This review has been pending for some time. I went to Emerald nail salon two weeks ago, and it was a lesson learned to never switch nail salons. I had no choice because my normal place was closed. As soon as I sat in the chair, a woman began forcefully electric filing my nails. I could tell she was moving too quickly, but I dismissed it because I assumed she was an expert! She then slit my finger on the side, causing it to bleed. A man took over to do the acrylic, it was clumpy and far too thick. My nails are all different thicknesses. He then filed them so aggressively that the edges of my thumb were hurting. I requested a coloured tip, but they were unable to provide one. So I made a compromise and went for the whole colour, despite the fact that I could see the clump from the uneven acrylic powder. The employees continued to laugh and joke in their mother tongue. Regardless of the fact that they provided me with poor service. After that, the manager inquired if I liked them. And I had to be honest and say no, which resulted in me crying. I was exhausted after a long day of work - I spent two hours at this shop for an infill!!! Worst experience ever; I never expected to cry in a nail salon. And the punchline is. They continued to charge me. And they gave me a leaflet, pushing me to return again!, can you believe it? I have no words, except I will not go back. They need to train their staff and be more professional. Let's be wise about where we go to get our nails done.

I had my nails done for the 2nd time here today and again I had the best experience I could ever want having my nails done. I'm ever indecisive as to what I want but Joycey (sorry if I've misspelled), the beautiful proprietor, on both occasions has guided me and with beautiful results. Thank you Emerald Nails, you guys are the best 💚

It’s my worst manicure experience ever. The nail artist scrub the nails so hardly that my skin peeled off and bleed. Most of the edges my fingers still feel painful. The design didn’t match the picture too well and the staff was annoyed when I told him the colour he painted wasn’t right. Poor customer service and the pain is disappointing.

This was my 2nd time getting nails, and everyone working here was very sweet and they recommended me many designs even gave a student discount. Thank you for the design it is beautiful.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at the spa! It was a day of pure relaxation and self-care. I felt like I was on the cutting edge of wellness. The staff was attentive and professional, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I left the spa feeling refreshed, pampered, and ready to take on the world. Can't recommend it enough!

I got my nails here today and I didn’t like it at all. I have never been that unhappy with my nails before and the reason why is first they can’t even do a simple design and secondly when I was saying it’s not the same as the pic they was getting mad and leave it for another colleague while they were even worth all of them worked on my nail in that shop still couldn’t do their job right and finally they are rude as hell they don’t speak and expect me to understand a body language!!!! Like he was slapping my phone to show them the pic again and slapping my hand to soap with the other hand I’m shocked of what they did today.

Caused an infection on all finger,swollen sore and itchy..contacted them they agreed it was a new product they used but refused to give a refund but took them off for my daughter.absolutely shocking they clearly don’t sterilise there tools properly,wouldn’t recommend at all polite and friendly but absolutely no customer care what so ever even after admitting it was there fault
