Like to know what policies and procedures your doormen have on assisting someone out of the night club, as your doorman have none !! They go against human rights act and health and safety laws ,since when as it been know to hold a lad down on in your night club by your doorman while another doorman kicks him in the face!! I think you should give your doorman some training on how to treat people with respect and personal space no one as the right to put they hands on another human being let alone hold them down and kick the hell out of them !! How many more as this happen to I wonder !!

I recently visited the club with a group for a hen party. Firstly we were laughed at by the doormen for being too old and I was personally victimized when one of the doormen said to me "I bet when you fart dust comes out". I felt ashamed and embarrassed. Later that night the same doorman pulled me off the dance floor and dragged me to the main entrance and threw me onto the pavement. I asked what I had done wrong and he said "We've had complaints that a person was wearing a Freddy Krueger mask in the club and judging by your face we assumed it was you". Given that I have recently turned 58, the impact of hitting the pavement left me bedridden for a week. I'm lucky I didn't die!

One of the best nightclubs in Leicester city, got about 3 to 4 dance floors and has got a variety of events during the week. Will definitely recommend to students, American superstars usually perform here as well when they in the West Midlands.

Bouncers don’t search or even care if your ID is yours as they didn’t even check it was me on there. Hardly any security defiantly don’t feel safe going out as someone new to the area. After the second drink my friend didn’t remember anything and that’s all they had the whole night…. SPIKED. well things like this are clearly going to happen when no one is checking bags or anything for that matter! Disgusting place should be shut down.

Refusing Romanian ID card at entrance is unlawfully and it is indeed discrimination. You should advertise that you are not allowing Romanians inside if they don't have a UK ID at least. Some common sense will be good as well.

Worst doormen you could ever come across, will never give you an actual reason as to why they're not letting u in, I walked in the que and they didn't let me in because they thought I was with the group behind me who they didn't let in because they one out of 8 of them didn't have appropriate shoes, he said he would change them and come back but they threatened him . The way they kick people out of the club is horrific , 5 big men literally choking a young lad while he gasps for breath until he gets outside isn't the way to go about it . Was this close to reporting to police . If I could rate this club 0 I would , the club itself isn't too bad but the doormen are from hell. Don't usually play the race card but I will on this one too as I seen some shocking acts

0 stars if I could. Staff unbearably slow! Took over an hour to be served the wrong drinks, Dec should not be working there if he can’t handle the pressure. Insanely rude and vile attitude! Would not recommend! Also beware as they will try and overcharge you over and over again. Toilets smell awful and unclean, taps didn’t work, toilets didn’t flush, hand dryer not working and holes in the wall…the list goes on despite it apparently being renovated. Wouldn’t waste your time and money…go somewhere else if you want to enjoy yourself!

Doormen have no respect for us they wouldn't let my mate in so my mate was asking can you just let me in the bouncer didn't like it he took my mate into a back room strangled him behind closed doors and threatened him If that's how the doormen act there then that's poor there job is to keep the peace not to start fights and threaten people poor doormen needs sorting out

This my first experience. I hate it . It was affouot day . Rune my birthday. To expensive drinks Amd we bought still. But they were keep take it . I had to speak to barman sent me to supervisor. Supervisor sent me to manager. It was a headache. They want helpfull at all .I wont back ever again .

I very much dislike club republic. It was a very stale atmosphere with subpar music and a DJ that won't stop trying to hype up people who are trying to enjoy the music or are too far gone to understand what's happening. Drinks are okay if you're a student on Mondays, but it's not really worth it. Bouncers are okay, but bar staff and such seem distracted and a bit incompetent. Not my personal choice for a club. Recommend Mosh over this.

Awful calling service I have been on the calling number for a very long time and no answer at all!! If you have a work number they should use it for people to contact them for whatever reason. My partner has lost his wallet with driving license, bank card and cash along with his car keys (BMW) I have emailed them and no answer in replying! I will be taking it trading standards for further research as this is a joke! It was an absolute dive. The manager aaron was shocking and so rude! Avoid at all costs. The toilet had no loo roll. Bar staff where rude and not welcoming. We left straight away and when we spoke to the manager he told me i was rude . Not a good place in leicester cant take criticism at all.

Got told to take my coat off by the bouncer and by the end of the night it had been stolen or given away to the wrong person, tried dealing with the managers but they're completely useless

one of the worst place I ever seen in my life, they even don't care about the staff. Everyone making complaint for the manager named Arron, one of the narrow minded person ever seen, he really don't know how to talk to a staff member and he always try to show superiority like he the god of the club. Even some staff member also not working in team they are playing such a rubbish politics means they always try to demotivate new staff member and try to take them away for doing heavy work. Mostly, they tried to put more pressure on new members. Even a person is hardworking still the manager always deduct half hour pay without any appropriate reason. Lastly, I can say people are just wasting their hard money for this garbage club and making their life in danger by going inside. It is better to go somewhere else or stay at home and enjoy with friends rather than wasting money in Republic. It is becoming more worst

Got to the club at around 1:30am and the bouncer said they are closed.. whilst very very clearly open!! It's obvious they didn't like the look of us to allow us to enter.

