It is a very good pub it has nice staff and respectful staff they have a nice variety of drinks and the events they host are very good and they think about everyone who goes to the pub but this is just my thoughts some people may have different

Brilliant pub! Very friendly and has such a community atmosphere! It feels very welcoming, staff are very friendly and even know my drink of choice on arrival

Great place. Went recently and was welcomed by the new landlord. Great service, hospitality and friendly staff. Highly recommended and will be going again on a regular basis. Even better was the fact that the landlord got on the 🎤 and did a rendition of Ed Sheerans perfect (Andrea Bocheli version too). Can't wait to go back.

I come to this pub frequently and really enjoy the banter and good friendships that I have made. The landlord and staff work hard and are always friendly. As a new face to Leicester it is nice to have a local that I can walk into without feeling intimidated. Thank you Colin and the Team ❤️

Great pub, great atmosphere, always have a good night here whether it's for a chilled drink or a good night out. The staff are lovely, as are the other customers and they have good deals on drinks which is a bonus 🍻 it's by far my favourite pub to go to 🙌 and Friday night disco is brill 👌

Absolutely amazing place to go if you want a family run, family friendly pub! They Stock a great selection of drinks which are well priced and always have decent offers on. There is often a little bit extra going on like karaoke or quizes but best of all, we as a family are really Looking forward to all of the upcoming seasonal events for the children!

Was passing through Leicester and stopped at this Sportsbar for one drink and wasn’t disappointed. Nice, cold, fresh beer was what I needed. Decent size car park and big beer garden, also kids friendly and a few of them we’re having a good time outside by the look of them. Welcoming landlords and friendly bar staff. If I’m passing by again I’ll definitely pop in for a pint or two 😉

This pub is more like a youth club on Friday/Saturday evenings. Clearly I.D is not being asked for. There is food being served (pies, sausage rolls) that has been prepared and oven baked in the most filthiest of kitchens that homes a 7 month old German Shepherd! No food hygiene certificate and checks have been done. The landlord gives customers free drinks to write reviews to try and boost star rating!! Also the pub is closed by 10pm most days of the week

Had a afternoon in this pub this week and had a great day young man nick behind bar was a realy nice guy and took time too talk to people and knows his customers and what they like what a nice guy. Very nice place too had a great afternoon thankyou

Top pub, locals are great and the beer is good never a bad pint, if so there’s no issue with them sorting it out. Bar staff are helpful, get along with the customers to fine. Get ya self down here !

Cracking little pub !! The staff are fab and everyone is friendly , they run lots of family events too and just a all round lovely little pub

We had our recent wedding renewal here, great place easy parking £100 deposit for room keep it clean and get it back Only down side is disabled access but the pub gut us in through the back of the bar 10/10

Had my daughters birthday party here. Paid £100 deposit and got it back after we cleaned up! Staff were lovely and felt comfortable throughout x

Recently visit the Sportsman Pub in Leicester and I can honestly say it’s one of the most welcoming friendly pubs I’ve ever been to great atmosphere friendly locals and regulars I honestly can’t praise this place enough all I can say Is Carlsberg don’t do pubs but if they did they’d be just like the Sportsman 🍺🍺🍺🍺👍👍👍👍

We hired the room for a birthday party. It was £100 & refunded as long as the room was left as we found it and all rubbish was removed. So the room was free. It was a very large room with a pool table,tv, jukebox, slot machine. We also had use of their projector. There is a full bar and the alcohol prices were very reasonable @ £3 a pint. Would highly recommend

Amazing atmosphere, great service, friendly staff, the owners are down to earth and are very welcoming, the venue is warm and welcoming, space for kids, great entertainment, pool, dukebox, football, evening entertainment. I would recommend the sportsman to anyone who enjoys a pint or 9

I met my ex wife and my girlfriend in this establishment. (Luckily they didn’t know they were both there) Extremely friendly locals who can have the best laughs at the most depraved level imaginable. Beer is reasonable and you can even find a random 5p on the shelf if needed. (Unless someone’s nicked them all for a pint!) A proper pub.

Wonderful venue with wonderful staff. It also helps that the landlord alex is absolutely stunning. Could hardly drink my beer with my hands shaking with nerves around him. Toilets well stocked with loo roll too. Would recommend to anybody wanting a good night or day out
