Nice park for kids with pavilions and grilling stations. Clean restrooms with a cute box outside it to donate books to others. For adults it's a nice place to walk by the water and look in them trees you might see iguanas. Definitely would go back there.

Very enjoyable clean park with amazing view of the river. I love to walk my dog here beside the Calooshatchee River. There is always much going on in this park from people enjoying a walk alone or with their dog. Picnic tables benches and alot of open space to lay down a blanket and read a book. Bring the family for an afternoon on the swings followed by picnic lunch or have a barbecue at many of the grills provided. It's a great place...I just love it !!

My family and I frequent this beautiful park weekly. It’s quiet with nice walking trails and an amazing view of the river front. You can utilize the waterfront grills and picnic tables for an outdoor cookout. Public restrooms are on site and the Gazebo areas have electrical sockets if you need to charge up your phone . Doggie poop bags are also located on the walking trails for dog walkers. Overall Jaycee has it all!

Such a beautiful park. Can't we do all the things the council wants to change BUT keep the existing trees?????Seems very doable and makes everyone happy, and cheaper. How can you feel good about taking down 100 year old trees. They should still be here long after the council is gone. And it seems there hurricane proof. New trees won't stand against any wind.

Gorgeous park with walking paths and picnic tables close to the water. Playgrounds are great, but with no shading, they tend to be too hot for kids to play on. Plenty of open space to run around though!

Cute park with a lovely view. There are usable grills and a shelter house. Not really a park to go for a long walk in with your dog if that's what you're looking for.

This a great park. There are places to walk, picnic tables in the shade, shade trees, a pavilion, restrooms which are usually clean and it’s next to the water! My family and I love this park! And….Iguanas!!

I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's wonderful, hope the changes they want to make aren't too impactful. The most recent changes (playgrounds, additional places to eat, great walking route, were all great additions and the park still has wonderful natural elements. Highly recommend it, but don't plan on playing in any sand/beach access with the river.

We've been going to Jaycee park for about 13 years & our dogs love walking along the shoreline. Our kids grew up playing on the playgrounds. We used to have a cookouts there when the kids were younger. We have spent several 4th of July's sitting on the water watching the fireworks. It's a shame that they're trying to change Jaycee park. I wish they would just leave things the way that they are because Jaycee park is great just the way that it is.

A great place to hang out many families are enjoying the playground or having a cook out . There is shelters with tables and electric. With all the growth in cape coral I am grateful for this natural piece of nature.

This is one of my favorite spots in Cape Coral. The combination of trees and water from the Caloosahatchee River is very relaxing. It looks beautiful not matter if it is a sunny or a raining day. It is sad that the city wants to transform/destroy this place.

I love the trees along the water. It is a great place to have a picnic or just sit and relax by the water. It is dog friendly with a nice walking path. There is bathrooms and a playground. They have covered area that you can rent for parties. There is a grassy area for kite flying or whatever. Just a quiet peaceful park.

We live nearby & love the neighborhood Atmosphere. Everyone is friendly & it is a perfect place to walk your dog or take the kids to enjoy the playground. You can enjoy Nature & the River View. A serene place with beautiful old trees, where everyone can relax & enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Sadly, the City wants to change it to a place with a band shell, boat docks & concrete sea wall, food trucks, a bar and basically turn it into a "Concrete, modern Park". They seem to think that they know what is best for the Neighborhood, which is totally Residential.

Nice little park next to the water! Kid and Dog friendly. Has picnic tables near the water, play ground for kids in the middle, nice sidewalks for walking, and has plenty of benches. The whole park was nice and clean.

Had my daughters baby shower there. Plenty of parking. The restrooms were clean. Park was somewhat clean, but it was a very windy day. We had a great time. We did see an American Bald Eagle fly up into a tree near us.

Such a beautiful park on the water. Wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion under one of the pavilions, spot a manatee passing by the waterline, hang a hammock for the day, have a picnic, walk your dogs, etc. Great walkways with beautiful trees and plants. Bathrooms are always clean and there are plenty of garbage cans & doggie bag stands so people are more inclined to pick up after their dogs. Could spend a whole day here.

Also a beautiful little park where you can walk down along the water way and watch boaters or whatever is out there in the water. But as I say I enjoyed every moment of the park as well. There are benches and stuff if you just feel like reading next to the water.

Very beautiful view by the water. It's a pretty large park and it's kid friendly. Has a work out area, walking path, playground, and plenty of benches and pavilions for events. Even has corn hole if your interested, just don't forget your bean bags

Really comfortable park with loads of friendly people. Nice and quiet. No renovation please. It will ruin the whole ambiance. Stupid to think a bar and bands is an improvement.

Beautiful park on the water with restrooms and lots of parking - will probably be renting a space for my baby shower there because I like it so much! Dogs are allowed there too!

