Coast to Coast is an American Diner in the heart of Highcross shopping Centre with lots of trendy eateries wine bars and restaurants near by including the cinema. Coast to coast ambiance and atmosphere is great and relaxing to come here as a couple or in groups party's or works christmas party's. This Diner is a 2 floor restaurant with a great Atmosphere and has a bar and separate dinning area's food is very substantial too a lovely place to come and unwind wine&dine and have a lovely time.πŸ˜‰

Good, went in on my own and didn't feel like a Billy-no-mates. Staff were friendly, food was good, I had the American BBQ and a pint of cider with the cookie dough sundae and a latte to follow. I've knocked a star off as I stood around for a while waiting to be seated

Put off going here since I thought I had it sussed. Good location, premium price and mediocre "American" food is what I thought. Coming here confirmed that. Good points: Very nice location overlooking St Peters Square. Relaxing environment and good cocktails and drinks when BOGOF. Fries were pretty good. Bad points:The regular chicken burger was about on par with Maryland chickens Β£1 burger, outclassed by any fillet burger from a fast food joint. Dry and cheap. The chilli burger was surprisingly ok value since it came with fried and coleslaw, but not as good as handmade burger co next door. The firecracker prawns were ok but the buffalo sauce it came with was pretty disgusting. The sauce did work well however with the chicken wings if you like the spicy, slightly charred BBQ style (which I do!) I asked the waitress what the difference was between the chicken wing starter(Β£6) and the main (Β£15) to see which offered better value, since I'm fat like that, however she never returned and another waitress served us. To summarize, come here for the cocktails, location , friendly service and nice environment. After a few drinks the food won't be disappointing.

I attended as a meal for 1, which alot of busy restaurants normally frown at. But instead, was greeted by a lovely member of staff. The venue had great atmosphere and chicken and rib combo was very good. And quick service with both food and drinks.

See pictures for expectations (menu picture) vs reality! (Β£18 for that burger)!!! Food was ok but nothing too special. Very pricey. The double burger was disappointing and too expensive compared to what it was hyped up to be in the Menu. We were very disappointed by the waitress who refused to give us a charger for my gf's iPhone. She claimed they didn't have one but another waitress behind the bar got it for us when I asked her after.

I've always loved Coast to Coast and visited as often as I could while I was at university in Leicester. Even though I've now moved out of Leicester and it's a 1.5 hour drive I always try and visit Coast to Coast because it's one of my favourite restaurants. It's themed on an old American diner and the has the dΓ©cor and memorabilia to match. Even though they're always busy no matter what time of day you go (testament to how good the food is and how nice a place it is to go) they will always try and accommodate you and the staff are always friendly. If you like classic American diner food this is the place for you, every meal I've had from here has been delicious and has exceeded my expectations. Would always recommend here! P.s. they're slightly pricey and don't have vouchers but it's so worth it!

The breakfast here was amazing one of my best ever breakfast serving i've had. The sweet potatoe fritter along with three american pancakes maple syrup two fried eggs streaky bacon a sausage and potatoe pieces was just sweet and hit the spot. Great breakfast guys!
