Staff and owner rules make sure that you feel oppressed. No night swimming because of insufficient lighting , mask police at the disappointing breakfast bar, and bath towels are rationed out- you have to physically bring your used towel to a receptacle in the lobby to get a replacement. Evening desk clerk is rude and berated my gold status in my account telling me that I got great value for the price we paid! B. S! If you plan to be there more than one night be warned that Rooms only get housekeeping once in three days. Bathroom in my room was dated, tired looking and poorly painted. You can only put so much lipstick on a PIG! Located on the flight path of passenger jets landing at the local airport. No great restaurants in the area. Points or not, we won't return to this location.

I have been coming back for weeks now and I have to say that I am very impressed with the facilities and staff. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure that your stay is an enjoyable and comfortable experience and the staff are becoming like family. Thank you for being here when I need a home away from home.

A very solid place to stay! Rooms were clean despite a bit of wear and tear around the tub grouting, baseboards etc but everything was clean. Check in was easy and breakfast was good with a lot of variety. The pool is outdoor only and only open during daylight, but the area surrounding the pool is beautiful and we used it to eat breakfast and relax. Walking distance to many restaurants including Dairy Queen and a pub. Would recommend this place.

Everybody was super friendly, including the 3 hookers in the parking lot. I felt very safe, especially when the 4 cop cars were next door apparently responding to a burglary. I have to say I was slightly offended that none of the hookers seemed interested in me. I have gained a little weight and I feel like I might hang been discriminated against because of my weight. This may not be the hotels fault. The room was OK. It was very humid in the room, but I just closed my eyes and pretended I was at beach. Aside from that, highly recommended.

Very nice hotel and one of the friendliest staff I have met. The breakfast is outstanding and has a great variety of oatmeal, milk, toast, eggs and bacon, yoghurt, jelly and cream cheese and muffins. You have the choice of having your breakfast poolside, in your room or in the breakfast room. The rooms are clean and feature fridge and microwave as most hotel rooms do

Best place for the price in the area. My dad booked the place and decided to go there based on other reviews. The only issue we had was the fridge. Either it was so cold it was freezing things or not cold enough. Other than that, it was a great place to stay with a nice pool. The place is clean and the staff are nice. Just down the street from Dunkin Donuts too, so if you miss breakfast, this is another good option close by. There is a pizza place close by as well that has good pizza. We picked up to go from there a couple times and we're pretty happy with it. It was nice to have a microwave in the room too for left overs.

awful hotel dirty smelly and liars Review of Best Western Airport Inn went to hotel 9/2 booked thru priceline, front desk could not connect the reservation thru Priceline due to technical issues, so had to cancel reservation with priceline, they refunded my money and had to book thru hotel. I warn you do not due that as your now have zero protection. When i check into my room it was dirty smelly and hot. went to front desk told them i have to go to a baseball game but when i get back they need to change my room. Got back to hotel around 12 am front desk switch me to another room that had the same dirty smelly musty odor and the room was hot as hell. Wanted to check out but it was late my kid was tired so was forced to stay. In the morning told them about the room and let them know i was checking out and would not be staying the remaining 2 nights because the room are disgusting. They let me know that that would not be a problem and they would refund my money for the two nights and also for the night I stayed. I asked to speak with the manger and they said he was not in took my number and assured me he would call me later in the day when he got in. Called never happen, so i called and manger was not available but they assured me again that my card would be credited. 5 days later no refund on card called hotel and manger said he new nothing about a refund and would have to call me on Monday 9/13, yesterday. the manger said that he would not be refunding anything and was extremely rude and inconsiderate. Called the corporate office and the proceeded to do nothing and claimed there is nothing they can do. How can you leave a hotel because the room you are in is dirty with an awful smell not stay the remaining nights be promised a refund and the hotel can take your money. the manger tried to even say we got a refund from Priceline so we didn't pay anything, when I clearly have a purchase from his hotel for 3 nights which bestwestern charged me not Priceline. Is best western that hard up for money that they would take a consumers money that left their hotel because the rooms where NASTY dirty with a musty odor. The manger even responding that Priceline gave us a refund after my post to act like i was given a refund and they did nothing wrong. Yes priceline did give me a refund because we where not able to use Priceline genius as we had to book thru your hotel. Is this how bestwestern does business? I will post often about my dissatisfaction. I tried to speak with the manger will not return calls or answer calls

