Such a shame standards and customer care has slipped as Pain Management use to be so good. I have been scheduled for a radio frequency injection for 0745. Just been told there are 2 people ahead of me. Its 0815 and still haven't been seen. The scheduling is awful!! it's happened every time i come here. Be prepared to wait long periods of time so bring a packed lunch with you and not so good customer service!!! I'm now looking for a new pain management consultancy. Evidently money is too easy to give a poor customer experience. Very disappointed and maybe they've grown too big and lost the sparkle...Remember a smile and engagement goes a long way.

I was suffering from severe pain, on high dose of opioids and I needed to get off of them as they did not help me and find real help. I went to see Doctors who actually care about the patient more than anything. Although a high risk cancer patient for surgery, Dr. Eugene Mahaney agreed to install a Medtronic Pain pump that changed my life! I am no longer suffering. ALL of the Doctors, Nurses, receptionists and entire office staff are personable, friendly, helpful, simply a joy to be around! The waiting room is spotless along with all the other rooms. There's very little wait time despite how busy they are. They run a tight ship so please be there when they tell you so you can be seen quickly and efficiently. I don't think I would be alive today had I not gone there!

My appointment took 1 hr and 45 minutes. The majority of my time was spent in a patient room. I was there for a shot in my back. I was not informed that I had to stop my blood thinners before the appointment so the shot ordered was not the shot I could be given. I had an issue with insurance denying an MRI and the office never communicated to me that they were actively working on my issue and what the result was. Unfortunately the doctor told me that the office staff does not have time to communicate to the patients.

My scheduling was messed up twice after I left early from work two Fridays in a row and then today I get there and was told that I'm able to be billed for my co-payment but when I got there they told me there's nothing they could do about who told me the wrong information and I cannot be billed so basically I called off of work early for absolutely nothing and I'm still not going to have my issue resolved. When I asked who I make the complaint to I was given the managers name of the location I was at and she can't do absolutely anything and I was also told that I would not get in touch with her that same day which I feel is completely irresponsible because if you have a patient that has tried twice and it's your business's fault that the patients appointments keep getting messed up it is their job to abide by what was told to the patient but they did not care and did not offer any type of help at all. I absolutely will not be using them and will give everyone details of my experience when asked about this place

They lie. They never answer their phone and they are the worst clinic I have ever been too. No compassion and most unhelpful. They simply do not care about you or helping you. You are a paycheck to them. I had to deal with their terrible practice for over a year. Find somewhere else to help you with your pain.

New Patient...I went to Pain Management Consultant (Cape Coral Office) on April 18, 2023 to sign a Medical Release Form to have my records released to Dr. Gilberto Acosta's Office because I wasn't allowed to make an appointment w/o my previous medical records I called my previous doctor and was informed that my medical records were sent back to Dr. Acosta's Office on the same day the Release Form was signed (April 18, 2023). I called numerous of times and always found myself talking with the same receptionist (Gaye) who was very professional and showed empathy for my pain. She (Gaye) informed me that she has left emails to her supervisor (Isabel) with no avail regarding the status of Medical Release Forms. Today is April 28, 2023 and still haven't heard back from Dr. Acosta's Office! I did some research on Dr. Acosta and learned that he is well respected doctor in his field and whom I would have loved to be my new pain management doctor. Yesterday, I called a different pain management doctor's office and they already received my medical records and have an appointment scheduled for this Monday. Dr. Acosta I'm sure you are a great physician but your office could use some managerial reconstruction!

I was denied any kind of pain medicines because they have a contract with the VA to deny veterans narcotics... If you are a Veteran, They will only give you the same treatment as VA. Even if you use your own health care... 22 a day, because of the VA!

Always professional, efficient, and personable. I've never waited more than 8 min passed my scheduled time to go in the back and always felt that I was given ample time to discuss any concerns. I love check in and check out staff, Brenda, Dr. Mahaney, and miss Cindy Waters. I appreciate them and am grateful for their service πŸ’πŸŒ·

I really like Dr. Mahaney but try to get an appointment with him. So many hoops to jump through and it becomes annoying. The delay can be several weeks to more than a month. Seeing the nurse practitioner when you’re already a patient becomes tedious.

The office staff and doctors are fine, my issue is with the company itself who sent their call center overseas. It is not acceptable that I have to give my personal information (name dob, phone no…) to a call center in another country where there is no recourse. My bank account was just compromised outside of the US and I do not want to give my personal info out to another country anymore just to get an appointment or ask a question.

My Dr sent a referral to this office 6/13/23 I never heard from them so I made some phone calls to them they said they didn't have my referral, so I call my insurance co. And they found the referral was sent on June 13th my Dr had a referral # pain management could not find it so I had enough and cancelled the appointment I've delt with the pain for awhile so it's over with this company

If you are not getting a shot do not go there. They only care about money no shot you will wait a hour talking to the people waiting every one that got a shot got called first. Bad service from entry to exit. Find another place.
