This place deserves more stars than Google allows. For starters, my wife is currently two days past her due date for our first baby. We came earlier and we’re writing down names for our baby and asked what they all thought we should name our baby on our short list of 5 names. “Levi” was on our list and is my current favorite to name our baby. What Sabrina and her staff responded with is in the photo below. Absolutely blown away by their hearts and how good their food is. They truly make all of their guests feel so special and welcomed. It is at the top of the list if you’re looking for a good breakfast/brunch place. Here’s my four point review, unbiased: 5/5 Original Delicious Food - a ton of their food is made from scratch in house. The pimento cheese is incredible (had it for the first time today) and the Hollandaise is to die for. The waffles are perfection 5/5 Owners and Staff Friendliness - The photo speaks for itself. Was totally surprised by the surprise waffle from such a simple question. My wife and I come quite frequently, and we are always treated so kindly, and made us feel at home when we first moved to Fort Myers 5/5 Restaurant Environment & Cleanliness -The entire property is so unique. The artwork, the Thrifty Garden, the greenhouse. Even inside the restaurant, it has a warm feel and is newly renovated. I really like the waffle design they added on the accent walls. The bathroom is always pristine (biggest indicator of the quality of a restaurant), and they have a small sign at each table to ensure that it’s been sanitized after each use. The restaurant is small, so their may be some waiting time, but the connecting Thrifty Garden is great to walk around and see what neat items or plants they may have. Easily our favorite restaurant in town, would recommend to a friend.

Quality, creative and very delicious food and coffee. This breakfast/lunch spot is so pretty indoors and outdoors with well space dining in both. Its very clean, and offers top notch customer service. Each and every staff member is there to please. Hubby got the pecan pie waffle sandwich with extra bacon and comes with homemade peanut butter. Yummy!! They also have a gluten free waffle option in which they use Bob's red mill gluten free flour. I ordered the side of poached egg with homemade hollandaise sauce over fresh greens and a side of fruit. Deliciousness and quality with a big dose of happiness all in one place. Go you won't regret it

This is such a hidden gem. Took my wife here today for breakfast on our one year anniversary. We were blown away by how unbelievable good the food was. They have unique drinks beverages as well. It's so much more than a waffle. Each signature waffle is paired with some fresh fruits. The flavor of my food was beyond delicious! We were pleasantly surprised. Cozy environment. Friendly helpful staff. Nice decor inside and nice outdoor seating.

Our first time here and am soooo glad we found this place! The cool creative cold coffee drinks were fantastic and the savory waffle sandwiches were amazing. The selections of savory and sweet waffles are incredible. My taste buds were happy! I loved every bite. The staff are very friendly too! So worth it!

Such a cute little place! Make sure you stop by! If you don’t like waffles, don’t come! Every option on the menu is served with a Belgian style waffle and it cannot be removed. There is not a huge selection of food options but every one of them are unique! I love how the coffee is served in mason jar mugs and has such a cute touch to every option! This place is also has a dog friendly patio! The parking is behind the building, you can’t see it from the front! There is also an automatic 19% gratuity added to every order and you cannot opt out, so beware… it is however worth it!

The “tinder date” coffee sub oatmilk was absolutely delicious I loved it and would buy it by the jug. However, after all eating this waffle (same order x4), we felt so nauseous and had an upset stomach for the rest of the day. Pricey for giving us… bowel movements.

Had a very delicious brunch with some friends. Most, if not all, menu items come on a golden brown waffle. They have a unique selection of teas and coffees to pair with your meal. There is a bit of a wait due to it being a small restaurant but we got to enjoy drinks while we waited. The butterfly house is also open, as well as gifts shops to visit while your table becomes available.

Easily one of the best places to eat in Florida. I had the best coffee drinks of my life here and all of their drinks are expertly crafted. It's a beautiful place inside and out full of family history and art. Most all of their food is made from scratch and everything tastes fresh. Recipes are family-owned and passed down and they taste like it 💜. Easily one of my favorite meals I've ever had. Everything is so uniquely made and wonderfully crafted. Every drink and meal is a delicious art form. It is also located next to a beautiful plant nursery and in the same exact parking space as a wonderful butterfly experience 🦋💜 All the employees are very kind and helpful. The outdoor rating was perfect. Will definitely be coming back again! Make sure to stop on by and have some waffles and amazing coffee!

