Enjoyed dinner good company good food and excellent service. We had a slight issue with our order however the waitress and the manager took EXCELLENT care of us. Most places now a days have no idea how to treat customers but this place is A #1 and I would highly recommend their service to anyone. Thank you

The experience at this establishment was not so great. The food was just ok. The palmetto location has much better tasting food. Our pizza was cut in some weird curvy square pattern. In the picture you can see every dish that came to the table was still on the table and we had just paid the bill. Not a good look for the establishment. I forgot to mention that the server rushed us to order drinks but didn’t once come back to ask us if we wanted another the whole time we were there.

This is such a great place! My family is from Chicago and the deep dish was spot on! Exactly like home. The staff is friendly and informative. We will be returning! It could be a little confusing to get to because of how the streets are set up. But it is not hard to find and it is worth it.

This place is ok but don’t think you are getting Gino’s East out of Chicago. The crust tastes like a basic crust just pushed up to look like Chicago style. It is decent enough to eat but not what we are looking for. We also ordered a thin crust and that was nothing to write home about. I wanted it to be more. It wasn’t the best nor the worst.

Sports bar. Good wings and Chicago food, pizza, Chicago beef, Chicago dogs, brats all done right. Might be best wings in town. Not breaded. If you would like any of that get the food here. They do it exceptionally well and been here for a while. Seems to be some staffing needs but they managed it well when I was there. Pro tip if you enjoy beer get cans or bottles unless they are moving a lot of your draft on a busy night.

Great family business with friendly staff. The food is amazing for satisfying your tastebuds when craving "Chicago cuisine". The pizza is fantastic. The Italian Beef or the combo is as good as any! They even have Goose Island - 312 on draft!! TV's for the sports throughout the restaurant. Clean & comfortable with all the Chicago decor. Recommend 100%!

Joey D's has really good pizza. It's very convenient for the local hotel, you can just walk over. The atmosphere and service was good as well.

We had to come to Sarasota for a memorial service but it’s also our 6 year anniversary of our first date. We wanted somewhere local and Joey D’s was perfect. The atmosphere was cool and the food was to die for. We will be coming back!

Pizza and hotdogs seem to be their specialties. I had 2 Chicago style hotdogs. They were good. The person who took my order was very cheerful. I had a good experience

Best Chicago-style hotdogs…..PERIOD! The wings and fries are equally impressive. Fresh hot plump drums and flats were evenly covered in hot sauce. Our server Jules was attentive and personable. I wouldn’t expect anything else from a lefty.

Good Chicago style pizza. Their regular crust is good as well. There are other places I like more but the service, staff, and quality of their product is top notch.

I was so impressed that a young man that works here helped me as I suffer with pain and can barely walk and am disabled the young man brought my food to my car and actually had to make a couple trips to help me so I could comfortably sit in my minivan. This young man that helped me carry my food also helped me with ordering as j didn't know the menu and he told me what would be good with my order and things I could add. I called the number on the door of Joeys to let a boss know how I appreciate this kind person but thanks again for helping the elderly and disabled. Thank you so very much. The food was excellent I got stromboli and fried mushrooms and other items for my aunt. Yum 😋 T Patterson

I'm a picky eater, especially Italian food, Joey D's was pretty good considering the price. I had ravioli, however, I had them use the pizza sauce instead of their marinara. Tried a sample of both before ordering and I'll definitely go back and try pizza again. Fair prices and it's cute in there.

So I am a huge fan of Joey D's in Palmetto ,Been dining with you guys for years, last night I tried the Sarasota location because I recently moved and wow do I wish I would have traveled to Bradenton. The mild chicken wings were not cooked all the way. They were super rubbery and there was no sauce . Both pizzas were overcooked . The antipasto salad was Good, but the dressing tasted like creamy vinegar. The staff was not friendly , several people walked passed me as I stood at the counter watching the manager and another guy talk for a good 4 to 5 minutes before they addressed me . Needless to say my 90 dollars for dinner went into the trash, Peanut butter and jelly to the rescue . Bad form guys. I will definitely not be returning to your location

The pizza tasted good but I could only get 3 toppings because I am allergic to wheat, so I was super excited to see that Joey D’s had gluten free crust…until I saw they charge $1.75 PER TOPPING. I tried to order a Specialty Pizza but my total would have been $40 for the same pizza as a standard pizza with the same toppings not gluten free for $23. How can you justify up charging me for the exact same toppings that others get because I have an allergy. That is just greedy.

Haven't had a good pizza in almost four years! Really missing the Chicago style pizza that you just can't find here.....UNTIL NOW! If you are missing a pizza with great sauce outstanding Italian sausage and the cheese on the top where it should be, run to Joey D's! It made me so happy when it came out cut in squares! Worth the ride to get there!

Chicaaago…Dogs, beefs, the Za, all actually great. I’m from the burbs of chitown and love getting to treat ourselves to some familiar flavors. I’d say the dogs are top shelf, very similar. Pizza is great and beef is solid too. Great interior decor and friendly staff

Had dinner with my wife and son on Saturday night and it was amazing. My wife and I had the Monsters of the Midway pizza. My son had a Philly. We also shared the spinach salad. Everything was great. Customer service was top notch. If we are in the area again for a lacrosse tournament, this is our go to place. Thanks

Once again they failed at our delivery order. Clearly says pepperoni side and sauce on side. Peppers ALL over it and NO sauce!! I really wish someone would care about their job. It's not that difficult. Two delivery orders in a row not right...Pretty sure I will never order from them again.

Tremendous environment, joyful people, and GREAT pizza. They have a young staff that is always taking care of the tables and excellent products. We've been there just two times, but we'll go back for sure!

Glad we came across this place! And I'm glad to see they are expanding. Customer service is top notch, not once have I had a bad time there or know of anyone that has. They remember your name and treat you like family! Food is great too, and pretty reasonably priced (half pound burger and fries for $7!!). And if your lucky you might even see Mr Joey D himself (he is super nice) or Mama D (also super nice, she danced with my daughter). Definitely a jewel of Bradenton!

This place is big and enjoyable restaurant! Plenty of screens and space for the group to enjoy. Outside and inside seating available. Food is great with plenty of Chicago themed food available such as deep dish pizza. Drinks specials available as well.

Very much enjoyed the Italian beef sandwich dipped in au jus.visited joey D's twice during my stay in Sarasota and definitely recommend it! Loved it so much I forgot to take pics of the sandwich
