One of my personal favourites in Leicester and a place that wasn’t too negatively affected by the pandemic and lockdowns. So I am really glad it is still around. Staff are always nice and friendly, not long of a wait to sit or when ordering any food or drinks too. It is a lot larger than most people actually expect, a large dining area and a good sized lounge area. They even have more room downstairs next to the toilets. The mood and atmosphere is my favourite thing about this place, always a chilled vibe.

Visited with a group of 6 for lunch. Restaurant was pretty quiet with only 3/4 other tables occupied but service was still slow to start with, we had to ask to take food drinks/order whilst staff were putting cutlery and glasses out on other tables. Once service started the food and drinks came promptly and the food which we had was well presented and tasted great. I did find a hair in my food, but overall the experience was OK and I would probably give 3.5ish / 5 but have rounded up. I like the choice on the menu and hope my experience was just a one off.

This is a great place to hangout with your friends and family. It's embodies its name as it is very cosy. The look from outside is very deceptive as it appears small but it is quite spacious. It has a vintage vibe to it. Staff don't have a uniform which adds to the quirkiness. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and enjoyable. I would definitely be coming back here.

It was alright! I bought buttermilk fried chicken with fries and coleslaw! The chicken was over fried and it was hard to cut and hurting my teeth. The fries lacked salt but it was good. Coleslaw was good. Service is quite bad! They took forever to even coke to the desk to get the order or to get our payments even though we saw some of them just standing there! The food took ages to come but given that it was a busy night, understandable! Slightly overpriced.

This place is a jewel in Leicester. The food is exceptional, lot's of choices and reasonably priced. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Remember your previous orders, which is a rare talent.

Thanks to my friend I am getting familiar with the variety of clubs in Leicester. If you don't know what is inside, you would never guess! I didn't expect to see such an enormous place. The atmosphere is bustling, the service makes you feel appreciated, and the food was simply delicious. Will definitely come back there!

We parked a stone throw away in the rooftop parking! Which was fantastic as we had birthday cake and balloons etc for the table as it was a birthday celebration. Greeted with a very warm welcome and was very happy to accommodate requests for moving tables around etc. Nothing was to much trouble! We were looked after very well and was made to feel really valued and so very welcome! Food also was delicious! We were all happy with the atmosphere, the food and the staff! Highly recommend!

The building is a lovely converted factory so really spacious and airy and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Drinks are a bit expensive (expect around £11 for a double spirit with mixer and up to £8 for a regular glass of wine) but there is a cocktail offer between 4 and 8pm if that's your thing (not Friday or Saturday though) the food menu has something for everyone and tries really hard but the portions are a little small (I had the duck salad at £13.50 and although it was delicious I had to have snack when I got home) the ladies loo could do with some attention as it's a bit shabby but generally quite nice. Attracts a more sophisticated crowd then other leicester bars. Private room also available downstairs for parties and events.

Disappointing … Staff - Having pondered the menu and made a choice I went to the bar to order the golden glow smoothie. I was told they didn’t have it available. Madly, the bar doesn’t have a menu! So having returned to my table, chosen again and returned, I was then told the morning greens smoothie wasn’t on either. Before returning I asked if any smoothies were available and after she punched the keys a few times I got a “ohh no sorry, seems we don’t have the stuff to make smoothies”. Clueless and you’d have thought the waitress would have told me this when she handed me my menu and asked if I had any allergies! But alas, I observed the same sketch with a family of 6. Staff do not communicate at all and they’re pretty inept. Place - A nice lazy Sunday morning place with a nice vibe, where 3 of the 12 breakfast options are vegan - vegan sausage brioche bun, smashed avocado and their vegan garden breakfast … Food - Vegan Garden Breakfast £10.50. Scrambled turmeric tofu, harissa beans, avocado, vine tomatoes, mushroom, spinach, toasted sourdough with vegan butter. It was nice but it wasn’t scrambled tofu at all - it was turmeric on cubes of tofu which were grilled so the edges were hard and crispy. The harissa beans were simply a ramekin of beans with harissa oil on top which made it oily failing to impart any harissa flavour. All in all, nice but don’t expect what’s written on the menu! Tea £2.55. Nice but having to pay an additional 45p for oat milk over soya! £3 … Really? Would I return? Probably not because there are better places with better service and I’m likely to get what’s on offer. Would I recommend? I’d recommend Prana Cafe as they do a better vegan breakfast with more choices and the most fantastic selection of teas.

