Great service and good home cooking. Prices are reasonable and offers good portions. This place is known to be a favorite of a lot people working in the downtown district. Cozy atmosphere and lots of seating. There’s also lots of free parking and easy to find.

Got seated immediately. Friendly staff. Always delicious food. Cooked how you like it. Huge servings. Yum yum. They have alcohol hand wash at every table. They really care about their patrons, and it shows! Cookies to go😊 Such a cute tea glass. (See photo)

Got a chicken club wrap with bacon & tomatoes and side of cottage cheese. Food was fresh & good including bacon. Would have liked a pickle included. Good sized wrap & value.

This place is one of the best little diners I've ever been to! Everything is homemade and fresh! The staff makes you feel welcome and part of the family! I got the corn beef egg Benedict, instead of the muffin I subbed a biscuit! The last time I got as in the menu with the muffin and it just didnt flow as well. Their biscuits are the best , and beat out anyone. still one of my favorite places to grab lunch/breakfast in fort Myers.

First time coming here and based on previous reviews, I thought I would check it out. It’s nice to see a local business thriving. First off the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. However, the hash browns and bacon that I ordered were soaked in grease. The bacon was nothing special and very fatty. The hash browns were soaked in a pool of grease, so it was a huge turn off when trying to eat them. Not sure if I will visit again as it’s really not anything special for breakfast.

The Oasis restaurant is a staple. Celebrating their 29th year in Fort Myers, this restaurant is a favorite of locals. The food is always excellent, the staff friendly and the two ladies who own the joint make a point to visit every table. Known for their delicious, gigantic pancakes, their lunch and dinner items are equally wonderful. 🍽😋

What an awesome find. We dined here during the time where you could want lunch (which I did) or breakfast (like my wife did) and were pleased to learn that they serve most items all day long. She had the hangover omelette with grits and rye toast and I had the chopped steak with mashed potatoes and corn. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding! This is definitely somewhere we will visit again.

We have been frequenting the Oasis Restaurant for over a decade. We have always been patient as they have dealt with hurricanes, Covid, staffing issues, changes in management and numerous other challenges. During these years, it has not been unusual to have to wait for a half hour after ordering for our food to make it to our table. But today was particularly bad between waiting over 45 minutes with no apologies or explanation other then “They are cooking your corned beef hash ‘well-done’ .” That’s it. Nothing more other than attitude. It doesn’t take an hour to cook a breakfast. And, during this extended wait, tables that had been full of diners when we ordered, they had departed, new parties had arrived and ordered and they we enjoying their breakfasts. The waitress began to avoid us and when we finally managed to get her attention and we inquired as to what was taking our order so long, all she said was that they were cooking my order “well done” and she walked away from us. We did something we had never done in the 60+ times we’d been there, we got up, walked to the receptionist and complained about the service and our long wait, paid for our beverages and departed. We never got an apology or any attempt to rectify the situation. Sadly, after a dozen years, we say goodbye to the Oasis.

My parents have raved about Oasis since they went for breakfast a few months ago. Today I was able to go for breakfast with my dad. To say my experience was 5 star is an understatement. Our waitress, Joy, was polite, prompt, and awesome. We were taken care of from the moment we walked in. Our food came out as ordered and was steamy hot and delicious! The owner was even walking around to check on guests and to ask how their morning was going. I was extremely impressed with our entire experience and will definitely be making this a regular spot!

The reviews had me at “old time feel” and it did not disappoint. Something about the setup, friendly waitstaff, music playing, and the smell of the home style food just make it very special as soon as you walk in the door! I heard “the pancakes were huge, you have to try them!” So I did. And they were absolutely huge! But so good! I’ve never had them that thin being that big! But oh so good! And they bring you heated syrup! 😍 I also had the Hangover Omelet since it was the most recommended entree. It was perfect. You might expect a greasy omelet at an old diner, but this was clean and perfect omelet. I swear they must use one of those omelet makers you see on TV, it was loaded yet held together so perfectly! The hash-browns are always an indicator of how legit a diner is for me, and these were solid. A little thicker than I prefer, but still crispy on the outside so I can’t complain. Only turn off for me was the fennel seed in the rye bread, but I understand that’s a preference to some people so I won’t knock it! If anything, it shows their commitment to quality in everything, including the bread. Some restaurants will just buy cheap bread to throw on the side, so this “extra mile” is a good thing!