This Beautiful RiverFront Park is one of Cape Coral's Largest Parks. It offers wonderful views of the Caloosahatchee River. This park is very Dog Friendly!!Also a concrete walkway that encircles the entire park. There are public restrooms. A really nice Playground/Play Area. Picnic Tables all over the park. Plenty of Parking!! Several Pavilions with picnic tables. A huge clearing/field where I've seen people toss a Frisbee to their dogs. Lots of shaded areas! This is a Great Place to come and relax, do your jogging or do some casting [I caught a nice redfish there on the riprap]. Morning, Noon or Evening... This is a Nice Place to Be!!

Jaycee Park is one of our favorite parks. My only complaint is the fly problem when eating or grilling.

  • 5/5 Liz C. 1 year ago on Google
Jaycee Park is such a peaceful and beautiful spot here in Cape Coral. Kind of random, but I was given an exercise to practice meditation, and I went here to do it. It was quiet, and you could hear the wind in the trees, hear the waves hitting the rocks, etc. If you ever need/want some peace and quiet, you should definitely go here!! It's also the perfect spot to sit and spend some time with God. ❤️ There are also always tons of people walking their doggos, so if you like to make dog friends, this is the place for you! 🐕

The sunrise is usually better from the pier Yacht Club Park but that was significantly damaged by Ian so I'm here this morning on my last day in Cape Coral. Lucked out with a beautiful sunrise over the river. The park is in great shape with benches, picnic tables, parking and playgrounds.

  • 5/5 liz G. 2 years ago on Google

Visiting from Las Vegas and needed a nice place to run in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian 2023. Beautiful park with a lovely community of people. Wonderful view, well lit, safe running/jogging environment. Lots of pets and happy people. Thank you Cape Coral for the beautiful time here. Stay strong in your efforts to recover from the hurricane.

We weren't married then but my wife and me moved here 7yrs ago and the 1st event we attended was "March In The Park" and we loved it. Various flowering plants, shrubs and trees are available for sale along with garden related crafts and more with music being played to make it even more enjoyable. It's usually the 2nd Saturday in March so mark your calenders!

  • 4/5 Joseph C. 2 years ago on Google
Great park for the kids to play in. At least 2 different playgrounds. Bathrooms available. View of the water. There was a gardening event going on when we visited that was awesome. Lots of vendors to shop from. They had an Arts and Crafts tables for the kiddos to play at while waiting for face painting... all free! Bought some things to help support the event. Good times!

It was very relaxing. Nice location. It has a Pavilion and restrooms; Those were a little stinky, but usable. Lots of dogs 🐕🐩🐕🐕‍🦺🦮 Most people at least say "Hi" and Love to talk about their Pups. Everyone I saw also picked up after their dogs, so they obviously care about their neighborhood. Gotta be Respectful. 😎👍🏻

Nice little park where local retires are walking their furry friends. Nice play ground area and a small trail around the entire park. It is on the water front, so that is nice, but you can't access the water, not sure if you're allowed to fish there...

  • 5/5 Tina O. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely love this beautiful park that's right on the river. A little under 2 laps is 1 mile so it's easy to judge walking/running distance. Beautiful mature trees. Nice playground equipment. Workout area. Lovely breeze and view of the river.

Limited parking but that's ok. Kids love the playground and the open field. Wish people would pick up after their dogs but that's not the park's fault. Calm view of the bridges and river.

  • 5/5 Nainsi M. 3 years ago on Google
Well maintained, peaceful riverfront park that allows dog walking and has an awesome playground for children. During the summer it's the coolest place in Cape Coral with the nice breeze from the water.

  • 5/5 Morty J. 3 years ago on Google
It was very lovely! My friends and I ate at a picnic table near the water. It's a nice view. There's lots of beautiful trees and a lot of grass. There is also two playgrounds for kids and a swing set! It is a nice park to walk around. There's a lot of seating area too. The only downside to me was it was very busy. Since it was busy it was a bit hard to find a parking space.

  • 5/5 Miguel F. 3 years ago on Google
Love this place! Very relaxed! Very peaceful place to come and enjoy with the family. They have benches facing the water so you can watch the sun set or sun rise by the water. Getting there at sunrise and watching it over the water was a zen moment. Facilities were very clean and accessible. Great for running or walking or spending time with family

  • 5/5 Rosemary G. 3 years ago on Google
Nice area if you just want to walk a short paved loop. It's along the water facing Fort Myers so that is nice. Plenty of clean bathrooms and walking space to stay distanced. Tree identification chart is informative, but it's not a true nature hike if that's what you want. Dog friendly as long as they're leashed.

  • 5/5 Rockin R. 3 years ago on Google
Beautiful view of the river. There are several picnic areas that allow you to social distance with ease. Or if you want to be with a group you can do that as well. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The walking path is all around the outside of the park with no area hidden area. I felt very safe while walking.