Fabulous restaurant and bar in Leicester. Great space, which used to be a factory, with lots of tables. We went for brunch and there was a great choice of dishes. Service was very friendly and efficient, we didn't have to wait long for our food and it was fantastic. All the staff were lovely and we were made very welcome. I can't wait to go again for lunch or dinner next time.

Great restaurant and pub in the city. Has a wide variety of dishes. Drinks are good. The restaurant is upstairs and they have an area for big groups downstairs. Ideal to go with friends. Closes at 1 am in the weekend. Very nice couch in bar area. Medium price.

Food was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice. Service was really good! Points lost for chips being burnt and the toilets had a puddle of water in them!

Stunning venue. Visited just for drinks on this occasion and were lucky enough to find a free table. Team were super attentive in clearing tables as guests departed. Super warm atmosphere - definitely want to revisit ! Visited again recently and the same standard continued 5 months later !

Lovely restaurant with some much vintage paraphernalia. It is a quite large space so you can possibly find a seat here without a reservation on most days (don’t hold me to it though). The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful with their suggestions. Liked the brunch that we had too, fresh produce and quite delicious. They have a decent vegan and gluten free options, although I didn’t really enjoy the gluten free bread.

Love this place, it's really a chilled vibe, we normally visit in the morning so it's perfect not too many people and the staff is really accommodating and attentive.

This was our first time visiting, it was a really nice setting and the cocktails were lovely, the food was average, both the steak dishes were very fatty pieces of steak and the chicken dish as you can see from the photo was burnt and extremely dry, I’m surprised they sent it out burnt but as we had evening plans we did not have time to return the dish, overall an ok experience.

Came here for a leaving do for a mate. One thing you can say is that the staff are very nice and friendly and helpful. In particular Aleah behind the bar. Very nice helpful and great at making cocktails. The food and atmosphere in the place is also great. The decor is nice too with sofas and old industrial style lighting and industrial look in general. Reason for the 3 stars is that the options for groups are pretty rubbish. You have a huge menu and offer lots of options, but when it comes to groups the options are very limited which doesn't make sense to me. I had the steak and I have to say it was great, cooked just how I liked it and was very tasty and juicy. I feel the prices are a bit much as well, the steak is really the only thing to have and that's an extra £5 on top of the £20pp fixed menu then you have to pay for sauce and anything extra you want. Similar to that of the burger etc. It is a shame. I would come back here but not with a big group. I'd maybe come back just for a few drinks.

Lovely evening celebrating my birthday. Made to feel very special by allthe lovely staff. Food was amazing, loved the new menu and really enjoyed the espresso martini.

It reminds me of The Curio lounge in Stroud ..quirky set up from times gone by set amongst the history of a factory from bygone days. Huge space that would work beautifully as a wedding venue . Haven't eaten here yet but drinks are a good variety which you can enjoy in various chairs and sofas dotted around the space and are just as the name suggests ,cosy !

I have been here many times but never to eat. I can't believe I have never tried the food before because it is delicious. I had the dirty chicken burger and every element of the dish was paid attention to and very tasty. Shared the dessert but wish I hadn't as it was so nice I could of ate 2. More expensive than other establishments but very worthit. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will be here again soon. Amazing atmosphere.

Eve has an absolutely Fab Host , and if you have allergies this is somewhere I would definitely recommend our 5 year old Son has severe Nut & crustacean Allergy - I have never eaten anywhere that has taken such good care and really made the whole process feel as relaxing as it can be! From start to finish Eve made sure we were looked after!!

Quite a nice place to have brunch with friends, or enjoy some delicious cocktails. The menu has enough choice that everyone can find something they'll like - vegans included. Good that they are so vegan friendly here. The food itself was nice but I wouldn't say it was amazing, so not the place if you have high expectations for cuisine. The service is good, plenty of smiles going around and they try to help tailor dishes around intolerances, etc. My favourite aspect of the place is the decor, with the strong industrial vibes of exposed piping and lighting, light and airy rooms, and even a loom room downstairs that functions as a separate bar area. Overall, if you want somwhere to have some food and drinks with your mates in Leicester and need a vegan-friendly menu, go to Cosy Club!

Works meal out for 9 people. Staff were lovely and friendly, although we seemed to be forgotten after dinner and before we ordered pudding. Meal was really nice but I've marked it down 1 as the menu hasn't really changed in 3 or 4 years! Popcorn cheesecake was to die for! And huge too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😂 Overall a really lovely experience, thank you.

