I had to come share my experience with Top Dollar Pawn. From the inquiring phone call til I walked out the door; the service, the hospitality, the knowledge and conversation from staff, I can go on… I can’t even think of a pawn shop in the DMV where I had this level of GENUINE SERVICE. Likely a reflection of the ownership there. Y'all truly helped me for my situation and I am forever grateful for that. You guys landed a customer forever. Deon is very professional and will work to give you top dollar for your items. I needed some quick cash just to hold me over when money got tight and he helped me do just that. Mr.Van is very rude and looks nasty . I would pawn nothing here he steals and lies. thanks for the horrible customer service now I know how to treat people if I want there feelings hurt.

I must say that I had a good time while I was in the store. Good energy, good vibes, and great customer service. I also felt trust in the values that I was given for my items.

I have to elucidate the discrepancies exuded with Top Pawn. This is now the third time that I’ve had an issue. I’ve called to inquire about if they accept certain items. The representative on the phone told me yes. This has occurred on three separate occasions regarding different items. The first item was a monitor, the second I can’t remember, and the third ring light/ backdrop set. The issue is that when you arrive, they exclaim they don’t accept the item and that they are unsure of the representative that gave that information. It’s ridiculous that the employees are incompetent and are unaware. Depending on the day and the agent you speak to they may accept your items. It’s absurd that they lack cohesion. In addition in the realm of luxury handbags, they will always experience a deficit. Top Dollar has used, dingy, over inflated bags on display. I brought in a popular brand limited edition, large handbag. The bag has two imperfections. However I didn’t think it would be an issue since the bags on display resemble those in a thrift store. Specifically the dirtiest Couch bad and this peeling Donney and Bourke Initially when I brought it in, I was offered a low ball offer. There is a similar version, extra small, non limited edition listed at the same price as a new one. I was perplexed by the offer, I initially declined. I brought it in about a week later, but this time o got a different rep. This time, he exclaimed to me that they generally would turn the bag away because of the imperfections. This time I was offered an even lower price even though the imperfections were the same. The point is that depending on the representative, and the day, you may or may not reciprocate assistance. The assistance you receive as a consumer is based on the employees discretion which is preposterous.

The store customer service was great! They had a lot of things that I would like to go back to purchase.
