Better than the Pelham location in my opinion. You just can’t beat the vibe of the place. Old school machines, cast iron plates, there’s just something about it that you can’t beat. Really wish they had at least another power rack with a platform but it’s usually open most of the time so it’s all good. Definitely worth the extra 15 minute drive.

Started a new membership and the staff goes above and beyond to provide customer service. Always super nice! The gym is very nice and clean. I had a bad experience at a different location and Hoover was quick to fix what happened and went out of their way to make it right!!

This gym is great for anyone. The environment is very nice, with a good mix of beginners up to series bodybuilders. Mix of older and newer equipment which is very well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have and would recommend this gym to anyone. Gym gets fairly busy later in the day from 4-6pm but never to busy to get on the machines and weights you want to use. The best part is you can workout any time any day. For the most part there is always a few people working out.

Honestly, 24e Hoover has to be one of the best gyms I’ve ever been apart of. Not only is the facility open and clean, the people there are like no other. From my first day, I met Dan at the front desk and since then, I’ve interacted with so many people that have contributed to my success. This is definitely a gym that puts community at the forefront along with awesome equipment that will condition your body to reach your full potential. 10/10 Recommend!

Great gym. Great staff. Some equipment needs repairs (soft stuff like pads are worn out, velcro coming off, etc.) Overall a wonderful, laid back place to work out.

I love the sense of community at 24e in Hoover. On top of that I received personal training by Dalton. Dalton is patient while still being stern, and talks you through each workout. Might I add he’s a huge movie buff so on rest breaks he’ll share stories on all latest movies in theaters.

The staff are all so kind. Daniel, the GM, is such a genuine guy. He is always smiling, willing to help however he can, and very knowledgeable. Love the gym and people :)

Not for everyone, but I give it 5 stars because it’s great for me. If you’re looking for saunas and steam rooms and group exercise “classes” there’s probably other options for you (though not at this price point). If you’re interested in a tried and true variety of exercise equipment, and friendly, knowledgeable training experts at a fair price - there isn’t a better place. If you’re interested in improving strength or physique or overall health, you can find that here.

24e Hoover is by far my most favorite gym that I have been to. The staff is wonderful, the facility is clean, and the atmosphere is unmatched. Everyone in the gym is so friendly and will stop to talk, encourage you, or help if needed. If you are looking for a gym where you can better yourself and build community this is the place for you.

Great gym to train at. Some of my best workouts have happened at this gym. Way better than the old Golds Gyms before they went out of business. This gym has solid equipment without the frills and IMO it functions and hit the muscles better than the brand new equipment on the market.

24E is by far the best gym in the greater Birmingham area and that can be said for either the Hoover Pelham or Birmingham locations they have an excellent courteous friendly personable staff The majority of equipment that you could train with excellent amenities as far as the locker rooms steam rooms sauna punching bags etc I've been a fitness nut for 7 years trained at various locations in different regions of the country and 24E is the best experience I've had

The staff at 24eHoover are excellent. They really make the guests and members feel like family. The manager is Daniel who is always working to make the customer experience the best. Dalton really cares and motivates members to achieve the best of their health goals.

Great weight selection….. great staff … always nice and attentive….fun interactive a good place for bodybuilders and powerlifting and regular gym goers looking to get great exercise

This is such an amazing gym to take your fitness goals to the next level. Some of the best original equipment that give you the feeling from the Golden Era of bodybuilding. Especially for legs and back.

I only join this gym because my PT was located here. However, the staff isn't friendly and doesn't ever speak to their customers when entering the establishment. I ask a staff member to move a bar one time that was heavy for me to move and his response was no, and I had to ask why it’s that part of your job to assist when asked. Early morning there’s no one there to help with questions or concerns you have to come back which is an inconvenience & when someone is present they just sit there on the phone. The TVs barely work and I have never seen a cleaning crew truly disinfecting the equipment. I do recommend a front desk assistant to answer the phone and be a friendly face to your business. However, I’ll I’m taken my business elsewhere.

I have been a member for about half a decade, the staff are very helpful and nice! Gym is nice and clean, equipment are a little older but stills gets the job done. They have variety of equipment to use than most gyms around here. Everyone at the gym is very respectful of others(HUGE plus). Gym is very diverse, you got bodybuilders, heavy lifters, beginners, normal lifters(in the gym to stay in shape/look good LOL). It’s a great gym for all, so don’t be afraid to join! Thank you to all of the staff members for always being so nice and helpful!

I've been with this gym since 2012 and no complaints. Love the free weights, space and ability to come at any time of the day. If you're looking for a personal trainer, I'll recommend Nicolette Hayes. She is very talented and has a wide range of options to help with general cardio and strength conditioning. She'll also take the time to understand and customize your workout.

I’m already registered, normally go to Pelham, I want to go to Hoover location today, but the classes scheduled does not appear in the website (Hoover location). I will have to drive over there, just to get it.

I've been going to this gym almost a year. The staff are the most friendly and helpful of any gym I've visited. I always recommend this facility to anyone looking for a gym.

I like it. Nice facility. privately owned. staff is hands-off, and no one is trying to sell you something. Things are a little well-used; you can see the wear and tear, but it's a gym, not a showroom. I go before work and use the showers and change room to get ready, and it has become my morning routine. There are only 3 bathrooms, 2 men, and 1 lady's, so it's not a traditional "locker room." The clientele is pretty diverse; there are gym rats and muscle-heads, as well as older folks looking to stay fit and those of us (like myself) looking to lose weight. This is far from a "spa" with perfect people parading around in color coordinated spandex who barely break a sweat.

Awesome gym. Has all the equipment you could need, plus an indoor track, sauna, steam room, and 3 lane lap pool. Staff is friendly, facility clean, and the pricing is very fair for what you’re getting. Excited to have found a new gym!
