It's a really nice place

My recent visit to a coffee house turned into one of the most stressful experiences I've had in a while. We arrived at 18:30, only to find the place packed to the brim, with a level of noise that wasn’t just loud—it was almost soul-crushing. To make matters worse, the air was thick with smoke, and the dim lighting gave the space a suffocating atmosphere. Sadly, with no time to search for another spot, we had to endure it.When I approached a waiter at the door to ask if there were any available tables, I was met with a brusque and borderline rude response: 'Be there.' Not exactly the welcome I had hoped for. Still, we decided to stay and give the coffee a try, as we had heard great things about it. I ordered a fasting macchiato, and my girlfriend ordered water along with a caramel drink, the name of which escapes me.Then came the true disappointment—the macchiato. To put it simply, it was the worst macchiato I’ve ever had in Addis Ababa. Words can’t describe how unpleasant it was, and I honestly couldn’t believe my taste buds at first. At this point, we were both frustrated and ready to leave.When the bill came, it was 340 birr, presented without a receipt. I asked the waitress, whose name was either Hana or Hanan, to bring one, and only then did we settle the payment.What started as a routine visit to grab coffee and discuss some business turned into a nightmarish experience. From the rude service to the terrible coffee, it was a visit I won’t forget for all the wrong reasons. Needless to say, I won’t be returning.

Fili Coffee is the only good coffee place in Buna Ena Shay. The place looks good and provides great customer service. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist. The ambiance of the place is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy your coffee. The seating area is comfortable, and the interior is nicely decorated. Fili coffee is among my favourite coffee shops in Addis, and this branch is perfect location wise, Mexico area is the center for every activity. I love their coffee as usual. The waitresses(Adey), she was super humble and nice. I highly recommend it to everyone.
