Please do not waste your money and order from this place. The portion and taste was not worth the price. I’m normally nice but this is ridiculous. This was supposed to be okra btw. It doesn’t draw and only has 3 pieces of small ‘assorted meat’ for £15

The Hind is a solid traditional pub in Leicester, a stone's throw from the station. They normally offer a healthy selection of cask ales. Upon my visit in October, on a stopover between Stansted Airport and Derby, ALL of the cask ales were out. All of them. The barman was very friendly, but of course there was nothing he could do. Fairly cozy interior, pleasant place.

A great find in the heart of Leicester! Food is great quality - their African menu is banging! - and service is good. My wife and I will be recommending this place to all of our family and friends.

What a lovely pub in a prime location! Straight from arrival to leaving the staff were friendly and welcoming and the vibe inside was lively despite having hardly anyone else in. There’s a great range of drinks and considering where it is the prices are good. It’s lovely to find a venue with a pool table, so this is a good option for a group of friends and there’s plenty of seating along with TV screens. For a more party vibe it’s highly recommended and I’ll certainly be returning!

One of the worst pints I've had for a very long time. The beer tasted off, the lines not looked after and the staff didn't really know what they were doing. Avoid

This place is opposite the Leicester train station. Small and compact with pool table and beer garden where there is sometimes free music provided. (I saw a metal band called Pogo Preacher pictured who were excellent) Service is average and drinks quite expensive. Avoid if the football is on as the law put the away fans in it.

We entered and no one greeted us. We had made a reservation before hand but the waitress and staff did not explain to us as to where our table was. After finding our own table, we decided on our dishes (Mostly African based) and had ordered them. It took a long time for the order to come and it came one by one and not as a group, so some of us were eating while others were not. I ordered the fish and chips and the fish had no seasoning while the chips were loaded with salt. It also came with peas that did not taste good at all. The Tarter sauce was incredibly sour and I did not finish it. The ketchup was good. Overall, it's an okay place to go but I don't think I will be back again to order food.

I had an amazing time out with my friends where we had different English and African dishes at the same time, order was ready in no time fresh and so delicious especially their signature PB burger 🍔 we couldn’t stop at a plate, beautiful smiling staffs calm environment with a lot of attention to make sure we were satisfied. I’m not just coming back, this is my new home I say thank you ❤️🥰 there should be a 10 ⭐️

Great local pub right opposite the station. Variety of seating areas. Large screens to watch sport. Good range of draught beers. Welcoming and efficient staff. Great on match days - full of Tigers!

After using this nice very quite pub for the 6th time, I got refused a snakebite🐍 after drinking them with no problems for the past couple of months I've now sacked this place .. Godbless 🦋

After coming to this very quite bar several times, I always ordered a snake🐍bite & was served by the lovely hostesses Angie, on my 8th visit I was about to be severed by an African Gentleman who refused to serve me my normal beverage of a Snake🐍Bite .. I'll never return here, they have lost a loyal customer .. I've now sacked The Hind ( Passionless & Bland ) Goodbye Angie & Godbless 🦋 💋

Ideal place for a pub when trains delayed, not busy as we would have expected but hey ho.. unfortunately i found the bar staff to be rude got our 2 pint order wrong should have been lager n black (blackcurrant) then after a lager lime shandy added blackcurrant and asked for an additional 60p .. no offence but we will not be back..

Really nice traditional pub. Caribbean food on offer, back garden with booths out the back when weather is warmer. Staff are great, oh and the best Gunness around, worked I Leicester for nearly 2 years and really like this place ✌️

We work up the road in a private hospitality venue. Every Saturday night when we finish we come into this pub with all our work colleague. Staff are so welcoming and the landlady is one of the best in Leicester! Ady

The African dishes are most definitely valid, became a regular customer after my first time eating here. Great reasonable prices and customer service is up to standard by all staff, would definitely recommend this restaurant/pub.

My partner and I came here on a Friday morning for breakfast before catching the coach back to Taunton. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a full English breakfast. It was delicious! I was very impressed. My partner enjoyed her poached egg on toast. I noticed an Afro Caribbean menu. I didn't know what anything on the menu was, but one of the staff (Angie) explained what everything was. My partner and I are planning on coming up to Leicester again in March next year, so will definitely be coming back to try out this menu.
