This has to be the best steak restaurant in Leicester and one of the best steak places around the country. Steak was deliciously seasoned and cooked to perfection. The buffalo ribs were succulent and fell off the bone. The mocktails looked amazing with the smoke coming out of them (dry ice). Staff were very accommodating putting up a dividing screen around our table as my wife wears full niqab, very considerate! A definite 10/10. Just a word of advise to the staff/management, don't be so hungry by asking all customers to give you good reviews, it's a bit off putting. People will review you themselves as your food is great.

Our first time here and won't be our last. Great service and top quality food at a good price. The friendly staff had time to talk and all were obviously passionate about the business. Great to see a local independent company doing so well. We went for burgers (which were excellent) and will definitely go back for steaks and ribs. Highly recommended.

Best place in Leicester for steak. Lovely buffalo ribs. T-bone steak was on point but needed more peppercorn sauce , was a little dry. Should give the sauces out rather than on the steak itself when being served. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff and service.

First time here. We had crispy chicken, prawns and nachos as starters. The batter on the crispy chicken was lovely as was the sauce that they were covered in. The prawns were cooked perfectly and the sauce on the prawns was lovely too. The nachos were serviceable nothing special. For mains I ordered the ribs. These were cooked perfectly and the portion was humongous! The meat just came off the bone. Was very filling. The restaurant can be very busy so best to book a table in advance. The restaurant is hmc certified. There is also a prayer area available. Also if you park at the ncp next door be sure to present your ticket to a member of staff and you'll get your parking validated for £1

Booked a table for three in advance as thought it would be busy (Saturday 7pm). Turned up and there were only a handful of people there so plenty of tables free. Had a nice table with a view overlooking outside and we ordered our food. It took a bit of time to arrive and we were given the option of having it served on the hotplate or sizzler. With the mocktails we were given the option of having a smoke effect added which we happily took. It was quite underwhelming and I would have liked the waiter to have mixed the two liquids together. The taste made up for the lack of smoke however. Ordered the rib eye and it was on point. Very succulent and full of flavour. Cousin ordered the fillet and it was very meaty and thick. Brother ordered T-Bone but unfortunately it was mainly bone so not very good. In terms of portion size, I would have liked it to be a little bit bigger. Compared to some of the other steakhouses, it was on the smaller side and for the price could potentially not be value for money. There is secure parking available at the NCP carpark and the ticket price is deducted from the bill which is a nice gesture. Prayer room available which is a positive. Overall it was a good experience. We went for the food which we were pleased with and would recommend steak aficionados to try the place. The steakhouse also offers a complentary cheesecake or ice-cream to help digest the steak.

I chose this restaurant after reading some really positive reviews online. The waiting staff were friendly & attentive. We found the location ideal with a car park around the corner. The food was great & we both enjoyed it. It is a credit to the manager who we spent a good time talking to. The guy is a truly an exceptional shining star.

Came to Steak & Lounge for a Sunday evening meal. Although the atmosphere was only decent, the food was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked. Having mine medium well, others tend to overcook it but this was spot on! The chicken supreme was also really tasty and the starters were good too. The burger was a little bland but the sauces helped give it the kick it needed

You can't fail this place, the food was fantastic, the place had a great feel when you walk in, it was very busy when we went. But their service was excellent and the food was outstanding, I have never tasted ribs that are so tender seasoned well. Coming from London I haven't come across a similar restaurant like this, very glam, fine dining, quality also Hmc as well. If I ever come to Leicester, for sure I will come here again.

An excellent quaint venue with good customer service. We ordered a mix platter for two starters, sirloin steak and rib eye steak with mojito drinks. The starters consisted of 3x crispy fried prawns, 2x large chicken wings covered in a succulent flavoursome barbecue sauce an a beef rib. The beef rib was large, tender and melted in your mouth. All starters were excellent. Mains, sirloin was ordered medium and the rib eye medium rare. Both steaks were cooked perfectly upon a chat grill and to our liking. Our mojito's were both flavoursomes and rather fancyful with dry ice steaming out. The only recommendation I would give is to offer seasonal steamed veg as an accompaniment or as a side. Otherwise a quality restaurant that we will definitely be visiting again.

Food took ages to make even though the restaurant only had about one other customer in. Parking was only partially paid for (reduced by £2) and randomly added service fee of £12 at the end of the bill which never use to be here the last time we came. Asked for a jug of water but was declined and asked to buy overpriced still water. Steak was good but did have quite a lot of fat on it that was just not edible. Prayer room was good, food was average.

The food was fantastic. I had the fish and it came with a sauce that it did not even need. They also have a kids menu so it’s very family friendly. Maybe not handicap friendly because you do need to go upstairs and I did not see a lift. Bathrooms were clean. My only issue is we weren’t told until the end of our meal that their card reader wasn’t working and we needed to pay cash. They did have an ATM downstairs which didn’t charge a fee so I don’t think it was too sketchy. Other than that, food was really good. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing. Came here for my birthday dinner, I was anxious however they didn’t disappoint. The ribeye was spectacular and the mash was stupendous. Servers were excellent and they gave a little cake to me for a treat.