I have always enjoyed my experience with Best Western, but this time around I was extremely disappointed on how the front desk staff responded and welcomed us. I believe her name was “Cassidy”. She was extremely rude and condescending towards us. She started off with staying your reservation was canceled and Best western was supposed to contact us. It looked like she was checking something in the computer. But I responded her by saying I had called Best western and they did not cancel it, and I never got a call. She then got upset without any reason and said “don’t argue with me” , dismissed me using her hand and went on the back back room. She pretended to call but I didn’t hear her talk, she may have texted- which I am not sure. So, she comes out and tells us- her boss has agreed to let us stay for one night- which was our original reservation anyway and she then adds “you cannot extend”. Of course we would not extend and with her customer service and attitude and will not be returning there. She definitely needs some training in customer service. Nevertheless the receptionist next morning was polite and kind.

This is our third time at Best Western and our last! The first time (several years ago) - we liked everything, the second time it was worse, but this time - terrible! Especially breakfast: absolutely tasteless coffee, overripe bananas and lots and lots of bread! What can a person with gluten intolerance eat for breakfast? There was no cheese at all! There were so few scrambled eggs that some of the hotel guests did not get it at all! And, instead of sausages, there was something disgusting, floating in a puddle of fat !!! Never again in our lives will we stay at the Best Western!!!

Constantly heard people letting their doors slam instead of them being considerate to others. They have pressure tank toilets so you hear them flushing at all times of the night. The breakfast was so-so with not much imagination, subpar bread, low grade breakfast meat. Hallway carpets were nasty looking. The windows are not sound proof so you hear all the loud vehicles on the nearby busy road. The room doors not only slam loud but at least mine had gaps all the way around it so the light from the hallway blasted in all night. Note to anybody staying in a hotel, have some manners and control your door when it shuts because the slam is annoying to all, especially at 6or7 in the morning! Also walk softly if someone is in the room below you. Also note to hotels, dont tell us useless info we already know like no smoking or cooking in the rooms and try reminding new guests checking in that they should remember that others are in the hotel and should be considerate.

Horrible!!! Horrible!!! Do not stay at this hotel. They will double charge you and when you call to ask why, you will get an email address to write to and no one will respond back or refund the money. Do not stay. Horrible experience!!

This hotel has good reviews, which is why I picked it. I try and give good reviews too, but unfortunately it isn’t possible for this business. The lobby reception can only be described as, ‘weird’. The staff are behind glass screens in what appears to be a handmade attempt to be ready for the next pandemic? It’s the sort of appearance that I would expect in an establishment that will rent rooms by the hour. (They can’t hear you very well, as the screens have no gaps in them in front of the staff). The lobby is tired and worn, as is the elevator, with all the plastic press buttons cracked and peeling. The door to my room fitted where it touched, as it had a quarter inch gap all around it. The door guard lock that lets you partially open a door had been forced off and reattached in a flimsy manner. The room was also tired looking. The a/c is a window unit that continuously kicks on and off, light sleepers beware! I have short hair, but someone with long hair best allocate a lot of time to wash their hair, as the water pressure in the shower was pitiful. The whole place needs a rehab, I would not stay again and it has turned me of the Best Western franchise.

A typical Best Western that provides a good comfortable room with breakfast included for a reasonable price. Clean and tidy with pool available too. Millers Ale House close by is good food stop. We'll located on road network to get around local area.

Great experience at this hotel. We just stayed for 4 nights. Staff was friendly, room was cleaned daily, beds were comfortable, breakfast was better than what you would expect at a complimentary hotel breakfast. Far better than Hampton. Pool was nice. Plenty of parking. No noise waking us up overnight. Reasonable price compared to many places in Fort Myers and vicinity. No complaints at all which is rare for any hotel the last few years. Highly recommend this place.

Breakfast was not good at all, couldn't even have my favorites like bacon or egg! Room service didn't happen! So I had to ask for at least some towels to be able to shower. How can that happen to miss cleaning a room! Even I called and asked for service , they said will call me back, half an hour later called ro follow up, they said shift changed, what do you need? Really!

