FLAC is such pleasure to take our pets! Dr. MAC is truly compassionate and has such a wonderful bedside manner with both us and our pets. Not only does he ensure our pets are comfortable but he takes a much time as necessary to explain everything in detail and what options we may have. As if it couldn't be any better the staff is always so prompt and pleasant to work with. They all truly love what they do and it shows.

Although my cat looks grumpy, she's quite pleased with how she was handled today. Thank you for being so wonderful with my kitties!

Wow! We are beyond blessed to have found our forever Vet home. Dr. Griffin and his staff are so amazing. We established our pregnant German shepherd as a new patient and they were so encouraging and helpful throughout her pregnancy. We couldn't wait to send pictures of our new litter. Today was their 8week check up and we were greeted with gift bags and unparalleled sweetness and 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 star treatment from Cassie. Kayla is an amazing Vet Tech and Dr. Griffin spent as much time as we needed examining and answering all our questions. I highly recommend Forest Lakes Animal Clinic 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

My dog and I had such a wonderful experience! All of the staff are extremely friendly, educated, and sooo sweet! My poor dog gets very anxious at the vet but Dr. Lewis was so calming and gentle I could tell my pup felt much more comfortable. If I could give this place a 100 star rating I would!

I have been a client of FLAC for many years with many cats. All the vets are excellent (I use Dr Small). They do not try to push unnecessary tests or procedures. The vet techs seem to be very well-trained and the office staff is always friendly and helpful. They take good care of my pets and me!

All of the staff are so kind and friendly. Dr. Small is super wonderful with my little baby. Highly recommend them if you're in need of a vet for your fur baby.

Moved back to Bradenton and so happy to see Dr. Small is still in the area and has an amazing team! My dog had an urgent need and they saw him quickly and performed surgery right away. He is healing so well and back to his happy self. I highly recommend the team at Forest Lakes for their care and attention to our furry loved ones.

I have been going to the same vet office for over 20 years, and a few years back, they changed hands, and I can't fully express how wonderful it has been and how smooth the transition was. I have seen the vets there for check ups, emergencies and sometimes just for advice. My last "emergency" was treated with respect, concern, and reassurance, and a solution. And my dog, Cheyenne, while she may not "enjoy" going to the vet, she doesn't run out the door when we go in. I was also pleasantly surprised that it didn't cost a fortune, for the visit, medicine, a shot, and follow up. THANK YOU!!!

Absolutely had an amazing experience today with the team we had at Forrest Lakes Animal Clinic. Bailey loved his nurse and doctor and while he loves everyone, he’s always been very anxious with new people grabbing on him. He received an ear cleaning, nail clipping & drilling, vaccinations & cheese wizz along with probably half the bowl of treats for being a good boy! No one loves going to the vet but honestly , Bailey and I won’t be nervous the next time we have to come back.

My husband and I had to put down our 8 year old ferret, and did not know where to go. We called everywhere and finally we were able to make an appointment for this place! They took us in and were so friendly!!! They treated us with so much kindness the entire trip and sent a sweet card in the mail for us. The card had our ferrets paw prints in it. I highly recommend this vet!!!!

Forest Lakes Animal Clinic (FLAC) is a very well-run, compassionate animal hospital. In my experience, Dr. Small is very conservative in his practice of veterinary medicine meaning he is not one to order every single test out there for your pet in order to come to a conclusion that might just need a “wait-and-see” approach. This is always very much appreciated. He is also very smart and will provide a detailed answer to questions if you ask for it. Debra at the front desk (and whose lovely voice you will hear when you call) is among the very best in her position. She will always go out of her way - above-and-beyond - to make the client happy. She is a welcome presence for me when I am at the clinic, and I always look forward to seeing her. With some wonderful Vet Techs employed by FLAC, Anna always does a superb job on my cat’s ears and nails, and a shout-out goes to Raphael (he is somewhat new, so I hope I spelled his name correctly) who was professional and thorough (and also very nice) when I was there for my latest visit. With too many great staff to mention, a heartfelt thanks goes out to all for looking after my pets all these years!

My neighbor asked me to pick up her cat from the Vet the other day and I had a pleasant experience with a very nice employee at the front desk. I believe her name was Deborah. She was very pleasant and helpful and informed me about some of the services they offer such as boarding and the rates seemed very reasonable. We are planning a family vacation this summer and this is definitely a place I would feel comfortable leaving my pet.

Was referred to the clinic because we needed a last minute visit for our very sick, old Guinea pig. They worked us in on their lunch break. We had to euthanize our friend, they were kind, compassionate and gave us plenty of time. I felt the charge was more than fair. Thank you, I think you are the clinic I have been looking for.

Everybody here is top notch. They're so polite and genuinely concerned for our pets. They treat our pet rats with the same concern as our pet cats. My opinion? Best vets office in Sarasota.

Great front desk and the techs are always so awesome and accommodating. The doctors are always informative and efficient. I bring both my dogs Cashy and Rexie there, always a good experience with great prices. 10/10 recommend!

This past May I took my mini schnauzer in for her annual exam and vaccinations. Explained to Dr Small she coughing after she drank her water. He replied that is normal, my little girl has a history of enlarged heart. Now, as a pet owner I should not need to tell a Veterinarian how to practice animal health. He should have completed another heart score evaluation. How she has two episodes of congestive heart failure and will be going to Perdue University cardiac clinic for animals for an evaluation.

Love this Vet office and would highly recommend. I take my dogs here and always get great service. Try them you won’t be disappointed.

Best vet I've ever worked with. I have an 8 lb dog and he treats her as an individual. So many previous vets have tried to give her generic care that doesn't acknowledge her size.

We have been with them for years. Very good experiences from them with our small dogs. Always willing to help, attentive & caring. Excellent Dr's & friendly staff.