Visited with my daughter to have brunch. Really helpful & friendly staff giving us a great welcome. Food was delicious & reasonably priced. The manageress on the front desk and our waitress, Nell (who was apparently new to the job - but it certainly didn't show!), provided us with excellent service. Thanks for a very enjoyable visit!

Decent bar well located in town. It's normally busy for food in the evening; so wise to book. A fair bit of choice drinks wise and the cocktails are nice. I think one recommendation would be to do a bit of table service for people drinking. I think in Leicester you're a differentiator, rather than competing on cheap drinks so I think offering customers more value rather than lower prices is the way forward. In fact; I think you're probably a bit cheap.

Amazing place for a work meal out, great range of very tasty food, the gluten free stuff was very clearly labelled and it was very stress-free to order. Lots of space and we weren't bumping in to eachother, I think we had about 50 people and there was still space for other guests. The food was brought out promptly, the staff were lovely and efficient, a great range of drinks were available and they even lent us a card game to play together. We had a sharing platter of starters, I had some of the arancini, halloumi and charred brocolli, I then had the mushroom risotto for main and the honey comb chocolate Brownie with ice cream for dessert. The place had great atmosphere, clean restrooms, and wasn't to dark or bright. No idea about parking.

I was on a night out in Leicester with my friends and we visited this place. We didn't get drunk but the bouncer insisted for whatever reason that I was drunk (maybe because we were enjoying ourselves). So she separated me from my friends and took me outside. I had to stand apart from my friends who stayed inside. It was cold and I didn't have a coat. Even though there was evidence that I was sober, the bouncer still wouldn't let me inside. She was clearly a controlling bully who didn't like to see people enjoying themselves. Anyway I didn't go back into the venue after that. Eventually my friends came out and we moved on. I just wish I had stood up for myself and re entered the venue regardless. Not somewhere to go if you want to have fun clearly.

We come here quite regularly, lovely staff and great selection on menu! The starters are amazing, good to see they expanded their dessert menu, the mains are limited but great selection. Even throughout covid they have taken a lot of measures to keep it safe for customers and staff, it will be missed during another lockdown but we will be back in the future!

Food was ok, portion sizes are small for what you can get at other places for the same money, i was told on arrival if i had the NHS app, we said we didn’t, the waitress said i will let you in this time but next you won’t be able to come in without it, thats completely wrong from the staff member as it’s not mandatory from the government. For this I would rate your company a 3 star, if it wasn’t for that then I would of gave you 4 stars

Great Atmosphere

Brilliant place. Went there with a friend for coffee and brunch today. The welcome and the service were excellent. The food quality, variety and size were excellent. The whole atmosphere with an amazing amount of natural light coming through is perfect. Here is a place when even its busy, you can still talk to your table without shouting. I also loved the fact that you had really a mix of people..teens, bit older, families, couples...This is a place you can take your gran for coffee and dessert, your friends for a meal and a beer or your date for a glass of wine with for brunch.. You are served without feeling rushed, waitresses and waiter are amicable and professional while friendly . Your order is double checked and this is a place where you take your time. This is how brunch should be.. Highly recommended, this one of my go to in Leicester. My friend from Birmingham was equally impressed. Thank you for a great experience. Nb : Price wise , its also excellent. 2 coffees, rose lemonade, Cosy Egg chorizo (Egg bénédictine style), a cosy sandwich, proper lettuce, proper tomatoes, lemon and herbs chicken, crunchy but not oily bacon,1 salad and 1 expresso for less than 25£! Cant complain can you.. I left 5£ tip on top well worth it. Keep it going! Love that place.

Lovely food

One of the best nights I have ever had. Thank-you so much to all of the staff as it was an absolutely lovely evening. I started with ordering drinks at the bar. I got served immediately and had a drink in my hand within minutes. I can’t wait to come back for a few more. The food was astounding! As a chef I’m usually disappointed/unsatisfied/uninterested but the sea bass was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had! Whoever cooked that fish needs to know that it was perfectly done and I shall be thinking about that meal semi-regularly. I don’t often post reviews but I genuinely thought I’d be doing the world a disservice by not posting this one. (And to the staff that evening (02/08/23), in another life I’d love to be friends, I had the joy of listening and watching you serve tables and talk amongst yourselves, made me think on all the fun times I had back when I was a waitress.) I’m so sorry I did not catch names, but I wasn’t served by just one person. I spoke to a bunch of you lovely people. I felt so welcome. This whole experience was so refreshing, I’m genuinely still buzzing from it. Keep on doing what you’re doing guys, it’s working <3
