I enjoy having brunch here. It seems like a good pub. I would really like to see what it is like at night here, so I'm going to come back for that experience. I found food very tasty and customer service was friendly. I found asking to pay immediately for each thing you ordered odd. I think it's better to have one bill at the end of your stay especially as we were seated. Update: I went back at night and it was smashing! I was transported back to a proper Irish pub. Food wise, the burger was very plain.

We booked the upstairs for a private event. Remy and Andy looked after us all night, 65 people that wanted to enjoy a post covid get together and it was great fun. The upstairs has beer pong and ping pong tables for use. There’s a private terrace for those that need regular fresh air, we also had a buffet meal for everyone with both veggie and non-veg options. The food was tasty and fresh and the service was fantastic. Recommended for private parties and events

Was in Leicester City centre and visited Queen of Bradgate. I must say the atmosphere was great for a Friday night. Good music, friendly staff and nice company made it a memorable evening. ✨️

Popped in here for a drink/coffee and was really impressed. A big pub with plenty of tables but felt cosy and warm. Friendly staff and clearly happy and cheerful at work which is always nice to see. We weren't eating or drinking alcohol, but the food we saw coming out looked lovely and there was a good choice of beers, spirits etc.

This is a great pub with a good range of drinks, plus a dining only area. The menu is standard gastropub fayre with decent veggie and vegan options. Upstairs can be hired for functions, and I've been to a few - it's a great space. Friday and Saturday nights are busy, especially during happy hours 5-8pm when there are drinks offers.

this is UPSTAIRS which can be hired. the area is large enough for quite a few people to hang out and have a good time. The Place includes a bar, various tables and chairs, a couple of ping pong tables, an outdoor terrace, space for a dancefloor, and a small cinema room housing almost 30 people. it was a great time since we had a meriachi band and dj and used the cinema room to play nintendo switch as well as watch a movie preview. the music can get very loud but the venue can cater for it. towards the end we were asked to leave pretty quickly like 5 mins to get our stuff and get out kinda speed... kinda killed the mood a little ~

Massive thank you to Remy & Elliot from the upstairs bar. They made our group really welcome, both absolutely brilliant bar staff. Top of their trade, friendly and approachable, had recommendations a plenty and stories that came with them. It was an absolute pleasure to try new stuff that I’ll be looking out for from now on. A few of us are already talking about another group event at QOB, I hope they are on the bar when we come again. Top evening thank you both. Dan

Pre-order only is rarely, if ever, ideal; fair enough for functions but not the usual approach to a standard Friday night at a pub. Soup of the day, non-specific a term as that is, surely must come with some expected rate of request to change the dish, but the request to do so was refused. As the pub was being attended for goodbye food and drinks for a colleague, the decision was accepted. However, when it was announced by the patronising staff that the business was cashless, it became much less tricky to leave without participating in the evening or feeling uncomfortable with doing so. Either sticking with the soup or only being allowed to pay electronically might have been more readily accepted, but both felt like an imposition.

We hired the top floor of the Queen of Bradgate for our wedding reception a week ago, and cannot praise it enough. Upstairs amenities include a cinema where we screened films throughout the evening, table tennis (which the children appreciated), and a great setup for a live band. Karissa and the team could not have been more helpful in the preparations, meeting with us more than once and offering to liaise directly with our cake-maker and band to make things easier. The food was great as well, as it always is.

We called in on Sunday afternoon and it was an open mic gig. Great music, great atmosphere. Had a lovely chat to the bar man Remy, who was lovely and looked after us well.

Remy, Matt, Karissa and Emma made us feel really welcome and went above and beyond to make our birthday party truly amazing. It was such a good venue with fantastic staff. I can’t recommend them highly enough. These guys specifically deserve a substantial raise. They’re awesome and I’d recommend the venue and the staff to anyone.

Great atmosphere, great food and a great attitude from the team on shift today (02/03/22) Emma who served my friend and I was very engaging and cheerful. I had a slight miscommunication regarding an item I ordered from the food menu and they went above and beyond in rectifying the situation between herself and the manager Matt. It felt like they truly understood what it meant to deliver great customer service which is refreshing to see! I will be back for more food, drinks and atmosphere! Thanks again!

No main larger, Stella, Heineken or Carling only specialist larger. Beer ok but I don't drink beer so I had Guinness. Pub itself nice.

We booked the upstairs for an anniversary party and the staff were brilliant from start to finish. They were very accommodating with requests and bar staff were all friendly and willing to help throughout the night. Shout out to Remy and David for doing such a good job making sure we were looked after. Great place with lots of seating but still plenty of open space for ping pong and dancing. Would 100% recommend using for any parties or events.

We enjoyed just about the best Sunday dinner ever here! Will not hesitate to come back. The beef was amazing, ginormous Yorkshire puddings, even cauliflower cheese! All so good. Thank you.

Attended a cocktail masterclass including a meal for friends' birthday - absolutely brilliant night. Cocktails were lots of fun and really tasty. 2 course dinner was lovely too and great choice of music playing

The pub itself is cool, and the beer garden is amazing. I personally found the food a bit overpriced for what I got (linconshire sausage and mustard mash); for me the flavours could have been stronger, but that's personal taste.

Such a good place to have a drink and relax with some food, remy, kush and Emily have made my experience that much better by being the best staff ever. If I had a pub the management better watch out cus I would nick these three staff in a heartbeat

Went here on Sunday with a few friends after a university reunion night. We had already stated that Sunday morning was going to be a roast at QoB, was good service staff very friendly and nice. Was pretty quiet, but starters took around about 20 minutes to arrive despite being bruschetta and some halloumi sticks. Fair enough, was quite tasty. Ordered the roast dinners and fair enough again took a decent amount of time, as a former chef I appreciate it takes as long as it needs to take. What I wasn’t happy with was the portions of the roast, for 12 odd quid I was given 3 small quarters of roast potatoes, about 200g of vegan nut roast and the rest of the meal filled up by carrots, cabbage, and cauliflower cheese. Individual parts of the dish were quite tasty, as mentioned the cauliflower cheese and the nut roast. But the portions were tiny. Had to go to eat somewhere else immediately afterwards. Not really impressed considering that it used to be elite.

After attending this place with my wife several times per month during the summer, we were turned away this weekend because I was wearing tailored shorts, the reason being "it's September now." Meanwhile ladies were getting in fine wearing the shortest of short skirts. I was tempted to just tell the door staff (who were in no way responsible for this policy) that I was identifying as a women for the evening to see if this would solve the issue, but we decided instead to go over the road to Bruxelles and we had a good night there. We really like this place but on Saturday they scored a massive own goal and the door staff told me they had turned away several that night for the same reason. September it may be but it got up into the low 20s on Saturday and was a warm humid night, and this doesn't address the other issue of why it's not ok for a bloke to wear short trousers but it's fine for a lady to do so and then some. Is that even legal these days...I'm not sure it is. No common sense, no regard for a regular customer who has spent a fortune there.... I've given it 2 stars only because the lad on the door didn't try to defend the policy, and was a nice guy just doing his job.

Celebrated my citizenship with Queen of Bradgate. Amazing service and food. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. It was an added delight and bonus to have Remy be our bartender for the evening. He went over and above to make each guest feel welcome. He made delicious cocktails, ones on and off the menu. Thank you to all the staff for creating a lovely atmosphere for a celebration evening.
