Very nice recreation center. I went on a summer butterfly walk here and the guides were very nice. There were plenty of places to walk with and without paths. The gardens and vegetable gardens were very cool to look at. Plenty of parking and restrooms.

Large grassy area with trails created from mowing. Can be muddy and wet in some area from the rain. It's great for picnic, recreational activities, and dog walk. There are trash cans between the parking area and the large grassy area. There are a couple of portable bathrooms in the far side of the parking lot.

Im sorry I dont care what anyone says but I have to rate it a 5/5 because the prices are reasonable, the pools are awesome, the basketball court is always up to date, and the gym even before Covid had really good cleaning supplies

Pretty good except for the one time I was hiking and got caught in a war between the deer and the cyborg mole people, one of the mole people cut off my toe with a chainsaw...not fun 😑. The Pavillion near the playground is a really nice place for a barbecue though and the park staff are very friendly. Overall a great park.

It's awesome!! Well worth the few bucks to get in, and even if you don't want to pay for the pools, gym, and the many other things inside, you can just go outside and take a walk on the many beautiful trails through woods and open fields, or do another of the countless things to do outdoors. Try it out for yourself! 10/10

A great park with lots of well maintained open green space, playgrounds and facilities. The rec center has swimming, a gym, racquet ball courts, as well as outdoor and indoor tennis courts. It's nice and the staff are helpful.

Absolutely nothing bad yet to say about this place. Total class. It’s a Community Center that is almost resort like! Miss Andrea (MOD) also at the desk when I was there last Sunday. Absolutely PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE and professionalism. Missing nowadays at MANY a place.

We come here for the playground: the kids love it and there are always plenty of other kids to play with. And if you time it right, when they're tired, you can make a quick stop in the library for kids' books. The recreation center has a lap pool with a 12-foot depth as well as a Jacuzzi. The pill is not Olympic length, but it's indoors and year round.

Ida Lee is great, hands down. The amount of things to list, that my family and I appreciate, would go on for miles. - Great Rec Center — Weight room — Group fitness — Trainers — Pool — Kid zone - Great outdoor fun — Tree Walk with all trees named — Paths through woods and open fields — Sport fields — Water park — Events held regularly - Great staff — The park is kept clean — Everyone super nice Instead of keeping the list going for miles, just go check it out!! 10/10 I recommend to every friend

There is so much to live at Ida Lee. Tonight I checked out the hiking trails in the back of the park. If you’re looking for a quick, easy sunset hike on a warm summer evening.

We love ida Lee! Thank you to the amazing swim staff, especially Jill who helped us transition my son into one on one swim classes to help him kick start his swimming experience & meeting him where he’s at, and understanding what we need and want for him as his parents. Thank you to his swim coach Zora who was ever so patient, fun and caring with him and found a way to connect with him. We hope to try again with group classes and we are more than happy to continue his growth with swim because of them!

This is the perfect place for swim lessons! My child had a traumatic experience around water and was scared to go in without floaties. Within a few lessons, his instructor had him putting his face under water and swimming all while having fun. The one instructor Reena (not sure of spelling) is incredible. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Usually great experience for us when we come here. Last night I purchased tickets for today ( I know it let me chose Friday, I wouldn't have chosen Saturday since I couldn't make it that day) anyway .. whether it was an honest mistake on my end or the websites, I was told no refunds after driving 45 minutes to find it was closed. No where on website does it say weekends only, Google still says open. Never have had to ask for a refund before , so to me just a little unprofessional and out of line to not even offer that.

Having lived in Leesburg for over 15 years, I had always assumed Ida Lee must be extremely nice, based on how expensive it is to join. I recently started physical therapy and they hold aqua therapy sessions there twice a week so I finally got to find out first hand. And it is definitely not nice. Don't get me wrong, there are lots of available activities, and if you're a family with lots of members who all want to attend activities I suppose it's cost effective. But if you're an individual who is looking for a nice place to work out or swim, you are far better served going to LA Fitness or some other facility that has the kind of equipment you need. The locker room is skeevy, they have lockers that require a quarter... Each time you lock them. So if you put your stuff in and realize you forgot something? Too bad, that's another quarter. They don't have real shower curtains designed for locker rooms, there are no hooks for your towel (that you better not forget to bring from home) or clothes, and there's only a tiny bench to dress on unless you want to wait for one of the dressing stalls (again without decent curtains). There is a family locker room where the kids are theoretically supposed to go but in reality all the self entitled moms take their kids to the women's locker room, which makes it very uncomfortable to do locker room type things, like, you know, getting dressed. 🤦‍♀️ Basically it is an extremely out of date and run down facility that the town charges way too much to use unless you have a huge family. Do yourself a favor and avoid if at all possible.

This is a great place! The park is clean, well maintained and has an abundance of activities. I mainly go to enjoy the indoor pools at the rec center. There are 3 pools all of which are well maintained. There are ample lanes in the lap pools and they mark lanes according to swimmer speeds for busy times. They also always have a water walking and jogging lane which I really enjoy. The locker rooms are clean and stocked with quarter lockers. The membership rates are very reasonable considering all the amenities the rec center provides from basketball courts to weights to fitness classes and, of course, the pools. A real gem of Leesburg!

Great indoor and outdoor pool. And they have no breaks which makes it nice for the kids swimming.

Great gym if you just need something simple. Other facilities are amazing too. Staff is remarkable.

I come here for personal training and the gym. I love all the staff here -- they are always friendly and welcoming. The folks who man the front desk will start to remember your face and greet you as you come regularly. The gym can be very crowded and full of teens in the evenings however I rarely have any issues doing what I need to do, Generally people leave you alone to do your own thing. Sue, my personal trainer, is absolutely amazing. She is very very encouraging and is great about pacing exercises to my abilities. I have asthma and I'm larger bodied and she's amazing at giving me ample time to recover between sets. She also makes me feel strong and capable when I rarely feel that on my own. Thanks, Ida Lee!

One of the nicest well kept parks in the area. Picture is of the back area beyond the tournament soccer fields. Set up for Schutzhund blind searching.

It’s always peaceful and quiet here during the day. Very clean facility and great fitness classes. Swim lessons are also great because they are tailored to your kids. When I tried a regular swim school, they used an iPad and gave my kids 10 minutes out of 30 because of the way they rotate. Ida Lee is great and the outdoor water park is the cherry on top!

Several species of butterflies. I have found the gardens of various descriptions and specialties to be exceptionally well maintained. Several places to sit down and relax. I also found many species in the demonstration garden and the shared plot garden. No huge crowds. Very few people on most days. Respectful staff. Cant go wrong here.

The courts are always well maintained and the staff makes sure to pick up excess litter every night. The only problem that is noticeable is the high pricing, you are paying double digits for something that is free if you take a 5 min car ride across town.

👍👍 We took our 2 youngest 4/3 with us and had a great time. The road in is sand but don’t need 4x4 we did it in a Hyundai Elantra with no issues. Plenty of parking and picnic tables if you want to eat there. The trail is very well kept and an easy hike for beginners or small children. Not many other p...
