I
drove
20
miles
each
way
to
play
their
StepmaniaX
cabinet.
When
I
arrived,
the
machine
was
lagging
like
crazy,
the
machine
then
crashed
and
took
my
credit.

RE:
"StepmaniaX
DX
Deluxe
-
Dance
Machine
Cabinet
Review"
I
reached
out
to
the
manager
there
who
gave
me
a
credit
back...
that
is
when
I
found
out
the
player
2
pad
didnt
even
work!!
It
just
randomly
plugs
in
and
out
when
it
wants
to.
THEN
I
found
out
that
the
machine
is
ONLY
1
SONG
FOR
£1!!!
WHAT
A
RIP
OFF!!
3rd
time
lucky:
they
just
turned
the
machine
off
on
me
I
then
reached
out
to
the
company
about
this.
They
told
me:
"We
have
found
in
some
of
these
machines
including
Leicester
that
the
plug
to
power
the
pad
comes
unplugged,
like
any
machine
this
gets
called
out
and
we
get
it
resolved."
But
when
I
contacted
my
friend,
he
told
me
the
pad
has
NEVER
worked
the
machine
used
to
be
3
songs
for
£1.
So
they
KNEW
the
pad
didnt
work
and
THEN
STILL
raised
the
price.
This
is
wrong
on
so
many
levels.
Despite
that,
epoxy
is
a
quid.
It
wont
come
out
then.
They
are
blaming
the
connector,
but
if
it
was
the
pad
connector
it
would
be
ON
or
OFF
and
it
would
have
been
working
at
least
once
which
it
hasn't
The
manager
then
told
me
3
songs
for
£1
was
a
mistake
by
the
person
who
setup
the
machine:
"These
will
have
been
errors
on
our
part
and
we
will
get
these
changed
once
we
find
out
which
ones
."....
and
that
Namco
told
them
to
set
it
up
this
way,
however,
other
business
chains
in
the
UK
are
not
1
SONG
FOR
£1
despite
getting
their
machines
from
Namco
also.
If
they
just
admit
they
only
care
about
the
money,
fair
enough,
but
it's
like
they
are
lying
to
try
and
pretend
they
are
not
greedy
and
deceitful.
THAT
is
what
I
don't
like.
Historically,
they
said
this
about
other
dance
games:
"Hollywood
Bowl
haven’t
had
a
Dance
Stage
for
quite
a
few
years
due
to
them
failing
and
parts
hard
to
come
by,
revenue
was
also
declining
and
new
machines
were
added
and
these
removed,
that
was
all
this
was
aimed
at."
However,
1.
Both
Euromixes
worked
fine
but
the
maintenance
guy
wouldn't
maintain
the
panels,
so
credits
declined.
Then
they
were
removed.
Same
with
the
Pump
it
up
pro
machine
2.
The
dancing
stage
supernova,
the
CRT
was
collapsing
and
the
blue
failed.
It
uses
a
29"
CRT
which
can
be
found
on
Wangan
and
many
other
arcades.
There
are
a
decent
amount
on
eBay
right
now
in
fact.
DDR
parts
can
be
found
on
arcadespareparts
and
ddrpad,
both
websites
are
stocked
right
now
and
before
also.
ASP
has
been
going
since
1999.
Despite
that,
you
can
convert
the
CRT
to
an
LCD,
which
are
sold
LITERALLY
ANYWHERE.
It's
just
a
bunch
of
excuses
after
excuses
in
order
to
milk
casuals
and
price
gouge
people
with
a
genuine
interest
in
the
game.
