Ate here a few months ago with some friends and absolutely loved it. Got this croissant sandwich with bacon and avocado and other things and it was absolutely amazing. Also got this really really good brownie with Reese’s Pieces in it. And some chips. We ate outside and they had a nice area to sit and eat. Also all the sandwiches are made fresh to order and have the best ingredients. I would definitely eat here again if I’m ever in the Charlottesville area. One of the best sandwich places I think I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend!!!

First visit was fine, subsequent visits have been less than acceptable. Sandwiches offered but ingredients weren't available. Female making sandwiches was crude and rude. Manager heard this and did nothing. Do not stop unless you have unlimited time and expectaions.

This is some of the best rotisserie chicken in Charlottesville! As a landscaper I need something filling while not too weighty and this hit the spot!!!

I love their food! they have the best sandwiches, their biscuits and gravy is my guilty pleasure and their chicken salad and Avocado salad are among my go to food when I need to pick up lunch. I wish they had their Curry chicken salad more often though! Whenever we have guests that we need to buy lunch for at work, we order from here.

I always find the customer service people at "The Market" to be exceptionally friendly, helpful, and eager to ensure that their customers have a positive experience. Wonderfully located their store is always clean and inviting. Their custom sandwiches are simply the best in Charlottesville. The Market at Bellair is simply the best.

The Market at Belmont has become my new favorite place for sandwiches and subs. My wife is hooked now too. On our most recent trip it was a pleasure to see watch the staff visibly happy while doing their work and interacting with each other and the customers. For a miserably hot day where everyone else seemed to be exhausted and trying their best just to keep going in the heat, the crew were chatting, and even dancing while doing their jobs behind the counter. It was just the lift ai needed to recover from a long and draining day. I went because of good experiences in the past, for this visit the staff interactions were just what I needed to turn a bad week into a chance to leave that behind and start looking forward to the weekend. The food was prepared well, the shop was clean, service was fast, and the selection was great. The attitude of the staff set the experience apart from many of the other quick food choices in town.

This is a great place for a picnic before hiking at Humpback Rock. Plenty of great food and drinks inside with tables and chairs on the back patio.

Best breakfast in town for $5.99. Bacon, eggs and potatoes. The staff are always friendly. Just a nice way to start the day.

Got some chicken and dumpling soup and almost swallowed a big chicken bone . Trying to kill a man . I’m glad it was me and not a child though. 9$ to nearly choke on a bone is not a good experience.

The Market is so much more than a gas station and convenience store, it's a gourmet deli. Try their soups, the clam chowder is my favorite. Favorite sandwiches include the Ednam, the Jefferson, and the Hooville. The Market is a community staple and supports local organizations. Very excited to have one in the Ruckersville area now.

Wow. I can’t believe how much this placed has changed for the worst since my last visit. I’ve been eating here since the 1990s and was so sad to see what it’s become. My order was totally wrong despite being inputted via screen. Wrong meat and no pickle (extra charge) to start. The bread was stale and then tomatoes were basically mush. They no long carry any good chips or any real variety of sides and no longer have any premade entrees. It’s just a gas station with poorly made sandwiches now. Sad.

You can't get a freah sandwich. Staff is useless. Place is a dump. Website is sooo misleading. I'm from NY and drove 15 miles to get here after reading their web site to be disappointed. STAY AWAY! TRUST ME.

A classic place to stop for your needs on the west side of Cville. Great little store that I've been going to since I was a kid. Great sandwiches too.

In addition to the great food, the staff at the Market is always so nice and welcoming. I almost always feel better when I stop by. I also enjoy the perks from the rewards program.

We always take our grandson out for a meal on his birthday, and of course go where he likes the food… So he had a choice of anywhere in Charlottesville to eat… No matter the price… And he chose the Market at Bellair. My first thought was how could a sandwich at a gas station be special… Wow… Was I wrong… A wonderful sandwich… Blew me away! :-).

My son and fiancé love the sandwiches at Bellair. I love the points to get cents off on gas and how helpful the people at tiger fuel headquarters are when I forgot to add my number at the pump. With a picture of my receipt I was credited the points. Thank you!

My husband and I stopped by here today to get couple of subs. He got the Ednam and I got the Ivy. 🥖 Was delicious 😋. Listen y’all, I grew up in NY, the place of subs and I can not recall one so crunchy! I would’ve paid just as much just to eat the bread!! They got some great side including an awesome potato and macaroni salad. Great place to stop by even if just passing through or wanting to sit outside during a nice weather like we did!
