I have been here many times over the last few years, always enjoyable visits. Right next to the railway station. Good selection of beers and food, electronic dart boards at the back. My last visit was on a Saturday night when they had live music.

Architecture wise, it’s definitely a sad loss that this institution will be gone. Service wise, I’m not sure. We queued up, waiting at the bar to be served, and then one bartender totally skipped us for a white lady behind us. But she was a lady and asked us if we were served yet cuz she knew we weren’t. 🤦🏻‍♀️ If I knew I had to bid farewell to this place on this note, I probably wouldn’t have come!

This pub is literally outside the train station. The front looks like a small coffee shop but believe it it’s huge inside and amazing. You need to walk down a set of stairs to the bar area which, has numerous beers on offer. They had interactive darts which, was great. There was another game which you had to slide the weights down. The young gentleman who ran the pub explained how they look after the table and how the game was played. It was £5 for 30 mins. A really good interactive game. There were about four different areas to sit in if you wanted to with either sofas, table and chairs or booths. The pub was very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Really wish we had gone in this pub when we first arrived in Leicester. Definitely a pub to visit.

I have just had a 'meal' there with a group of others at lunchtime today. I have to say that the whole experience was appalling. This is no reflection on the bar staff or those who were serving who were doing their best under difficult circumstances. The area near the kitchen where we were sat was freezing cold with none of the heaters working. We were there for over 2 hours during our meal all sat in our coats. The staff did try to put the heaters on but they weren't working which the management would have known about way before we ate. Apparently the chef walked out the previous day - so those in the kitchen were trying to hold the fort. They were still laying our table when we arrived. We waited over half an hour for our starters. The main course - turkey was cold and the veg not cooked. The food came out to use way before the gravy so the meal was even more cold. The salmon was warm and tasty; the beef was returned to the kitchen to be microwaved because it was tepid. The dessert - the Christmas Pudding was completely cold but served on warm dishes and had to be reheated. We complained and 'someone' in authority finally came out to apologise for what was obviously a disaster!! He offered us complimentary drinks. I wanted to have a reduction of £5 on our meal which was not accepted. The whole experience was a nightmare. I definitely will not be returning.

Good large pub in a former sorting office in Leicester Station. Three cask beers - and 2 ciders - on handpump when I last visited. Lots of covered outdoor seating.

Good pub next to Leicester railway station, 4 ales on tap, including the owners brewery King Billy, caters mostly for the weekend sports crowd. Can get very busy. A lot quieter during the week.

Great place to meet up and socialise with family and friends. Lovely atmosphere, fabulous decor reflecting its past life and connection to the railway and station next door . It was nice to visit and reminisce as to when the building in its previous life was a collection hub for the Royal mail sorting parcels for onward transit . My father used to work at the Campbell Street building and even took me along occasionally more years ago than I care to remember. Have visited many times over the years and is just as clean and well kept as the first time . Clean , spacious , nice atmosphere and polite staff . A must if you are in the area of the London Road train station . Enjoy

Love this place. It doesn't look like much from the street entrance next to the station, but once inside you're greeted with a modern and spacious look and feel. Huge ceilings make it feel like an event having a pint. Food was great, hand made skinned fries with a lovely warm beef and cheese sandwich. Highly recommended.

A cavernous downstairs bar, beer garden, and odd nooks on the way to the exit. Right by the station. It was entirely devoid of the atmosphere, but I did visit on a Wednesday afternoon. Beer was acceptable.

An ideal venue for a quick drink, a catch up with friends, or a night out. Amazing service from Emily throughout my visit, making me feel welcome and valued as a customer. The choice of drinks was extensive, and had plenty to offer.

Amazing experience as it was my first time there. Josh the person who looked after us was very humble and accommodating. Thanks buddy for taking care of us. Will definitely be back again !

Good selection of drinks. Conveniently located beside the train station and city centre. I really hope it isn't knocked down as part of our mayor's latest vanity project. The building is part of history that should be preserved.

Always a good place to go for a drink when visiting Leicester, especially by train. Good meeting place for Rugby fans, outside under cover drinks area, darts, shuffle board. Friendly bar staff and an electronic board showing live train departures so you can prop the bar up and drink to the very last minute

What a great pub! Central location, right next to Leicester train station. Friendly service, lovely beers on tap, really enjoyed sitting in the yard. Highly recommended!

Former GPO sorting office next to Leicester railway station. Electronic indicator board shows train departure times. Very spacious with a good selection of real and craft beers. Walking distance from city centre.

Loved this place. Right by the train station, friendly staff, great selection of beers, sizeable with a few darts boards (if that's your thing). Only downside was early closing (went back for last orders at 10.30 on a Tuesday and it was shut)

Visited for a lunchtime meal. From the outside it looks like a small bar but once inside it opens up and is large and spacious. Bottle lights, well presented bar. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Food was really tasty, had a burger which came with fries, coleslaw and salad. Has toilets which were clean.

Really like this place. Lovely staff, decent drinks range, the place is fitted well and prices look reasonable. Background music always sounds modern and lively. 4 stars because on the 3 times I went .. Friday and Saturday around 9pm expected it to be busy but it was actually quite empty. Not sure why tbh

THE PARCEL YARD! I really liked this pub. We arrived in Leicester and headed straight for this pub. 2 reasons. 1. It looked like a very nice starting venue. 2. It was right next to the train station. We played darts and drank for a few hours, service was great. Staff were friendly.

Normally I don't go into pubs near train stations but this one is extremely pleasant. Wide range of beers, ales and lagers. Spacious. Very nice.
