I eat breakfast in many Wetherspoons all over the UK and I have to say this one was cooked to perfection. Even though you would have thought all wetherspoons breakfasts would be the same they are not, normally something isn’t quite cooked right, but at this one every item was perfection. It’s quite a large pub with mezzanine floor, looks like it a popular place at night. If you want a perfect breakie then I would highly recommend this Wetherspoons for it.

Me and my friend had an amazing time at this pub, a Wetherspoons with the welcome addition of music! The pub has a beautiful design that includes chandeliers, balcony stylings and frames. We were served by friendly staff and enjoyed a proper amount to drink, situated at a table that was clean just like the toilets!

We visited The Corn Exchange in August 2023. The pub is an impressive Grade II listed building, with a huge stone archway to the front which unfortunately was undergoing some work on our visit. The pub was refurbished in 2022 and the interior is a vast, open area across multiple levels wrapped around a central bar. The carpet is particularly interesting, with reference to the Leicestershire cinquefoil and the agricultural history of the building. The toilets have benefited from the refurbishment and the pub feels quite fresh, albeit very brown. Check out our website or visit our socials (@wethowanderers) to read our full review of the pub!

Always a good visit and as usual incredible prices. Large bar with seating also upstairs and a small area outside at the front. Quick service at the bar and via the app.

Not been in a while, the food was very nice, quick service, ordered through the app which is very easy. Also friends enjoyed the 2 cocktail pitchers for £13. It was also nice and quiet (Sunday around 7pm). One thing I would say is the toilets were a little smelly. Overall good experience.

My family comes here a few times a year and it's always been packed, even during weekdays. The food serving times are longer than average because of this, however, the food is up to a good standard. The place is always clean, the staff are friendly and the toilets are cleaned regularly. The venue is accessable for those with mobility issues if you are able to snag a table on the ground floor. However, I would not recommend this place for people with sensory issues due to noise, unless you are able to go upstairs, where it is much quieter, or there is less people around between busy times.

What's always struck me the most about this pub is that, despite it's very large, it's often completely full. In the mid 2020s, this is one of the few pubs in Leicester where two pints can land in your table for a fiver. The beer selection isn't bad! The selection of food is large, but much of it is meh. The pub's affordability makes it popular with students and pub crawls. A big plus is the pub's location in one of England's lovelier renovated historic corn exchanges

Great breakfast at a good price, along with facilitating staff made for a memorable day for the Royal Anglian Veteran's breakfast 2023. Thanks for the work you all put in to make this a memorable one. Maybe rethink the 2nd hand drier situation.......awkward 😳

Never been in a Wetherspoons with the staff like here constantly cleaning tables as soon as anyone left and cleaning men’s toilets rather a lot . My husband says spotless . Good great Christmas dinner ok but rather have plain gravy . My choice . Husbands steak only had chips and peppercorn sauce no mushrooms or tomato.

A decent offering from Wetherspoons but having been to several of their bars in different locations i have to say this wasn't my favourite. Also it's a little hard to find.

Stopped off for a quick meal with my wife and another couple to catch up on what we have been doing recently. Good food and cold cider in a very comfortable and warm environment. Planned to stay for an hour or so, but so comfortable stayed for more like 3 hours. Very popular place with a complete mix of customers from retired couples, workman on their way home and grabbing a quick drink, to groups of friends and students with laptops. Hassle free and all at a fair price. Give it a go ... you will not be sorry that you did.

Popped in for an impromptu lunch with my wife and vegetarian twins. It was very very busy, but it is close to Christmas. Once we found a table, we ordered food via the app, and it came quite quickly. Not the best food on earth, but well worth it's money. We will go back again.

Breakfast with the lads before a day of drinking! Classic. It's a good wetherspoons, nice building with multi leveled seating. Service and food super fast and the app worked a treat. I was amazed that the loos were on THE GROUND FLOOR!! First one I have been to. I applaud the layout.