I just want to start off saying their food is very unique and tastes amazing. Coffee is great too. Staff is super friendly and the place is cute. However, beware of the prices and added fees. Also wait times. I ordered 3 waffles and 3 coffees. Looking at the menu prices are pretty reasonable, but when we went to pick them up it was between $75-$80!!! Did not add up at all with what I ordered. The screen asked for a tip amount and I gave 15%, then turns out once I got the receipt they ALREADY add gratuity to the bill plus a takeout fee?? They failed to mention that before I put the extra tip on there. Here’s a breakdown of what I ordered: -two of the pb& j waffles- $11.45 each -one “seriously” waffle- $13.45 -three iced raspberry tails- $5.45 each so really it would have cost $52.70 plus tax. my 15% tip should’ve made it around $60. But the gratuity they don’t mention they add plus the takeout fee added between $15-$20 extra, so in total between $75-$80. I personally am all for added gratuity when actually dining in, as I also depend on tips for a living. but I don’t think it’s right to add it to the bill since it was a takeout order. plus an additional takeout fee. 3 waffles and 3 coffees should NOT cost almost $80. almost all places I go to don’t add fees or gratuity to takeout(I order takeout very often). I tipped them 15% because I usually tip on takeout, but I don’t if the service is bad. I wish I never tipped that since they sneakily put it already on there. and if I saw the takeout fee I wouldn’t have tipped at all. the false wait time alone I shouldn’t have tipped as much but I did because the girls were friendly. Not to mention they told me to pick up in 15 mins. I showed up after 20 mins and had to wait an extra 30-40 mins once I got there. so probably an hour total. which an hour wait is fine in general since it’s busy, but I was upset that they told me to be there in 15 and had to wait in my car for a pretty long time. I would have been fine with waiting to leave my house if I knew it was going to be that long. So in short the food is great, and if you’re okay with unnecessary fees then there shouldn’t be an issue. I just wish it was mentioned to me before I showed up, otherwise I wouldn’t have ordered or would have ordered less food. I would only come back if those fees are adjusted, because food is great

My first ever experience at the bullig did not disappoint at all. Sadly, they don't serve orange juice but the blueberry iced tea made a perfect substitution. The food itself is top of the line. I enjoyed the Omage with a poached egg on the side. Delicious and fulfilling. I will be back!

We drove all the way from Lakeland (2.5 hours) to enjoy the amazing food at Bulig. COVID has caused them to make some changes but, the quality of the food has not been affected one bit. The friendliness and atmosphere are also intact. Yes, we will drive back to this amazing place again.

This is such an amazing cafe. The staff is amazing and the food was the best I have had on my whole trip. I recommend the Seriously waffle. It is seriously amazing. They also have options for people that are lactose intolerant. Definitely a spot you have to check out if in town or at the nearby museums.

Easily the best coffee AND best waffle I've ever been served. Really sweet staff, great location and atmosphere, and I appreciate that the menu is ethically priced so that staff are paid and tipping is not mandatory.

I ADORE THIS PLACE. First time I came with my spouse was for Valentines last year, the manager there thought we were a cute couple and gave us an extra whole waffle free on top of our order, which was just as delicious as everything else here. It's kind of out of the way for us which is the ONLY reason we're not there just about every week, but every time I've eaten here I find something new that blows my mind. Staff are super kind and attentive, the coffee and food is made with super fresh ingredients and tastes amazing every time, the cafe is adorable and so is the garden shop, art gallery and butterfly garden. If you're on the fence about trying this place, do it, it's seriously one of the nicest restaurants I've been to and I've traveled a LOT. The 100% cotton, 'Omage, Seriously and OK dad are my personal faves but I'm pretty sure I could order anything here and love it.

Pros: Dog friendly on the patio. Beautiful ambiance amongst the trees and flowers. Great coffee drinks. Unique take on waffles. Cons: Confusing menu ordering process if you're not tech savvy (they do have paper menus). The homemade peanut butter is creamy, but is way too much on their dishes which overtakes the flavor of the dish itself. Confusing surcharges on everything you buy. No way to have an open tab unless you order everything at once. Can get very crowded on weekends with long wait times; I'd suggest coming as soon as they open to secure a table.

Absolutely delicious food. Everything was seasoned perfectly regarding the savory waffles. I didn’t think I’d be so impressed by a waffle. Price is a little high in my opinion for the portion, but the quality is definitely there. Service was great too. There was a small wait when we arrived, but were able to explore the store next door and sip margaritas while we waited.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s literally tucked into a butterfly garden setting with an artist co-op right up the sidewalk. Delicious coffee (oat and almond milk available!) and amazing, creative waffles! They can make any waffle vegan or gluten-free, which is fantastic for those with allergens. You can sit outside on the patio among the gorgeous foliage. This place is a must-visit if you’re near downtown Fort Myers!!

