Very bijou but upmarket wine bar situated in stoneygate.. Great variety of drinks and cocktails.. Do you adore gin? then please do come in.. Lovely staff..

Had a really great experience at this bar, the inside wasn’t expected, cosy and warming. The interiors and exteriors over exceeded my expectations. A lovely niche place to chill out, enjoy a range of drinks alongside a great barman who welcomed me and my partner, will definitely return.

Enjoyable cocktail bar that has a quaint little garden and a small balcony upstairs. With slightly quirky drinks list they'll also do off the menu classics. Stylishly decorated.

The Toast Inn is a little gem of a place, nestled away in vibrant Stoneygate. The cocktail menu is AMAZING and has something for everyone. The cocktails here really are my favourites ever...all beautifully created by the very talented mixologist, Sam. The timeless classics all have that special Toast Inn twist and often have little extras such as gourmet chocolates in organza bags, real rose petals etc The detail that goes into every drink is perfection! For those who love gin there is a vast array of different gins and mixers, not to mention champagne, wines and beers etc. The atmosphere is super chilled and laid back and the staff are all so lovely and friendly....Definately my favourite place to relax with friends and enjoy the best cocktails in Leicestershire 😊

Lovely secret garden and intimate place to enjoy a classic cocktail with a twist, friendly staff, blankets if you get cold. Very good selection of gin and other liquors. Great craft beer.

Located on peaceful Allandale Road in Stoneygate, Leicester this super cozy gin bar impresses on entry and continues delivery on a captivating experience. The Toast Inn is well-presented with abundant use of wood and stone, with an open, wood-burning fireplace and with clever decor (including a lengthy bar complementing the setting). Of particular note is the lighting, this must be near unique and truly does serve to create a quality atmosphere for engaging in thoughtful discussion or an evening of intimate drinks. As for drinks, there is a large range of gin-based cocktails supplemented with beers and wines. The cocktail selection is extensive and highly creative. Although we did not eat here the food plates we saw being served looked very tasty and well-presented. Did check out the back courtyard and it would be a fine spot to mellow with a drink on a summer evening. We found service at the Toast Inn personal, friendly and informed. Those with a keen interest in music will enjoy both the tunes being played (no canned, piped music here just the real stuff) and discussing music trivia and subtleties with host Steve. In Leicester this is a place to seek out and to savour.

A real wonderful and intimate bar offering a varied and delicious range of cocktails, wines and more. Along with many great features such as a distinctive character created from choices of materials, layout and furnishings, the service was also great and we felt like regulars from the outset. The pub garden is certainly unique and I am looking forwards to enjoying a drink there on a warm evening in summer.
