn’t dog friendly (fair enough no complaints about that). Very bizarre.

Top notch fish and chips, certainly in my all time top 3, and the service was excellent and very friendly. The chap who took our order even warned me about the size of the superior haddock, being very much on the exceptionally large side. I still went for it and managed it, just (see photo). I couldn't fault it and the prices were certainly reasonable in my view and on a par with other good quality chippies in the various Yorkshire Coast resorts. Definitely go again.

Absolutely fantastic fish and chips, I'd go as far to say probably the best iv had to date. Service is fast, and even with the cue outside, it's still only a 5 minute wait. I've not tried the restaurant yet, but it's definitely on the cards' next visit.

Very nice fish and chips and worth every penny’ the restaurant is clean and tidy with plenty of setting front and back’ no parking but it’s only a short walk from the public car park

We took an Australian relative and we all thought it was exceptional. The young lady who served us was very helpful and even helped me to choose my meal. On her encouragement I ordered the poached haddock - lovely. Thankyou.

We usually take our food to eat outside today we ate in the restaurant very pleasant atmosphere delightful staff , the portions are immense good quality service & food!

Quite simply the best fish and chips. Lovely meaty haddock, tasty batter that is crispy but not hard and perfect chips. Very reasonably priced, good size portions and friendly service. Only issue is how far away they are from home, which is why we choose Filey for a short break to enjoy them again as we liked them so much when had them earlier in the year.

The best Cod & Chips I've ever tasted! Wasn't a fan of the Haddock though. Excellent service, and atmosphere, and perfect gravy :) Will be going back for more Cod, Chips and gravy again in the future!

What a lovely fish shop in Filey! Service was really friendly and the service was super fast. The fish was cooked to perfection I'd put it up there in the top 5 I've eaten. Purchased haddock & chips for £8.50. Excellent quality food and good portion size. Highly recommend if in filey.
