Dr. Castilla's nurse practitioner and medical student were amazing while I was in the hospital both pre and post op. I have had increasing pain since my gallbladder was removed and a month later it still is occurring. I called the office TWO different times to share what was occurring. The first time I was told I would receive a call back and that never happened. I called again three days later as pain was increasing and the office staff that spoke to me was extremely RUDE and dismissive and told me to call back if it got worse. I said I'm calling because it has gotten worse. They would not connect me to speak with the doctor or nurse practitioner. I missed my follow up appointment due to being in the ER. I received a nasty message from the office staff. I called back to try and reschedule and was unsuccessful as there are only 2 days a week in which office visits can be scheduled. So over a month post op and nothing from the dr. Beyond disappointed regarding the follow up and complete lack of concern regarding post op complications that are STILL occurring.

Dr Maria costella did a great job removing my bad gallbladder in and out in one day thank you very much I also went for a hernia to be repaired Dr Maria is an excellent specialist you should give her a try because she knows what she's doing thank you Dr Maria

It took over a year to find my issue with many tests and Dr. Maria Castilla found it. She is amazing period. A master at what she does and when I met her I thought a super model walked into the room. Gorgeous lady besides being the best at what she does. She gave me back my health and wellbeing after suffering for so long before getting her to fix everything after finding her.....love and light always.

Went for a routine colonoscopy and was told at my follow up visit that all was fine. Then I get a large bill for a diagnostic colonoscopy and suddenly I’m told I have polyps! I don’t know what to believe but I think this may be insurance fraud! At the very least you’d expect to get accurate results at your office visit. I was contacted my the office manager, Mary, who was extremely nice and helpful. Thankfully I didn’t have polyps 👍 ! I’m still working with her on resolution with the billing, since I have a history of polyps on previous colonoscopy. The doctor was accurate in giving me my results…this appears to be a billing and coding issue that Mary is looking into . Update: Spoke with the office manager, Mary again and she looked into my issue extensively and provided me with what she found out. I’m happy with the outcome

I recently got to navigate, with my wife, the endless maze of modern medical challenges, after getting an unfavorable medical diagnosis. She took the bull by the horns so we immediately got in to see another medical team, plus she expedited our schedule for her surgery, and most importantly developed a path for our rapid recovery. The complicated surgery went extremely well, setting us up for the most favorable outcome possible on the next step of our journey. I have only words, and they cannot to even begin to express the gratitude I feel. Dr Castilla and her staff were so polite and made for a very pleasant appointment. She was very thoughtful and very clear on her instructions for my examination and test. I would highly recommend her office for all your Gasterological exams.

Dr Castilla preformed an appendectomy on me using the latest robotic surgical technology. I have had almost no post op surgical pain and I am able to be up and enjoying life again, less than one week later. I would recommend her surgical skills to everyone.

This is my second experience with Dr. Castilla and both times I felt that I received excellent care. I usually ask a lot of questions and many were answered before I even asked. In this recent exam she was thorough and found where I had a similar surgery on a different side of me than I thought the earlier surgery was done. Our discussion gave me confidence that the correct work was being planned going into surgery, and a good recovery plan was clearly communicated.

I went for the first time to see Dr. Castilla today for a possible hernia. My wife accompanied me. First impressions count a lot, and Mary at the front desk was extremely kind and professional. We found Dr. Castilla friendly, kind and open with us both. She listened attentively and examined me carefully. She is a general surgeon, but was conservative in her approach, which I appreciated. She ordered further imaging and then will proceed from there. I felt extremely confident and in good hands. If I should require a surgical repair, I would have full trust in her skill and approach. Dr. Castilla had a sense of humor as well, which is imperative for me. My wife and I felt blessed to have connected with this doctor and her wonderful staff. I would highly recommend.

I have had a surgically procedure. Thanks dr. M. Castilla everything was great. Late I called the office about an appointment following after surgery, just because my procedure was rescheduled and I didn’t know that my appointment was set up. Nobody let me know. The lady on phone in impolite manner cuts me a couple times keep telling me that my appointment was set up. She also raised her voice when she was obtaining additional information. It is not professional and unacceptable to talk with patient in Disrespectful and RUDE manners.
