Lovely furniture dept on 2nd floor with some very stylish modern designs and also many classic pieces. Ori Cafe overlooking Middleton Hall. Great coffee. Check it out or the JL place to eat. JL even has it’s own instore Apple shop in shop staffed by Apple trained expert Matt.

An excellent sized store. Several entrances on different sides available. Escalators in the middle of the store explaining what's where. Lift available too. Restaurant on the 2nd floor with toilets available to use. If you need something from John Lewis this is the place to come.... it has a large electrical section, including lots of large tvs, enough to keep your man occupied whilst you look around the store.. Ladies downstairs, from bags, shoes to make up and perfume.. Men's section available, children's, garden, and a rug area. Large appliances. Also an area for home furniture where you can actually see it and choose what you like.. I cannot fault this store at all and purposefully travel just to come here.

Thank you to the staff in the furniture department who were so helpful in getting my wardrobe order eventually delivered. You can’t beat John lewis for helpful knowledgable staff. They also have lots of unusual ideas for Christmas this year. From flying pink turtles to green owls and luxurious looking peasants to Dec your halls and table.

One of the largest and well-laid out John Lewis stores I have been to. Everything was very organised and the service is delightful as ever, even with the added pressures for the Partners. Would happily return and part with more of my money! The shop also featured a 300 seat newly refurbished Place To Eat, a table service Espresso Bar and a Beauty Retreat.

This Store was in its day a fantastic place to shop where you could get real service and good value for money . However with the passing of time there is a lot less enthusiasm for service in most departments ( apart from perfumery ) . I will it give it two stars for its vast assortment of stock but overall it’s so bland inside and the staff mainly look like they want to go home . No surprise to that as this originally Quaker Family based business has turned into yet another hard nosed Department Store , who puts its profits before people .

We popped into this store to have a look at some cooking pans, we were greeted by Gary the sales assistant. I have to say, it was one of the best experiences we have ever had at any shop. Gary was extremely helpful, took the time and nothing was any trouble. He is asset to JL and we hope to be served by him again.

We regularly go to this John lewis its a well stocked store with helpful staff. Had an ossie with a £700 coffee machine bought 4 months ago, went in easy swap for a brand new machine. Thanks for being helpful!

Visited the haberdashery. The staff were really nice and helpful. Helped me find a material I liked and the amount I needed, along with the other items I needed. The entire store is pretty wheelchair friendly, does get a bit narrow in some places.

Bought a BEAUTIFUL Green real leather (fake croc styled) radley london handbag and it was on sale so I bought it also bought some STUNNING vogue sunglasses, staff were really nice and helpful!

Visited the menswear department to find a pair of jeans to match a jacket that I'd bought at Charles Tyrwhitt - the lovely assistant who helped me (Sorry, I didn't catch her name) was amazing.... courteous, helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She also stayed whilst I tried on jeans to ensure I had all that I needed. The menswear range has shrunk, that's true.... but some very good stuff still, and excellent staff, too.

Absolutely shocked by the service received in John Lewis Milton Keynes - staff prefer to stand at chat at the ground floor tills rather than serve customers. I mentioned at the till that I wasn’t impressed by the staff standing having a personal conversation whilst customers are willing to wait and the member of staff serving me said nothing. The member of staff in question did not have a name badge on and when I asked what her name is she wouldn’t tell me - after challenging her she told me her name was Ellie. Apparently the manager was too busy to come over and speak to me. I’ll stick with Amazon next time, it’s cheaper and their customer service is better.

I have had to leave a review following such a poor service from John Lewis. I wanted to order some blinds for my new home. They had to do the quotation 5 times to eventually get it right. I sent endless emails for answers to queries I had. they would not answer them fully. I asked that the service was so shocking that they should offer some compensation. Their stance was that they will only compensate once the order has been placed and arrived. They were holding me to ransom and dictating matters when they were completely at fault. I did not expect this from them, place your orders elsewhere guys.
