I adopted my 9 week old puppy threw them, when I rescued her she was already spayed (which the spay was infected) the night I brought her home she started pooping diarrhea, that turned into bloody diarrhea .. I took her to the vet to find out she is sick with giardia. Rescue groups are supposed to care about their animals in their care .. To me these people don't care like they say they do. I think that a rescue group needs to test these puppies for diseases and sickness often found in puppies before they send them to their forever homes. So not only did I pay $300 for a sick puppy that I have to sink more into to nurse her back to health (which I am willing to pay because I love her so much) but now I have to worry about the health of my other fur babies along with my family. This "rescue" group is not ran properly. 9 week old puppies should not be getting spayed/neutered and they need to know the health of their animals before sending them on their way to a new home.

"Adopted" a puppy for $300 when she 10 weeks old. 10 days later we had her at the emergency vet with a rectal prolapse.... another $700. Still we were already attached and had no problem paying. We've had her for 4 months and we can no longer care for her. We work all the time and it's not fair for her to live in a crate. We contacted furever pets about returning since the contract states we must give the dog back if we can no longer care for her. The response was that they can only take her back for a "donation". We were also told by the vet that the puppy was spayed to early which is causing bladder issues. Definitely need a company to look into them... they are a scam and do NOT care for their pets.... please do not go to this puppy mill.

I have recently adopted two puppies from forever pets and after I paid the adoption fee of $700.00 for my new puppies when they came home I noticed they both had diarrhea. I figured ok maybes itโ€™s because itโ€™s a new environment they are adjusting etc. a couple of weeks later I noticed the smaller of the two puppies had starting loosing weight and loosing his appetite... when I adopted these puppies they assured me they had been vaccinated and were in good health so I was confused as to how the runt puppie could be so sick? Finally I was very concerned and took him to the vet and found that he had Giardia, coccidia and hook worm! Because of this infection I took in the other puppy and also a dog that weโ€™ve had in the family for years now to get them tested as well. I was surprised to find out that both puppies were infected with the same illnesses. We also have another dog at home that contracted these illnesses as well and had to have him treated. I contacted the owner Liz a forever pets and she is not taking any responsibility for these dogs being adopted out sick. And while speaking to her she openly admitted that the dogs were not quarantined properly and were adopted the next day after they were rescued. On top of the $700 adoption fee I paid an additional $575 in vet bills and which Liz the owner is not taking responsibility for. She claims that I did not take them into the vet in a timely manner in order to get them treated. To which I replied they were sick when you adopted them out to us whether I took them in the next day or two weeks later it makes no difference they will still be sick. The purpose of this post is to make people aware that this company is not taking care of these puppies and housing them in poor conditions before adoption. Giardia is a parasite that you get from drinking bacteria ridden water, and coccidia is generally contracted by eating rabbit feces. So with these two illnesses I can assure you that theyโ€™re living in poor conditions. And instead of Liz trying to make it right by covering the vet bills she takes no responsibility and offered $100 compensation after all the expenses were paid out of my pocket. What I would like to do is get everybody together whoโ€™s had a similar experience to mine And expose this company for what it is. I plan to go to the media and also take this woman to court. Anybody who would like to join me in this quest to make sure that this company does not miss treat dogs and puppies ever again join me.

My parents lost their dog of 8 years to a heart condition. They wanted to save a new puppy and went to Petsmart and fell in love with โ€œ Bootsieโ€, a very cute Shellie mix. Mom dog was there along with another brother. They adopted the cutie brought her home. 3 days later she was diagnosed with parvovirus. She was near death for a week under a vets care 24 - 7, can you imagine the bill, but they are kind people who loved a cute puppie. This poor thing was infected at the rescue along with these other animals listed in other reviews. These people should be investigated by Humane society and charged with cruelty to animals. I have advised my parents to sue this company. Please never, never rescue form this place and hopefully after I am done they will out of business.

Everyone at this place, knows why the review ratings are so low. Don't play like you don't know. Why even bother with animals you choose to not take care of correctly and lack of full disclosure is criminal.

I had to surrender my boy yesterday so I found this place. I'm hard core when it comes to my pets so when I took him in I looked hard at the facility. It was extremely clean, the kennels everything spotless. They are located out in the country side able to run and play. As for the animals there is a rescue horse they are working on and the dogs, the dogs are well fed, they have room to run shiney coats and happy. I'm not sure about the other reviews yet from what I seen the facility clean andanimals are well cared for

$300 drop off fee for a cat?? And I bet they would charged another $300 fee for adoption. Insane. Just go to a local animal shelter (gulf coast humane society- or paws) and save yourself time and money. Wise guy who answered the phone was a smart Aleck and it wasnโ€™t professional at all.

They treated us with courtesy and compassion. They understand that a pet is truly a much loved part of the family. I was so pleased that their service included delivery of the cremains. That isnt done for human loved ones and going to pick them up is a very sad and emotional task. They are very efficient and this was handled very quickly and compassionately helping with closure. If I could give more than 5 stars I would

This is clearly a business, the animals here are a secondary concern..as a veterinarian, I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere for adoption and read reviews prior to making a decision. Adopting here only enables this type of behavior and abuse for profit to continue.

I call to check about locations.. I was told they moved everything, all the stores to somewhere out in the country... I asked for the address and they said it was ALL by appointment only... Make an appointment??? I am interested in adopting an animal, not applying for a damn job... I should be able to do this at MY leisure... NOT YOURS... I'm doing YOU a favor here..... And how am I supposed to know if I am compatible with an animal until I see it, hold it and interact with it... UPDATE YOUR DAMN WEBSITE MORONS???