Let me start off by saying that I am a loyal customer since 2006. My parents even know the owners. I came here this morning for a quick breakfast with my mother. First, we were greeted by waitress, who didn’t introduce herself - and then took our drink order quickly. She proceeded to the kitchen, and returned with two cups. Only one was clean. The other cup had brown spots all over the rim, it was clearly visible to anyone paying attention. Dana the waitress, leaves now for what seems like a century - and we patiently wait for her to return so we can get the cup switched. No one has drank the coffee she brung, since we cannot both enjoy it. She finally returns, and ANOTHER century passes for her to bring a clean cup. All this aside, we did not get checked up on regularly like all customers were. We had to call her attention several times - which was weird to me because the tables both in front and back of me were getting serviced. Unfortunately, this experience has really put a sour taste and my mouth, and my family and I have decided to conclude our annual visits to the Oasis. Not sure if this is how they plan to continue treating customers - I would take this into consideration before Dining here. Thanks, Dana. Edit: go ahead and protect your employees for mistreating a minority customer - although all the tables around us were getting serviced. THAT is why we are not coming anymore. You LOST your integrity, and you’re mind if you think that disrespect will be accepted because of a “bad day”. Reminder: you are definitely not the only breakfast place in town. Wish you the best of luck! You will need it.

All I could taste of the corned beef hash was the onion. The eggs were over cooked. The waitress was great.

This is not a Hotel like Google claims. Not a good place to take anyone you are trying to impress. In serious need of a remodel. I'm sure they have some good home style plates. I ordered a Ceasar Grilled Chicken Wrap and it was horrible. Knowing the labor situation today, I feel guilty about leaving anyone a bad review. On the other hand if I owned a restaurant I'd be there looking and tasting food every day. Especially these days.

It was around the corner of my appt. Busy, but not packed. They're only open 730-2. They've been around for at least 20 years. I had the hangover omelet, home fries, toast, sweet tea w lemon. Delicious, fresh and piping hot. Will go again.

The food was ok but my French dip consisted of 3" thick bread and paper thin slice of meat. The au jus was good thank goodness because that's all I could taste. I will add my coworkers burgers had plenty of meat!

I can’t believe I hadn’t found this hole in the wall sooner. For it being located in downtown fort Myers there is ample parking so it’s in a wonderful spot. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. For having a party of 7 we were sat quickly which was great! The food was wonderful for a good price as well. Definitely will be returning

First time here and really enjoyed the huge omelette. Loved that they leave a carafe of coffee at the table so you never have to wait for a refill and you don’t have to wait forever for the check when you are finished with your meal because they bring it to your table before you are finished Waitress checked on me many times during the meal. Would recommend 😀

Always a great place to eat. We had lunch today, I had just a hamburger (even though there were lots of great things to choose from) and my lunch companion had a patty melt. We were both very pleased with our lunches. This is also a great place for breakfast.

We live in Cape Coral and don't get Ft.Myers to often however we had a mini reunion of old co workers and they picked this place. Cute , great food and wonderful service. If we ever have to be in that area again we would definitely go back.

This was my husband and I new place to eat on Saturday or Sunday morning before he died last month. He loved the Country fried steak breakfast and I would have the waffle breakfast. This time I went was with my mom and it was a bad experience, I did a lot of crying 😢. It's a great place to eat and have great food.

Loved this place! ❤️ Besides gr8 food, affordability & excellent service, they support other local businesses. The walls were covered with local artist pieces. See the image. The epoxy table tops had local business cards. Right down from police station too, so the area is safe. Will definitely 💯 return!

The Oasis has consistently been THE best go-to breakfast and lunch restaurant in town for decades! Always delicious food and very friendly atmosphere. It reminds me of the TV show "Cheers" ..... A place where 'everybody knows your name!'

I love Oasis. The food is always good. But, now that they raised their prices, they are just another high priced restaurant. What used to be $10 is now $14 or $15. We won't be going there as often anymore. There ARE still more reasonably priced restaurants. And, hopefully just a one time thing, it took 45 minutes to get our food today. Not good. The server, though, did a great job.