Stayed at the BW for 3 nights the room was nice the breakfast was nice there are a couple of things that I need to point out the bathroom is small just the tub/shower and toilet in the private bathroom which is a little different to me the sink is right outside the bathroom. I also noticed that the coffee area that there was no seats. The desk area had a seat and there was a sofa and a small living room seat. The thing that surprised me was that there were ants in the room, the crazy ants when I woke the up after the first day I noticed them I got some ant baits and after seeing them the whole day the next day they were gone and didn’t see them for the rest of my visit. Also I want to say that the staff here are fantastic they go above and beyond to help. Overall the stay was pleasant not overly noisy for a weekend would stay again. The pool was also nice and the view was fare

Very friendly, concerned, and understanding check-in person. I say "person" she was the best anyone could ever meet. At breakfast, very helpful, buffet-style. Despite the price, I liked the service. I hope the staff at the other BW locations are the same. Thanks

Very clean and presentable place inside and out. Friendly helpful staff. When I checked in. They saw I was a diamond member and told me I could go get two drinks from their beverage cooler. I asked the lady, does it have to be water. She's like no. I could have went over there and hugged her for that comment but I didn't. Cause most of the time they hand you purified water in a bottle, which I'm not a fan of. Got those and went to my room. Ample parking here. Location to anything not sure about cause I had tunnel vision getting there and out in the morning to get to my unload. I didn't look around a lot. Sorry about that. I would definitely stay here again though.

If you’re here for work and decided to order takeout for delivery for there is Uber eats or pizza and you’re still trying to work don’t count on it. This is the only hotel I’ve ever been to that they will not allow the delivery people to come up to the rooms, I’ve been in hotels where you have to have a special card just to activate the elevator, and they still allowed them to come up and deliver the food. The parking is extremely cramped and the rooms are very small. The headboard for the beds have electric attachments and if you move the bed just right it knocks it out of power. I bring a personal fan and all night when I would turn over it would cut off and back on because of it.

I recently stayed at this location and the bathroom was dirty. The shower curtain had stains and the towels had a yellow tint to them from previous stains. The bathroom was also not updated. Don’t let the pictures trick you because it does not look like what it is in the pictures. The carpet in the room has a moldy odor and looked dirty. Long check in time. Over priced waters in the lobby. Very disappointed with my visit.

The hotel was nice. I just had an issue with them addressing a problem with the TV. They didn't act like was a priority or an issue. I just wanted to relax and watch TV after a long day on the road. I was very disappointed ☹️ We were there for a funeral, and we trying to get our mindset ready

Fantastic place to stay, the room I got had a King sized bed, plenty of places to sit and 2 TVs in the room. It was clean, with no odors and had a good view. Staff was friendly and one of the issue I had with staying here was fixed promptly by a very polite maintenance guy. He was in and out of my room in 10 or so minutes. (The other issue is due to Covid and is not their fault.) All in all, a great place to stay and the price was great as well! I would stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you very much.

10/8/21-10/12/21 We booked 3 rooms for a family reunion including international and senior guest. (We even had family members with disabilities). The hotel got flooded on 10/10/21 at around 3 AM and there was no proper plan to notify the guest on our side of the hotel by 9 AM . The evacuation and relocation was done poorly from our point of view. I had a puppy and we were giving the information for another hotel from the chain that was not pet friendly. We only learned this fact once we reached the property even though I had distinctly ask the front desk staff several times before heading to the new property. It all cost a major inconvenience to several members of my family therefore we are demanding our refunds, an apology and compensation for the lack of planning. You could have at least had free shuttles , and reservations to another property. We were displaced for hours, and it was stressful to find rooms for a party of 6 and a puppy on a Sunday in a small town none of us had ever been to before. Not to mentioned it ruined my cousins birthday plans ( 10/10/21). She flew all the way from South America just to celebrate her birthday with family but we ended up searching for alternative accommodations on her birthday. I had no other complaints about the hotel of the chain. I hope Customer Service does right by all the guest. Mary Septimo Mary Fernández Rooms 332, 322 and room 324.