Visited while in town visiting our daughter. Cute little spot next to the Butterfly Estates. Waffles were so light/fluffy and tasty. We had the Omage and Original Gangsta. The Omage had plump Blueberries and the combo with the blueberry and vanilla sauces were fabulous. The photo was my daughters Original Gamgsta (I had tucked into mine too quickly for a photo) Make this a stop when I’m Ft Myers.

I didn't know what to expect when the invite came to me. It wasn't your typical coffee house. Seating was outside on a deck with floral everywhere. They went all out ensuring customer safety and separation. The food, when looking at a menu seemed unlike anyplace I've been. I got the schollen(may be spelled incorrectly). It was basically a hot roast beef sandwich on a waffle. Not my typical go to order, but I tried it anyway. The house made horseradish could've been eaten with a spoon and I imagined my food so fast I'm not even sure I tasted it. The place was great and the owner, so incredibly kind with a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back. Oh. Next door was a plant store and next to that was a mini art store. Next time, I'll get pictures

My wife and I stopped in here while she was visiting for business. This was one of if not the best breakfast I have had in my life. Everything on the waffle worked so well together. Drinks and service were great and really nice atmosphere sitting outside on the porch. I highly recommend stopping in here and getting one of the savory style waffles.

My wife and I had been looking for a place such as this one in Fort Myers for years and I am happy to say we finally found one! Every single aspect of this restaurant blew us away, from the service (so friendly and caring) to the food and drinks (to die for)! A little more on the pricey side, this eclectic coffee shop has really unique coffee offerings and breakfast options. The classic waffle was exactly what we needed with a side of fruit. So fresh! This adorable hole in the wall is one of the best breakfast/lunch places I have ever been to!!! The atmosphere is just immaculate!!!! The food, the plants, the aesthetic, the shops filled with gorgeous art, and the beautiful butterfly garden!! I would live here if they’d let me!! The owners are so friendly and welcoming. I love them both!! Had a little ladybug friend join us for breakfast this morning it was such a calming experience! Love how the owners are taking this pandemic seriously and are having people eat outside. I was a little warm but the outdoor space was mostly shaded so it was a comfortable temperature!!

Super busy during COVID times they could improve their process for busy days but they seem to be doing pretty good for the amount of staff they got, people just don't realize they need to know what to order when they get to the front and good luck getting a seat. Everything will take "30" minutes. Still gets 5 stars cause it's delicious and they are definitely super busy

I’ve been here a few times prior to covid and it is of course fantastic: 10/10 with a wonderful atmosphere and absolutely fantastic food. However, after months of staying home due to covid, and suffering from an extreme case of covid fatigue, me, my husband and our 2 year old decided to visit today (August 2020), and were blown away with how amazingly well they have adapted to this covid environment. They’re currently offering outdoor seating only and have a table set up by their door which clearly displays their menu, and has a bell to ring to call a member of staff out to place your order. They stand well back and are gloved and masked and all outdoor tables (which are placed very far apart) are completely disinfected between each patron. Despite all of the extra processes, food comes out in a really timely manner. Kudos to Bullig. They’re a shining example of how a company can truly care for the wellbeing of their staff and their customers, whilst also still operating their amazing menu during this crisis period. If only all places took this much care, people who are cautious of catching covid would be able to get back to a closer semblance of normality.

Brunch so good I wish I lived closer so I could eat here every day. A full page of savory waffle "sandwiches" along with a full page of sweet waffle choices. I tried the fig/goat cheese/honey one as well as the poached egg/avocado/aioli split with a friend. I also got the iced honey latte. Everything was perfect. So tasty. Service was friendly andattentive. Dog friendly seating outside. If you want a mimosa, the cute garden shop next door sells them and you can bring it to the table. Really cozy atmosphere on the porch surrounded by plants. There are little shops, a butterfly garden and an art gallery in the same plaza, so lots to do.

We love this eclectic restaurant! We've been here before Covid, but we love it all the more now. They are very conscientious. They have appropriately distanced tables with outside seating only (as of the beginning of Nov), they clean the tables well, and wear masks. Truly a great experience combined with their always kind and great service. Their food is fun and creative. I enjoyed the Seriously?! a lot! My personal preference with it would be to have more brie and less Nutella, but it's a great flavor combination! My wife got the bullig and it was fantastic. It had a great balance of savory, sweet, fresh, and hearty. The green aioli made it. I also really enjoyed their pumpkin latte! It wasn't crazy sweet or overwhelming with pumpkin (made fresh in house without syrups). My wife enjoyed her #strongertogether as well. A little sweet for her preference today (it was in the sweet category!!), but very good! It gives you a delicious punch in the face of fresh raspberry!