We live in Loughborough and were looking for a steakhouse in either Leicester or Nottingham that weren’t the big places like Miller & Carter etc. After googling and looking at menus we decided on here and I’m so pleased we did! It was amazing!!! We visited on Thursday, the weather was terrible (flood warnings) but the restaurant was warm. We had great service, a young girl waitress (we didn’t get her name) was fantastic and really nice to us both. I am a hospitality manager which means I sometimes end up in work mode when I go out to eat 😭 but definitely didn’t here. They were all very attentive. The food was absolutely amazing, we had starters are they were absolutely delicious. The steaks were divine, I had a fillet and my fiancé had a T-bone. Both were perfect. I even loved the salad dressing! We will definitely be coming back. The free parking is also a great touch. The card machines were down when we visited but a short walk down the stairs led us to a card machine. Overall, we had an amazing date night and I’ve been raving to all of my friends! Thank you so much to the team 😍

The Steak and Lounge Restaurant is a haven of indulgence. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the elegant ambiance that exuded warmth. The star of the show? Undoubtedly, the steak. Each cut was cooked to perfection, delivering tender bites bursting with flavor. The culinary craftsmanship extends beyond the steak, with handcrafted cocktails and impeccable dish presentation. The staff's attentiveness and menu knowledge added to the exceptional experience. For an unforgettable dining experience, the Steak and Lounge Restaurant is a must-visit.

Steak and Lounge is an absolute gem in the culinary scene. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was captivated by its inviting atmosphere. The service was impeccable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The steaks were cooked to perfection. it's worth every penny for the quality of food and service they offer. They also provided free parking and a desert in the end, and on the top of that a 20% discount was mouth-watering as well. It's an ideal spot for a special occasion or a romantic dinner.

Don’t tend to leave reviews but this is worth it. I must say Steak and lounge has really exceeded my expectations. Service was next to none and the steak cut was quality meat. Lovely complimentary pallet cleansing ice cream to top of our 10/10 dinner this evening. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice steak. Honestly, this place definitely tops the likes of well known mainstream restaurants like Miller and Carter. I will be back to another meal here in the foreseeable.

After going through the reviews, we decided to visit them on Eid weekend. Restaurant Ambience is pretty decent and the service was good however the food is really average. The steaks were just dry tasteless meat, no juice whatsoever but the grill full chicken was the worse. Your average peri peri grill takway grills better chicken than these guys. No taste and it seems they just put a boiled chicken on a grilling pan to give you the impression of a grilled chicken. Dipped with loads of peri peri sauce on top with no taste. Even the accompanied chips were not fresh. My kids usually finish chips the first but in almost every dish there were loads of chips remaining. Overall bland food and not recommended considering the price. If you want proper grill chicken in Leicester try konak, Istanbul Restaurant.

We were On the Road and late so we phoned to see if the restaurant would still be open. The person who attended said their kitchen closed at 10;30 PM and we would arrive around that time so Akshar the person we were talking said they would receive us but it would be better if we pre ordered we checked the menu on line and ordered Fillet Steak Sizzler and Paneer Sizzler. Akshar was very friendly and replied to all the questions we asked. On our arrival we were very well received by Akshar. The Steaks were very good . Service was good Akshar was very friendly and also the Manager Mr Mohamad Ali came to our table to query if everything was fine and how the food was. Very good experience we had . I will recommended. Food was very good. Akshar did a good job waiting on us. Was helpful and friendly. Overall very good

I attended a charity event at this Stake House with a friend for a charity event and not only was it a great event to be a part of where the nights take was donated to a children's charity called Rainbows Hospice. They also served up one of the best steak and beef roasts that I've ever had! I really should have taken a photo of it. If you're in the area just go!

I've been told by all of my friends this steak house is absolutely amazing. Honestly I have to take my hat off to this place as from the start to the end of my experience. It was exceptional. I also have a nut allergy which the friendly staff helped me out and knew exactly what items I was able to eat Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Mocktails 10/10. I highly recommended you give this place a go.

The food came out really quickly and all 6 main dishes came out together which was nice as everyone started eating at the same time. The steak cuts were nice and tender and the mushroom sauce complimented this very well. Their sizzler dish was excellent and it was nice to see something different. The lamb chops were full of flavour and tender. All sides went really good with the mains. The highlight though was their lychee and passion fruit mocktail, a refreshing and tasty drink for a hot day with dry ice to put on a show. Overall, it was a really good experience and would definitely be back.

Visited this place on the weekend. Parking is conveniently right opposite the place (NCP), show the staff your ticket and you only need to pay £1. We were welcomed in an guided to a seating area, good atmosphere, not too loud, not too quiet. Nice decor all round and decent view if you get a window seat. Food arrived quick after ordering. Steaks are the best we've had in Leicester. Beef ribs are also the best I've ever had, meat falling off the bone, tender as anything, can literally pull it apart. Sauce on the beef ribs was nice too. Lamb chops were pretty good, cooked well and good flavour. Mojito was good, dry ice in it and juice comes separate so you can enjoy the theatrics of the smoke from the dry ice and you pour the juice. Overall 9/10.
