This place might not necessarily look the part but the food is outstanding! I love Indian food and eat it a lot, and the vegan thali was one of the best Indian meals I've had - I was gobsmacked! You should 100% drop in if you're in or around Sideman :)

Great food!!! Very good Indian food restaurant.. Dosas are on another level. Very tasty sambhar. Pani puri was outstanding. Onion rings were good too. Overall, a very good place to have indian food during your Bali tour.

I give 5 stars for the food and service. Qnara serves delicious authentic Indian dishes in the middle of stereotype cafe foods in Candidasa. Really gives refreshing diversity to foods choice to get there. From rice, paratha, tandoori, thali paneer, all there for you to choose. So many major spelling mistakes on the menu, and the place is quite warm with floor fan only, but all forgiven with their foods taste.

Everyone has mentioned this so I’m going to go ahead & mention it anyway. Do not be turned off by the appearance. This isn’t like a proper restaurant that you would expect but rather like a Dhaba style place. Food here is amazing…most authentic Indian we have had in Bali till now. And the surprising thing is that both owner & chef 👨🏽‍🍳 are not Indians but Balinese! The food tastes like proper Indian like we would have it back in India. We don’t even get this taste in Sydney. I would recommend this place to anyone who visits this. Please do dine in here atleast once. We went for dinner the day we arrived & then skipped complimentary breakfast in resort & went to Qnara for breakfast. Daal tadka, eggs bhurji, romaali roti, paneer chilli dry, masala dosa, masala tea, you order anything & you won’t be disappointed! Located at a mere 200m walking distance from Candi Beach Resort & Villas.

Excellent value for money. Generously large servings... Qnara have a massive menu with many great and desirable options to choose from...you will not get bored reading thru this menu though, as they all looked & sound so appetising...all 10-12 pages of them...which was great to have. All the meals that we ordered were deliciously flavoured. The chicken samoosas were to die for 😍...we ordered both the chicken breyani and the mutton breyani with yellow pea dhall, so fresh, these are unlike anything I've eaten in Bali ever...the meats were so succulent, never thought we would find such fresh mutton, lamb in Bali. Reminded me of late my mum...the way she made her samoosas (but in flat triangular wrapped shapes), also the delicious indian meals you will find in Durban, South Africa (my place of burth) 🇿🇦...now an Aussie (Perth)... Congrats 👏 to the owner, staff and especially the chef 👨‍🍳 Kudos 👏 P.S - Only downfall is the location, very secluded and felt unsafe...would do well in a much better location , good luck and God bless 🙌 👍 🙏

Highly recommended original Indian cuisine with friendly customer service and attention to detail. "Must have" dishes: chicken tikka masala, daal tadka, methi malai mattar, butter chicken, channa masala, garlic naan, methi tepla. We'll definitely come back 👌

Like a lot of other people mentioned, the looks of this restaurant almost put us off as it is very barebones in appearance. Don’t let it put you off, though, as the food is great! We ordered the chicken tikka masala, chilli chicken, and daal, with garlic naan and chapatis, and we loved it. I come from an Indian background in the UK and while the food here was different than what I was used to, I appreciated the taste and homely touch the food had. If you’re in Sidemen, I definitely recommend eating here as it wasn’t just the best Indian food we had here but the best food overall!

Don’t be afraid by the first look of the place ! Really nice food ! The tika masala and the cheese naan was super hummy ! The boss are really friendly !

This place is amazing - we came back two nights in a row! The food is incredible and so much better than majority of the Indian food we’ve had back in London. A hidden gem - the interior may not be the most inviting but the food is 10/10 and the lady who works there is so lovely.

Enjoyed an excellent meal with my wife here last night . Chicken shashlik ( made specially for me on request), prawn and vegetable curries together with side dishes and bread all beautifully cooked. Not sure about previous comments but this is a restaurant and very nice too - nicely presented and very clean .Inexpensive and charming service with a smile and we highly recommend it.

We spend a long stay in Candidasa. We regularly visit this restaurant and it has never disappointed us with great food and fantastic service. We definitely recommend the place.