Its a waste of your time, club was supposed to be from 10.30PM to 3.00AM, they opened at 11.00 and they closed the dance floor. And finally they sounded the fire alarm at 12.45 and sent everyone home. Its a waste of time and money.

I had my phone stolen from this venue and they told me to come back tomorrow. This doesn't fill me with confidence thought cause a mates girlfriend lost her id and when she went back they had no idea

The worst club imaginable. Why does Google not allow for zero star ratings? I went out to a club for the first time in several years and this was beyond horrific. My partner and I got into three near-confrontations within one hour by different groups of girls although every female looks like a carbon copy of one another; the same hair style, the same (lack of) clothes and same level of intoxication. I could write a much longer review but I would rather move on in my life from this overpriced, understaffed and aggro-filled club. I would plead with anyone who sees themselves as being a decent member of society to avoid this place at all costs because unless you're one of the feral youths who frequent this venue, you will be out of place - and with a high risk of injury to your person.

1 door bouncer was so rude they shout in your face whilst u talk. The owner is the worst they have a kid running a club! The owner forces himself on women and he stands there like hes ontop!

Denied us entry despite having valid tickets. Claimed the event didn’t show up so we weren’t allowed in despite paying over £60 for this pass. Staff were rude, didn’t apologise or send us an email/message prior to let us know.

We've had mixed nights here, some really good night's and some awful nights. Drinks can be cheap depending on when you go and what you like to drink however the bouncers are shocking and the staff can be rude. The cheese room is the main room we go in and it's very good. Main room is too busy to hear anything! The night always depends on whether the students are out as otherwise the club feels empty

Very rude behaviour by bouncers Yesterday, on new year eve I have been stopped by bouncer while entering and without my consent he took my iPhone XS mobile and smashed it It fully damaged and unable to repair I have registered my complaint with police and waiting for there response.

Bouncers refused entry for no reason at all, when I challenged it I was told they close in an hour and they are no more letting people in. This was at 1.50am on Friday night during their “skint Fridays”

Have been Republic a few times and really enjoyed all of the visits. My personal favourite floor is retro but main floor has some great fire effects so would also recommend. The only bad thing I can think of is how problematic it is to get a drink. I found it quicker to go to another floor to buy drinks.

Absolute joke of a nightclub that actively allows its staff to beat up members of the public especially the short 5,6 lad with a woolly hat and his friend allowed a fight to break out metres away from the door to the (so called club) yet a violent fight breaks out and the so called bouncers allow for this fight to continue and bottle breaking it up joke, I’d love to speak to the bouncers that allow this #thisneedstostop

Just the worst club ever needs to be shut down

There’s no problem with the actual venue but with the workers. My friend payed for his coat to be placed in the cloakroom and when he went back to retrieve it we were told it wasn’t there. Instead of being helpful all we was told is that we should email and phone the venue the next day, we’ve done that and are yet to hear back from the venue although this happened nearly 3 weeks ago. Additionally the workers were extremely rude and acted as if it wasn’t their fault. Access into a cloakroom is only granted to workers meaning that a worker clearly stole my friends £1.5k jacket.

If I could give 0 stars then I would. Me and my friends went for Halloween, we gave our jackets in to the cloakroom. When we went back one of my friends tickets was lost. Left my phone number and name as well as description of jacket to a member of staff to call me back and never has. Tried calling the venue multiple times no answer, even messaged on Instagram and emailed. Absolutely shocking. Especially as this was a student night out. Waste of money and now having to buy a new jacked which is around £500

my friend lost her phone in the club along with 8other people and they took 7 days to reply messages /after telling us to call back and also come to the venue the following day- which was closed the following day (lies)and coincidentally someone else lost their phone a few weeks back and they said the same thing -we couldn’t track the phone but my got police involved and they tracked the phone to Manchester (Bolton) precisely and some how the other person lasso tracked their phone to Manchester aswell- The club workers/ owners are keeping phones and reselling it I can bet .

If I could give it zero stars I would, worst club I’ve ever been to, went for Halloween day utterly disappointed, music was horrendous, don’t know what type of remixes they were actively playing and thought sounded good, but it was shocking to say the least, will never go back and I urge anybody else thinking of going to not waste your money and time on a club like this
