My two step daughters and 4 friends did the candy “escape room” i won’t spoil anything but it’s definitely designed with kids in mind. The game was really well laid out and perfect for kids OR maybe your first room as an adult. Out of the companies we have tried in MK, so far this has been the best. Also the host felt like he wanted to be there, even though it was a Sunday, unlike other places.

This was properly one of the best Escape Rooms in MK I have done. Four of us did Hostage and we found it very enjoyable the puzzles were really well thought out and added some features that never had seen before. I would really suggest going :)

Fantastic- booked the candy store for daughters 11th birthday. Couldn't have asked for better, Rachel explained everything clearly and we will definitely book others in the future. Highly recommend- and we escaped 🥰🥰

We did the candy room with our kids. We all had a great time, and completed the challenge just in time, with only a tiny bit of help. The balance of being challenging but not too hard made it very enjoyable, and the plethora of sweets along the journey to the finish rounded it off nicely! Look forward to trying some of their other rooms.

Brilliant! Thoroughly enjoyed this escape room. We have been to a few and really appreciated the attention to detail. Great customer service, and had a really lovely evening. There were 4 of us , and we booked in advance to benefit from the discount which was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend. We'll be back for the next level up.

We had an amazing time here! It was hands-down one of the best escape rooms our group had done and we loved and enjoyed the thrill despite jumping and screaming throughout the puzzles! Darren was an outstabding host, very knowledgeable and set our mood right before we entered the room. We enjoyed every minute of it and will definitely come back to try one of the other games! We did the Candy Shop room as a family (2 adults and 2 kids, 8 and 10). Great fun for all of us and puzzles were difficult enough to keep us adults puzzled too! A great design meaning we could all contribute and the kids loved that you were rewarded with sweets along the way! Highly recommended for a fun family afternoon.

We really enjoyed our time at Blackout Escape Rooms. We had been previously to escape the "Cabin in the Woods". We went back this time to try the "Candy Shop", with a 9-year-old joining the party of four adults. We all enjoyed the room and there was enough to keep all 5 of us involved. It wasn't too linear, and the puzzles were suitably themed for the room. We enjoyed it so much we immediately booked to do the "Hostage" room the following day, which we very much enjoyed again. It felt like it took us a little longer to figure some of the puzzles out, but in the end we escaped in a similar time to the Candy shop. The staff were friendly and helpful and if Blackout Escape Rooms open any new rooms we would definitely go back.