This is a go-to venue for a family drink and sometimes food when in Leicester while visiting our daughter, but we were shocked to find it closed when we turned up on Saturday night for, according to a note on the door, maintenance. We know such jobs need doing (although it is only a few weeks since it reopened after a major overhaul), but on a Saturday of all nights, especially a few weeks before Christmas? Very strange - and a shame as we were looking forward to visiting. Tried the High Cross but it was so busy we could hardly get through the door and came away.

Slow service waiting for food around 35 minutes from ordering, small portions of mash potatoes steak and kidney pie and peas, large breakfast arrived without any bacon. Had waited that long to receive the food I had by this point lost the will to complain that the bacon was missing. Although the food was good, pity about the other points.

Great pub with lots of history connected to it lovely place to visit, great prices and top-notch real ale

I came here for four consecutive breakfasts and a meal one of those evenings. Although service was quick, there were at most only two guest beers available and sometimes just the one. The building is really well done and the former Corn Exchange has been made into a well designed space. For my tastes the music was too load and I found it hard to converse at times.

Tis an alright Spoons with a good selection of well-kept ales and friendly people working, the building is nice. Some of the clientele are, um, interesting. There was a gentleman smoking in the foyer as I arrived (not even leaning out the door, just stood in foyer smoking. It wasn't even raining or cold out), another gentleman inside was delivering a very loud extended anecdote about a fellow who (how can I put this politely?) experienced a surprise bathroom-related incident. He told the story, I zoned out for a bit, then 15 minutes later he was still telling the story (he must have said the phrase "he hit himself" (albeit not the word "hit" but "hit" prefaced with an "s") about 15,000 times). 4/5

We went there for quick drinks, there were plenty of options of all types of alcohol. We ordered 2 double whiskey and it cost us 11 pounds. We neither checked the food menu nor ordered food. There were lot of people there as the place was big. They also have place to sit outside. This place looks good for a bar, but I don't think I will order food there.

Definitely not a English pub. Tried to go in with an emotional support dog and was told to leave. THEY ACTUALLY ASKED ME FOR PROOF. This is illegal to do so. Poor training from the head office. Was told that there were signs to inform me that this was the case. There was one at waist height and not in an prominent place. Winston Churchill would turn in his grave as they wouldn't let him in with his! The staff had no idea how to deal with the situation. Definitely will not recommend wetherspoon pubs ever, especially if you like dogs as they don't. Spend your money elsewhere if you like dogs!

Food was nice enough but they need to look at the layout it felt so cramped trying to get through to the toilets around the tables with a toddler was so difficult and my partner bumped his head on a shelf on a post because it was too close to the table. We had to manouver our chairs around the table next to us to get sat down comfortably there needs to be much more room between tables I can't imagine you would get a wheelchair to any of them

Usually like weatherspoons mixed grill but this one left me a little disappointed, meat very fatty , cold soggy chips but the onion rings and peppercorn sauce were very nice.

I dropped by with a group of friends the other week and it was a good visit for a couple of cheap drinks. I wasn't too keen on being I'D'd at the doors to get in, I don't exactly look underage, but I understand that may be Wetherspoons' policy. It was very busy when we arrived but we managed to get a bar table. If you're after a cheaper place for drinks then Wetherspoons definitely seems to be the right place for you.

Cheap and best place to chill out. Staff was very professional and courteous

Excellent service with cheap beer. Bit crowded at times but ordering from the table using the app made the experience a lot better than hanging round a bar trying to get served. Only gripe was the real ale was super chilled which I am not a fan of. Real ale should be cask temperature not lager chilled. That’s why only the 4 stars. The staff were excellent and friendly.

A lovely building, staff attentive. BUT one of the smallest servings of roast vegetables I've ever seen. I have family that work with Wetherspoon, I know how the roasted veg is portioned out, this portion was adjusted to be criminally small ...