NEVER DISAPPOINTED! I don’t come as much as I would love to because I don’t want to make it a regular place I want to come and be excited each time because it’s so awesome ! Pancakes are Incredible! Miss that chicken scampi but the chicken wrap is also incredible!

This is my new favorite eatery in Ft. Myers! ❤️ Why? The people here care about what they do, make you feel like family, AND are Ft. Myers strong 💪🏼🌀😎. Can I also mention the PANCAKES?!? I haven’t had pancakes this good, since my Dad’s, when I was a kid. The pancakes were made from a delicious homemade batter, big & rustic with crispy!!!! edges 😝, served with a warm, thick & sticky syrup … simply Heaven. I’m headed back to try more tasty choices…but believe me, I’m going to ABSOLUTELY have the pancakes again…even if it is for dessert 🥰😋.

We have been coming to Oasis for as long as we have lived here a used to frequent alot more when we lived closer. Now we visit when we're in the area. Today service was good as it always is. But the quaily food has seriously declined. The sweet tea was not it's normal delicious sweet tea that I would normally want seconds or to go usually of. We order pancakes that were cold and tuff. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito that was literally dripping with water like liquid it was soggy and cold. We also ordered the old fashioned with grits everything was cold and even though grits were supposedly hot not hot enough to melt the butter or cheese? Yes could have we sent back the food probably but with it being busy and already waiting long enough because it is a holiday weekend. Something definitely changed with the food I was so disappointed and knowing that pricing have gone up because inflation is understandable but the quality and the presentation should be there.

Came here twice. Once for lunch and today for breakfast. Kind of “old time feel” restaurant with friendly waiters. For lunch I had the fried chicken, green beans, and paid an additional 2.75 for sweet potatoe fries. The fried chicken was very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The green beans were seasoned well. The sweet potato fries were kind of mushy and boring. Definitely not worth the up charge. While very salty, I would highly recommend the fried chicken. My daughter ordered chicken strips. Non processed chicken was good but the flavoring was boring, and she didn’t eat much of it. For breakfast today I tried the homemade hash benedict on the English muffin. This was very yummy. I was kind of hoping the meat would look more like meat but was ground to look like mush. The biscuit and gravy was meaty and nicely peppered. The only downside was the waiter told me my biscuit was cold and she was reheating it. That was before even bringing it to the table. I’m not sure how she knew my biscuit was cold and I was not to excited about a microwaved biscuit. The pancakes were huge and the syrup was super hot. She asked if my husband wanted them buttered and he said yes. When the pancake came out it was soaked in butter. A little too much. I would probably ask for butter on the side. Overall it’s a nice place to try out with lots of options, friendly people, and pretty fair prices.

They food was amazing. The staff very friendly and accommodating. We were a group of 20 and they were able to accommodate us without a problem. Great menu selection. Out only problem was deciding what to eat. What we did it was amazing and all 20 agreed. Highly recommend!

Came here while in town for a convention. Servers are sweet and efficient. Food is great! Today is our second day coming for breakfast! Pancakes are literally bigger than the Plate and they give you what seemed like 5 eggs! Come hungry! Will definitely return next time we're in town!

AWFUL customer service. We were placed in the back corner with another couple. We were given menus and then the waitress didn’t show up for quite some time. Once we ordered, we were not acknowledged for 40 mins, and we had to ask about our order (which should’ve been quick - salad and fried shrimp). The other couple had to wait even longer for their order at the other table. The food eventually came out and the waitress never even apologized or acknowledged the very long wait. The other couple found a dirty coffee cup that was given to them, and there was no acknowledgement or apologies for that either. Not sure how this place gets such high reviews - the food was average, and the customer service atrocious.

We have been been to this restaurant about six times for breakfast. The food is overall been very good with good service, so why the 2 stars? We went to the Oasis this week for a mid morning breakfast and we were horrified that while we were eating the Associates were cleaning the dust off of the ceiling fans and the AC vents within a few feet of us and other patrons around the restaurant. It is not likely we will ever visit this restaurant again.

If I could give 100 stars, I would. By far the best breakfast in town, only to be outdone by the wonderful staff. Our server, Joy, was just that. One visit to this restaurant, and we instantly felt like regulars (which we will be, I assure you).
