First time in and was served cold chilli con carne with my gf so we had it change second time we had same oder and 2 condenents were missing lovely places nice staff she was good to change it and put it right

Very friendly customers and staff. Always lots of friendly banter between the different football fans. The drinks are very good price. They make amazing cobs at an Excellent price at £1.50.

The beers here are so affordable. We got three drinks for £7.50 and the staff are so lovely.

Advertises dog friendly - me and my family went in with a well behaved small dog who barked a couple of times upon entrance. A barmaid then said "We can't do with your dog barking, if it carries on, you will have to leave." A group of chaps however we're allowed to swear and shout, and make new customers not feel welcome. This pub should not be advertised as dog friendly, however I did find it a little bit RUFF.

Lovely pub, good beer and friendly staff also like the fact that it is dog friendly 🐕 personally I like the fact that the bar person told a person with a dog to leave that was brarking excessively.

Friendly pub, good beers at good prices and very quick service

ordered a pint of carling, barmaid asked do I want it on a ticket, I said yes. Came to £8.50. didn't realise id bought one pint and 2 on the ticket in total 3 pints which I didn't want. Not very friendly customers in there if your new or don't frequent it very often. One more thing, make sure your not sitting at anyone's table else you'll be made to feel uncomfortable. Won't be returning. Recommend The Fountain or The Hansom Cab

I hadn't been in for years. The preservation and redecorations are in full swing. Smashing atmosphere and the best crusty cob I've had in over a decade. Definitely a lunchtime stop for me from now on. As promised, been back. Cobs are to die for.

Definitely unique. Bit of a marmite place, with interesting clientele. Always a good laugh, if you can feel the vibe.

Well been in a few times not too bad.the place does need updating.The regulars are a bit odd and give you funny looks however the bar staff are friendly.

A fun pub, not the nicest or poshest, but a great place to hang for a night with a great dj

I used to go there often with a friend of mine, especially weekends. I loved the atmosphere, some of the Staff we knew by name. It was always nice to have a couple of lagers at a place you knew you were valued as a customer. You will just chat with about almost any regular there and enjoy your lagers.

Great place for a lunchtime drink if shopping in Leicester, close to city center, at the rear of the market. Staff are great and the locals friendly. Price of a pint is very competitive. Décor is a little basic and In past times i would probably refer to this establishment has a Back Street Boozer (not that's a bad thing).

It does the job, very busy inside , but tables are spaced out and its table service only. They didn't have enough staff so service was slow but It was good value and the tall ceiling and traditional interior are comforting!

Open beyond 12. Great Loud music and easy to get served quickly. Fun place and dance floor
