part 2 The comments about management are misleading and some are friends of the workers. Bianca was horrible and I have well documented email exchanges of events and conversations. She actually the one who admitted to me about the price fixing scandal, shes the one who told when I said "You cant just use it as an excuse to not close the gate or fulfill your contractual obligations" she responded "watch us". The email exchanges right after to the parent company will enforce this story, if any manager actually cares. The front office Bianca included lied constantly about issues, covered them up, refused to fix easily fixed issues, and honor contractual obligations, all the while maintaining an attitude that is by far one of the worst i've come across in my years of property management. The maintenance man was nice, but never did any job correctly or followed request. I saved the apartment complex thousands of dollars by urgently alerting them of a flood on 3rd floor. I was met by more hostility and a room that never dried. So some units are growing mold as we speak as well due to property negligence. Another note every subcontractor they hired was horrible, even my cabinets were crooked. My initial maintenance request they told me they just couldn't fix one of my lighting fixtures that was crooked bc it was subcontractor. That's the level of negligence and arrogance I received from them.

My roommate and I have toured 81 West today and just wanted to mentioned that our leasing person Bianca was amazing. She made us feel welcomed and answered every question we had. The community was well maintained and the apartment was spacious and clean. Me and my roommate chose to go with another community that was a little closer to our job but would of rented purely because she was great and friendly. We truly felt welcomed.

This place is the biggest joke I have ever seen! Bianca and Taylor, in the office are immature and incapable, unable to manage the place. They can’t get anybody to live there. The place is sinking. They can’t fix anything. They overcharge for gates, and other amenities that they don’t allow you to use the gates are broke because the building is sinking. There is a sinkhole at the front gate no water pressure they are doing nothing to fix any of this. I would not recommend anybody to live in this apartment complex. People are moving out by the day because it is such a joke and a nightmare. You Definitely do not get the quality of living you pay for!

Bianca was absolutely amazing and helpful with the move in process. The staff here genuinely care about their residents. I was late during the move in process and arrived after hours but Bianca stayed and made sure I was taken care of even though it was a Friday. She made sure all my questions were answered and that all my needs were addressed. The community is very well maintained and my apartment is spacious and clean.

When I relocated to Fort Myers I visited a number of other apartment communities. I choose 81 West and I’m very happy with the decision. Great, responsive staff and quiet, peaceful setting. The entire property is well-cared for. Great apartment and amenities.

I absolutely love this apartment! The amenities here are top-notch, and I appreciate how well-maintained everything is. The gym is fantastic, and the pool area feels like a resort. Plus, having a dedicated parking spot is a huge convenience. One of the best things about this place is the location. It's so convenient to have grocery stores, restaurants, and parks within walking distance. I've really enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and all it has to offer. The property management team has been great to work with, always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my decision to call this apartment home. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to live!

This was so easy! Everything was ready for me my apt is absolutely beautiful the pool is amazing I simply LOVE this complex! These girls have gone above and beyond to make my move in experience smooth easy and I couldn’t be happier that I chose 81 west as my new home!

I enjoyed my 3 years at 81 West. Taylor, Bianca and the maintenance guys are very helpful and efficient. The reason for the low rating is as followed, First of all, I paid to have a walk in shower due to problems with my ankles it was difficult to step over the tub, the shower has been an issue all along the It ,took their vendor took 3 weeks to install it and it had drainage from the start, it was never fixed. My lease expired the 14th of this month and I gave notice that I would not be renewing it. On the 13th I went to the apartment for a final check and to clean the apartment , then at 5pm I handed the key fob into the office. Yesterday I received a certified letter from 81 West with a bill which stated the key fob was handed in,a day early and due to my lease expiring on the 14th I had to pay rent for that one day.