We received very good service at Best Western Fort Myers Inn and Suites. Samantha greeted us immediately and warmly and proceeded to make check-in a breeze. I had spent a minute signed up as a ‘Gold Reward’ member when I made the reservation- it may have even saved me a few $$ - and based on that we were given 2 free beverages from the snack room. We stayed in a suite and it was spacious, clean and well equipped. The only minus is that there is no door between the bedroom and the living area. They are now serving a hot breakfast again and it was plentiful and pretty varied with breads, coffee and juice, yogurt and cereals. They even had a make-your-own waffle machine as well as something I can’t recall seeing before - a make-your-own pancake maker. Bottom Line: I recommend this Best Western when you need an affordable mid-range hotel that will treat you right.

Outside looks fine.Nice staff. We were told masks and gloves are required to eat breakfast. This is end of February 2022 and the mild Omicron is even waning out now. Kind of Ridiculous! But the worst is the odor of an old, musty, damp room.… pretty icky. And the price…$350 a night!!! Robbery! The location is not a prime spot or near the water. Please stop this madness!

I have stayed here twice because it is a “descent” place for the price. However, both times I have checked in later on Saturday night and I am never greeted by the old lady behind the desk. She is rude! She does not have manners and is extremely unprofessional. Karen the cat lady, she should be retired sitting at home cleaning cats litters and minding her own miserable life. I will never stay at this place again! Hotel staff make money thanks to guests, this place needs better customer service. Get rude Karen out of that place.

This hotel is very clean and they care about their property. I stayed here while in town for work for 3 nights and had no worries whatsoever. I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area. Breakfast also is hot and fresh.

  • 1/5 J B. 2 years ago on Google
Please stay away from this place. This place deserves to be shut down, customer service is clearly not a priority. There is an old woman who works at the lobby desk who should do a better job treating customers. She clearly does not know how to treat people, not even a hello upon walking in. She seems depressed and unhappy. Also, breakfast is not good at all. Rooms are just okay. But “Karen” at the front the desk makes your stay miserable upon walking in.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Room had a faint smell but overall was good. Breakfast was hot and had many options. Would stay again as the price was good and it was close to our activities.

The facility was in good, clean condition. During my stay, I needed a CAT5 Ethernet cord for work that I was doing early in the morning. Amilia and Joel found and loaned me the cable. A special note- I was greeted each morning by this Muscovy duck standing by my car even, though I parked in a different location each night.

Very nice staff, room was clean, ample parking, and quiet. About a 20 min drive to the beach (with mild traffic) which isn't too bad. Breakfast in the mornings were standard - self serve waffle, yogurt, eggs, sausage, muffins, stuff like that. We were trying to save a little bit of money by staying at a place away from the beach but the cost of parking and gas (especially now) makes up for it. The hotel itself was very nice for the price.

  • 5/5 Star L. 2 years ago on Google
The price was reasonable, nice room, pool, small workout room, and hot breakfast in the morning. I was placed in a room that someone had previously smoked in at first (all rooms are non smoking, they just didn't follow the rules). When I brought the smell up to the lady at the front desk she met me upstairs with keys for a new room immediately with no issue.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted and upon booking the room the person at the counter was very knowledgeable and very friendly we felt as we were home. Her name is Cassady. The room was immaculate, very spacious and most of all very clean. Next time that I travel to Fort Myers that will be the only hotel that I will stay at. Highly recommend it.

Due to the Hurricane situation, we (Canadians) are advised not to travel to West coast of Florida. Best Western refuses to refund me my 3 night hotel stay. The event my son and I were to attend has been cancelled as a result. They are providing a full refund. My flights are being refunded. Oh but not Best Western. Can you believe that!! Nothing best about them. Brutal. Update a week later after the Hurricane devastated Ft Myers. Best Western is now temporarily closed and they have agreed to refund me. I hope everyone there is safe and are able to rebuild quickly.

Since I cannot respond to the owner on my review, I have to make another one. There's a way of speaking to guests, the way she spoke and acted was not professional. Storming up to somebody with papers in hand to tell them something aggressively causing a scene is not the solution. I see you have a lot of complaints based on bad customer service so it seems that it is a very common problem in your location. My dogs ARE service animals so no need for quotation marks. Also the doors are not locked overnight as we've had to take our service animals outside at night and no doors were locked. And no regulations were interrupted so i'm not understanding why we have to reminded of anything when we were made sign papers for the acknowledgment of the policy which we were clearly already aware of. Miscommunication or not, no guest should be treated the way we did. Thank you and have a great one.
