Friendly staff. Sound for the Stipe band was good. Downside no cloke room to leave your coat. But otherwise great little initimate venue to see a band. Reasonable priced drinks. Recommend

What an amazing, lovely venue. The staff all love music passionately and are working so hard to bring great acts to their establishment. Saw Daoiri Farrell here and had a lovely time.

Went to 2 different shows (one Friday and one Saturday) and the vibe was so different. Great venue with a fantastic sense of community. Well staffed, clean and well kept (nice loos which is rarer than you'd think) and good acoustics. Some seating around the edge of the room too, but bear in mind the side area towards the stage at the back of the venue has a very different sound to the main area. Gets quite hot when it's busy and I'd always recommend ear plugs to protect your hearing (available at the bar if you don't have any) Good choice of drinks as well at normal pub prices (not rip off venue prices) would definitely return.

Great, small sized venue with a really well thought out layout and friendly staff. Stage is a good size so you'll see the live act from anywhere in the room.

A Small but Great Music Venue close to Leicester City Centre. Bands on around 5 nights per week showcasing a wide variety of styles ranging from Original Artists to Cover Bands. Great value offering a reasonable range of beers at good prices.

A fantastic little venue. Everyone is close to the stage and the band with a great view wherever you are. A gem of a venue!

Great little place for gigs! I love the decor of artists painted on the walls and some that have played here have signed photos too. Reminds me of The Charlotte gig venue, with it's laid back vibe. The music sounds great here, and it's more of an intimate gig, with the stage being low and closer to the crowd. The place is open after gigs for a couple of hours if people want to stick around, and drink while listening to music. Drinks are a little expensive but you've got to support the smaller venues, or lose them. The staff on the door are friendly and chilled, and bar staff too. The place can get very hot during a gig, as there aren't any ceiling fans, which they could do with. I've seen The Bon Jovi Experience here many times, and they are fantastic! 👍👍👍👍

Best place for intimate music in Leicester. Well worth a visit. Staff are great. Don't miss out on the cheese and onion or Stilton and caramelised onion baps!

First visit for me. For a venue that size, the sound was audible and the stage was well within view. I've become a fan of these 'limited crowd' venue's. This one ticks all the right boxes. Highly recommended 😊

First time I've been there was when my friends were playing a concert there. This was also the first time that I saw this place open despite living next to it for 2 years. It seems it's always closed and opens only for the gigs. Very cosy inside with few interesting beers sold there. My favourite type of venue for a small concert, great atmosphere. I don't know what are typical prices for entry in UK, but it was quite expensive, £10 for entrance for not well known band.

Lovely friendly atmosphere for a folk gig. One or two nice beers on tap. Welcoming crowd and staff. Well worth the trip from Birmingham even on a school night.

Great little venue, we went to see Ellie Gowers, cracking little bar, great choices, very intimate and positive atmosphere and a wonderful place to experience live music

It's hot & sweaty, the sound is OK & the beer is average, but it's incredibly important to support grassroots community based music venues such as this, and every once in a while an absolute gem of a gig will happen. It's also run by some very lovely people. So for these reasons alone I wholeheartedly recommend you go & see something here & support it.

Brilliant little venue tucked away in Leicester City centre. You can even see where the Elephant Man use to be paraded on near by Wharf Street. You can hang by the bar & watch the bands on video / TV screen or get down the front!!

Been coming here for years. Me and family absolutely adore the place, we are music enthusiast and this place suits us perfectly. They've always got a really good mix of artists on so if you don't like them one week you're bound to find someone you like in the coming ones! Amazing staff that are lovely, funny and attentive. Only went on Saturday and can't wait to be back!

Great evening watching Laurence Jones and his band. Excellent value for money. Greg Brice as support was brilliant, too. Drinks reasonably priced and staff were very friendly.

👍👍 Love it!! A great picturesque ground tucked away in inner city Leicester. Always voted best playing surface each season (Probably because the away teams usually win there!!) It is the second or third biggest playing area in the world. There are plenty of service points for drink and food and improve...
