Visited Leicester for 2 days because of work and was looking for something nice to eat. Came across this lovely little place with the lovliest owner! Service was great and everyone was very friendly. And let me tell you, the BURRITOS are to die for! The best one I had for sure!! When I'm back in Leicester, I will definitely come again! 😊😊 XX

One of the rare burritos I have had where you can taste every individual ingredient and nothing overpowers it. The pulled beef burrito is perfection. On top of the food being excellent, the family that runs this restaurant are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They always give water and some food to my dog. Wonderful people and food.

Amazing service. The owner was such a lovely person, she took the time to walk us through the various options on the menu and the toppings too. The burritos were the best I’ve tasted to date and I even tried them in Texas, USA! That’s got to tell you something. Highly recommend.

How this place has anything but 5 star reviews I don't know. The food was delicious. I had a beef burrito which was that moreish I wolfed it down. The nachos were so tasty and the variety of drinks on offer was pretty big. The couple who run the place were incredibly friendly and sweet. I wouldn't hesitate going there again.

Coming here was the best decision I have ever made. The food was genuinely life-changing and the woman behind the counter is lovely, incredibly kind and polite. I will never eat anything as good as the burrito here.

Fabulous place serving fabulous food. Myself, my partner and his parents came across this little gem on the way to the curve theatre. I'm a coeliac so I was worried that I may not be able to eat anything here. HOWEVER I was wrong, they were so lovely and explained what I could and couldn't have. I was able to have the choice of a Burrito or Tacos. I went for the Tacos option and they were delicious!! It was so nice to go somewhere that served us great food without any worries. A little hidden treasure in Leicester! Thank you!!

This week was my first time going and the lady that worked there was incredibly nice! She helped explain all the options and gave advice on what she liked. I got the beef burrito and it was delicious and not too expensive. I will definitely be going back again!

First time trying this place and I am impressed. My husband and I ordered two veggie burritos and loaded fries and both tasted so so good. Definitely coming back for my never ending burrito craving!

Best Burritos in Leicester............... bar none!!! Freshly made to your liking, and have NEVER been disappointed. During the day, I've even taken colleagues from out of the area to try. Make sure you're hungry though. You won't want to eat again that day. Awesome awesome awesome.

Any time I want a Burrito it’s all ways has to be Viva El Burrito. Friendly and polite staff nice and clean sitting area and the quality of food is 10/10. 100% recommend

My friend and I got mami chulo burritos, my friend got the vegetarian one and i got the one with beef. It was the best burrito ive ever had, everything was flavourful, succulent and fresh! and the customer service was amazing and they were so kind. its my new favourite food place, its so cute and welcoming and you get exactly what you want. ❤️ (ive been craving a burrito ever since lol)

My family insisted I try this when visiting from London and I’m glad they did. The service is friendly and welcoming - that alone makes you want to come back. But the food… wow. And I’d definitely suggest trying the new loaded fries! Can’t wait to come back already!

Wonderful place. The lovely people working there (perhaps even the owners!?) were so warm and welcoming. We nipped in with very tired, hungry children and we could not have chosen a more childfriendly, accommodating place. It immediately felt like dinner and grandma and grandpas house :) The food was incredible. The quesadillas were incredible and very filling. They cater for all tastes (mild, spicy, vegetarian, etc...). The drinks they serve are a novelty and a hit with young and old. We also wont ever eat chips anywhere else ever again. THE VERY BEST CHIPS!! And we have eaten many chips in our lifetimes. Great value for money. We will definitely be back and we would recommend others to go and visit, too.

Fabulous family owned, independent restaurant. I have lunch here regularly. The burritos are always fresh and delicious. The owner is always friendly and welcoming.

We chose vegan tacos, as a note, we asked them to be halal and not come into contact with animal products. There was a note written on the receipt in the package that came. meat and chicken are also halal. We would prefer them if we knew.😊 good taste, good spice balance. we finished without taking a picture😊 Thank you 🙏

Loved this place for a low cost but super tasty and filling lunch. The owner is lovely, very friendly, and the vegan options are great. There are even vegan churros (will be trying on my next visit)!

Been here a few times now and the food never disappoints. It's like a pleasant surprise every time because I forget just how good it is. Also the service is second to none; the lady who runs it is so warm and welcoming to everyone that comes in!

The place is very clean and beautifully decorated with wooden furniture. The woman behide the counter is very friendly, respectful and helpful. The food is delicious; it was warm, but I would've prefered it much hotter. Overall a very nice experience, especially the staff very extremely nice. I would definitely visit this place again.

I don’t live in Leicester, but after my Viva El Burrito experience, I’m considering it. The food was quick, delicious, and made with so much care. My only regret is that I didn’t get the name of the amazing woman behind the counter. Thank you, because you made my day.

Great food and great service! The couple who own the restaurant are so lovely and welcoming. We had nachos, tacos, cheese and jalapeño bites, and the mango and brie parcels. Everything was fresh, tasty and great value. We really appreciated the hospitality and will visit again!

Please help I am completely addicted to everything on their menu. The owners are the sweetest people I've met who cater to absolutely everyone. Meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans. Theres something for everyone. One of the best food places in Leicester. Viva El Burrito!

This was the 2nd time we visited as my daughter recommended because they offer vegetarian options. We travelled from the other side of Leicestershire with our dog, as we knew they would welcome us all with open arms; they certainly did! The lovely family that own this place could not have made us more welcome! The food was deliciously fresh, the drink selection is cool & alternative, plus they offer chocolate churros! What’s not to ❤️ This little trendy place is our very fave and deserves full recognition of everybody! VIVA EL BURRITO🥰

I have never left a review before I’ve even left the restaurant before but I’ve never felt more at home and taken care of than in this place, super friendly and amazing staff, really accommodating, gorgeous place and the food is to die for. I was only visiting Leicester today and now I have to come back for this place. I’ve travelled most of Europe and America and this is the best customer service I’ve ever experienced

Everything about this place is amazing. The family owning the business is very welcoming and friendly like no other places, makes you feel like at home. ❤️ Food is very tasty and made with love, many options to choose from. They do churros as well 🤩 If you're in town and passing this place, definitely pay a visit.

My favorite place in town to eat, everyone there is super friendly and it's very well priced. Absolutely love the Jarrito Mango drinks, rather pricey but can't get enough, these are £2.50 My usual is a chicken burrito, sometimes the 'baby' verion with rice, pepper, cheese, lettuce, and salsa which is either £6.50 or £4.50 depending on the size you go for. It's not overwhelming with choice, I don't know why but ordering at Subway is stressful for me I feel responsible for knowing my order haha but it's super chill and easy even if you're not sure what you want. Give it a go! :) I'll add some images next time I visit

Visiting from the US and my local best friends brought me here for dinner after a lovely afternoon walking around Leicester. The owner was a delight while taking me through the ordering process and was extremely sweet and patient with me. The sweet barbecue beef was the perfect combination with the spicy salsa on the large burrito I received. All the ingredients complimented each other perfectly and it tasted so fresh. Easily one of the best burritos I’ve ever had! Hopefully I get the chance to return before I have to fly back home.
